At this moment, there is about a week left until Green and Elsa's wedding.

On this day, with the sun barely rising in the west, Green finished his daily demon-cleaning duties before dawn, had breakfast with Death, and made a brief report before immediately returning to the human realm through a special passage from hell.

Green remembered that today was the day to pick a wedding dress for Elsa.

"…Green, what do you think of this one?"

"Do I even need to say it? You look amazing no matter what you wear; nothing here is not suitable for you!"

"Really?"

"I swear by the mirror!"

Farcist, in the Green Castle.

Elsa tried on various styles of wedding dresses while Green was responsible for commenting and admiring beside her.

Although in the end there was only one evaluation, Green sincerely believed that he was not being perfunctory, but was actually being truthful to accurately reflect the situation.

Not only did Green think so, even the palace designer beside him kept nodding.

The designer had seen many people who looked good in wedding dresses, but someone like Elsa, who could shine in any style and give a refreshing feeling, was rare, even to him. Not to mention the previous few people who gave him the same feeling, all of whom were in front of him—Green's wife.

As a fellow male, the palace designer expressed his envy.

"Lady Elsa, there's no need to rush. There's still plenty of time for you to choose, and there are many styles. If you're not satisfied, I can continue to design new styles for you."

"But wouldn't that be too much trouble for you?"

"No, no, no. It is the greatest honor of my life to design wedding dresses for a beautiful lady like you."

Noon.

The garden on the north side of the castle.

This was a flower garden planted by Mio after the battle, full of ornamental plants blooming vigorously under Mio's care, with a faint floral fragrance lingering in the surrounding area.

Passing soldiers on patrol couldn't help but slow down when they passed by.

Normally, besides Mio, Yuzuriha also enjoyed reading in this quiet area, although the content of the books she read didn't quite match the serene environment.

"Yuzuriha, you really love reading these books, don't you?"

"Yes, because these books are all very interesting."

Mio picked up a snack from the table, then curiously glanced at the book spine with colorful letters that read "I Have Five Brave Daughters," authored by "CYM."

Seeing this, Mio was taken aback. The title of the book didn't seem quite right, not like a title of a serious book.

But watching Yuzuriha so engrossed, Mio became curious and asked:

"Yuzuriha, can I borrow it after you finish reading?"

"If you want to read it, of course you can."

Yuzuriha agreed to Mio's request without hesitation, then suddenly closed the book on the table, and with a somewhat restrained tone said:

"However, I've almost finished the book Green gave me, and the books in the library don't quite suit my taste, so I was thinking...uh..."

"I want to write a book."

"..."

Yuzuriha's expression was so serious that Mio felt an irresistible urge, yet Yuzuriha hadn't asked for anything, leaving Mio unsure how to respond, momentarily at a loss.

Yuzuriha hesitated for a moment, but quickly recovered and added hastily,

"Just, just that... After I finish writing, would you be my reader?"

Yuzuriha's expression was sincere, mixed with a hint of timidity, like a novice seeking advice from a pro.

Mio blinked, the tension in her heart dissipating. She had expected Yuzuriha to say something astonishing, but it turned out to be such a small request, and the answer was self-evident.

"Of course, no problem!"

In the afternoon.

After handling the wedding invitations, Aloof and Tia strolled together in the bustling commercial street.

The population of the capital had surged in recent days, mostly drawn by the news of Green's upcoming wedding, with some seeking to expand their social circles.

"That Green, he spent the whole day today glued to Elsa, who knows what they're giggling about, I never showed that expression when I wore a wedding dress!"

"Yeah, and he came back so early today without even coming to see me!"

Hearing Tia's displeasure, Aloof chimed in.

Feigned anger but genuine jealousy.

"No, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. He must look good tonight!"

"Look good? How to make him look good?"

Aloof was intrigued by Tia's words, and then Tia leaned close to Aloof with a mischievous grin. They exchanged a few whispered words, sharing a mysterious smile shortly after.

In the evening.

Within the castle.

Green suddenly felt like cooking today and wanted to personally prepare the dinner, although his culinary skills were mediocre at best. Thus, under Lilith's guidance, the two of them started preparing the dinner together.

"Like this, and like this... Yeah, that's the feeling... Oh, this, it's cut too thick."

"Huh? Really? It looks about right to me?"

"Of course. But being able to do this without magic is quite impressive."

"No help for it. I don't have magic inside me, can't use life-type magic."

Green said helplessly.

At this moment, Lilith stood beside Green, patiently teaching him cooking techniques. They were standing very close, almost close enough to smell each other's breath.

Feeling the atmosphere, Green couldn't help but sigh.

"But if we had magic, we wouldn't be able to be like this, right? Hehehe, thinking about it, it's not bad, huh?"

"You... smooth talker!"

Lilith instantly understood Green's implication. Although her cheeks flushed slightly, she did not pull away, instead getting even closer to Green.

"I've decided, if you can't meet my demands today, you won't be allowed to eat."

"Huh - why like this?"

"It's the punishment for your smooth talking!"

Ignoring Green's protests, Lilith huffed and turned her head away, no longer looking at him.

In the end, Lilith let Green off the hook. As they were preparing dinner together, the rest of the group gradually returned to the castle and soon gathered together.

Just as Aloof and Tia entered the dining room, they were surprised to see Green already sitting at the table.

"Where are the maids? Aren't they here today?" Aloof inquired.

"I let them go back first. Today, Lilith and I are cooking ourselves!" Green looked proud, but Aloof wasted no time in bursting Green's bubble.

"Lilith may be fine with it, but are you sure you won't be a burden to her? Your cooking skills weren't great to begin with, and lately, you've been running off to the underworld at every opportunity, certainly with that death reaper... hmph!" Aloof sneered.

"Oh... well..." Green chuckled awkwardly. He immediately understood Aloof's jealousy. Among the group, only Aloof's jealousy towards Green was so transparent, and being treated like this was only to be expected. Green had been having his meals with the death reaper recently, always at night.

Mainly because Green was lazy in the mornings, playing around in the afternoons, and teetering between working and not working in the evenings. It was only at night when he would go to the underworld to deal with demons for his missions, and dinner was usually settled there too.

Today, he intentionally turned the underworld upside down earlier in the morning, only returning after meeting his daily targets. However, he didn't say anything to Aloof and the others afterwards, instead choosing to stick with Elsa.

But at that moment, Green saw Tia whisper something to Aloof, and he noticed the displeasure on Aloof's face gradually fade away, turning slightly... strange?

Upon closer inspection, there seemed to be nothing wrong, but Green couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

"What are those two scheming about now?" Green thought.

Soon, dinner was served on the eight-person dining table, and after exchanging greetings, they all sat around the table.

During the meal, Green occasionally brought up matters related to Elsa's wedding, learning from Aloof that many old friends would be attending, which made him even more excited.

Throughout the dinner, his doubts about Aloof and Tia were dispelled.

It wasn't until after dinner, in the evening, that Green finally understood what game the two of them were playing.

Since his resurrection after the great war, Green's body had changed, now requiring sleep like everyone else, even experiencing the fatigue-induced drowsiness that normal people feel. However, just as he was about to drift off contentedly into his bed, he sensed someone opening his door and then climbing into his bed.

Currently, they were sleeping separately, or more accurately, in separate rooms.

Initially, all seven of them shared a bed, but as time went by, Green began to feel that something was off, just listening somehow felt indecent, and the sleeping arrangement wasn't very comfortable either.

However, even though they were sleeping apart, anyone could join someone else's bed if they wished.

So when Green sensed someone entering his room and lying on his bed, his first thought was that one of the wives was feeling unfulfilled, but he quickly realized he was mistaken.

It wasn't just one person climbing into his bed; it was two.

Green rubbed his sleepy eyes, and as he opened them, he saw Aloof and Tia lying on either side of him, both putting on a coquettish pose with a mysterious smile playing on their faces.

"Um... it's already so late, let's do it tomorrow." With that, Green lay down, wanting to continue sleeping, only to smell two fragrant scents and feel a very comfortable touch on their body – Green knew what was happening without a word being said.

"No, this is your punishment!"

"Well, it's a wonderful punishment."

Green weakly quipped, but their body still didn't react much. Not to mention that Green was not someone who indulged in pleasures, the timing chosen by the two was indeed not ideal. If it had been earlier or the next morning, Green would definitely have complied obediently.

Most importantly, Green always felt that the two were up to something else, unwilling to just meekly submit. Finding Green unresponsive, however, the two didn't resort to noisy disturbance.

Just as Green was about to use Aloof as a pillow and sleep, they suddenly felt a warm breath on their ear, followed by gentle fingers trailing on their back, making Green all ticklish.

"Tomorrow, let's wait till tomorrow..."

Green responded in a feeble voice, but the two didn't give up their assault, instead becoming more relentless in their tactics, quickly depriving Green of any sleepiness.

"How about it, Mr. Green?"

Sensing Green's body slightly trembling, Tia whispered in a very faint yet alluring voice by Green's ear, instantly rousing Green.

Green sat up abruptly, then gritted their teeth, pretending to be fierce, "You two, I see you won't take a warning unless you're forced!"

Seeing Green in this posture, it was clear to the two what Green intended to do next. So Tia chuckled mischievously, rolled off the bed, made a face, and laughed, "Hehehe! Just trying to seduce you deliberately, I'm out first!"

"Right, Green, you deal with it tonight by yourself, I'm out too—oh?!"

Aloof also chuckled and attempted to escape in front of Green, but following Tia's example, she was firmly pinned down by Green on the bed.

"Green, you... Tia, help me!"

Aloof looked to Tia for help, but upon finding Tia showing a look of regret at her predicament, shaking her head, and finally leaving with a look of powerlessness, she closed the door and made a quick escape.

As the door closed, Aloof instantly foresaw what was going to happen that night.

"I knew something wasn't right with you two today, turns out you wanted to do this kind of thing..."

"Uh... that, that..."

Aloof lay on the bed, her face flushing red. She turned away, unable to meet Green's gaze, while angrily muttering in her heart, "Tia, you troublemaker!"

The next day, in the early morning.

Green shifted in their sleep and naturally embraced Aloof, who was watching his sleeping face.

The soft, fragrant pillow was so comfortable...
