Today, just like any other day, was peaceful. The day of Green's wedding was fast approaching. In the past few days, there was a wave of excitement all over the nation of Farcist, as well as in the neighboring countries and the Empire of Caesar. However, this particular wedding was between Green and Elsa.

In the depths of hell, Green had already finished his daily "cleaning" duties. Now, Green's routine consisted of assisting the Grim Reaper in hell and spending time with his wives. But they were not idle all day; they had tasks to attend to as well. Therefore, Green would hang out in hell when he had nothing else to do.

"Speaking of which, this job is so boring. Can you please talk to the Creator and give me something more interesting to do? I'm going to die of boredom at this rate," Green said.

"Are you trying to create a bad impression of me in the eyes of the Creator, you fool? It's your problem," the petite, chocolate-haired maiden of death retorted, clearly unwilling to bring up trivial matters to the Creator because of Green.

Feeling embarrassed, Green chuckled awkwardly and then released his grip on the mop handle, causing the peculiar mop to disappear into thin air.

"Sigh... It's really distressing to lose the source energy that has been with me for so long," Green lamented.

"Unfortunately, that's not the power of this world," the Grim Reaper replied.

Currently, Green only had a mop given to him by the Creator specifically for cleaning up the "trash" in hell. In the past, the Grim Reaper would handle the cleanup when she had nothing to do, but ever since Green arrived, she hadn't personally cleaned up.

"By the way, I have my wedding in a few days. Would you like to attend?" Green asked.

"Wedding?" Upon hearing Green's words, the Grim Reaper envisioned the six figures of certain individuals in her mind. She looked confused for a moment, then gazed at Green with a somewhat subtle expression in her eyes, and inquired slowly, "With whom?"

"Elsa, the granddaughter of the Demon King Salouth," Green replied.

"Hmm? Just her? Don't you have many other girlfriends?" the Grim Reaper raised an eyebrow, giving Green a skeptical look and applying a psychological pressure on him. However, Green wasn't easily intimidated. Through all he had experienced, he had already perfected the skill of speaking shamelessly without changing his expression.

He extended his right index finger, swaying it from side to side in front of the Grim Reaper, while his head also moved in sync in a slow, exaggerated nod.

"No no no, Aloof, Lilith, Yuzuriha, Mio, and Tia. They all married me before, so this wedding with Elsa is an additional one — it was discussed and agreed upon!" Green explained.

The Grim Reaper was silent for a moment and then looked at him with an indescribable expression. Green interpreted a sense of disdain from her expression, which made him instantly uneasy. Unaware of his own faults, he grumbled aloud, "What's with that look? Is marriage such a difficult topic? Elsa and I — it's fate. It's a perfect match!"

"I never expected you to become even more shameless after being revived by the Creator. You're simply despicable. Be honest, how many times have your so-called wives actually killed you?"

"You know nothing, you mop!" Green's tone was smug and self-satisfied, showing no self-awareness at all. Instead, he appeared proud. Following that, Green struck a defiant pose and said something completely thoughtless, "They are both lovely and kind, how could they possibly resort to violent acts against me? Ah, it's just impossible to communicate normally with older leftover women, impossible to communicate properly~!"

"…."

The grim reaper's expression changed repeatedly, ultimately giving up all changes and, with an expressionless face, extended his hand towards Green. Immediately, Green felt an irresistible force pushing against his chest, causing his whole body to fly backwards. Once he realized it, Green despaired as he found himself in a rapid descent towards the ground, apparently being kicked out of hell.

"Oh my god! I was just making a joke, was it necessary to go this far?!"

As he neared the ground, Green started feeling anxious. Falling in his current state would not cause any serious harm, but it would definitely hurt!

He didn't have any strange fetishes.

Fortunately, just before hitting the ground, a gentle and refreshing force caught Green.

The familiar energy, the comforting sensation, made Green instantly recognize who had saved him. Clearly, it was the silver-haired elf girl who appeared in his sight—Mio.

"Green, did the Lord of Death kick you out again?"

Mio approached Green, helping him up from the ground and with a slightly helpless tone, seemingly accustomed to such incidents by now. This wasn't the first time; Mio had almost grown used to it.

Upon hearing this, Green's face was full of resentment, as if he had been greatly wronged.

"Tch! I merely said she was an older leftover woman, was it necessary for her to treat me like this...?"

His voice gradually faded towards the end as Green noticed Mio's expression turning slightly angry.

"Green, that's not right. The Lord of Death at least saved us, how could you say such rude things to her? If you continue like this, I will… I will ignore you for a whole day!"

Finishing her words, as though she meant it, Mio pouted and turned her head away. Seeing Mio in this manner, Green couldn't help but admire her seriousness, finding it incredibly cute.

Thinking of this, Green's mood lifted, and he quickly assumed a pleading posture, then with a slightly playful tone, he said, "Alright, alright, my bad. After the wedding, we'll make sure to treat the Lord of Death well. Don't forget, I've been studying cooking with Lilith and Aloof recently, so it will be my time to shine!"

Green's culinary skills were not exceptional, but out of boredom during his days, and with the magic inside him, he had been learning some simple life magic from Lilith in his spare time.

On the other hand, he was also learning mysterious cooking techniques from Aloof.

Back in Anglia City, Green hadn't forgotten the extraordinary dishes Aloof had prepared, surpassing human standards.

After his apology, Mio's expression softened, giving her a reason to forgive Green.

"Alright, I forgive you. But remember to show respect to the Lord of Death."

"Understood, understood, Lady Mio is right! In the future, I will definitely be more attentive!"

"……"

Green intentionally said some playful words to ease the atmosphere, but instead received a bewildered gaze from Mio. The unexpected reaction made Green feel a bit embarrassed, but then the next moment, Mio quickly covered her lips, and then—

"Pfft—!"

"Ah, Mio, don't suddenly go silent like that, I thought you hated me!"

Seeing Mio laugh, Green finally dispelled the embarrassment in his heart, and then protested with a slightly coquettish tone. Perhaps Green himself didn't realize that since the last incident, he had started to rely on Mio and the others. Among them were the experiences of death and resurrection, deeper love upon reunion, as well as manifestations brought by weakening strength and inner unrest.

Mio remained as strong as before; Aloof, Tia, Yuzuriha, and Lilith, even though they lost their divine powers, were still much stronger than before, perhaps due to the enlightenment brought by experiencing higher realms; Elsa, who was about to marry Green, was still extremely powerful.

In comparison, only Green had become weaker, and not by a small margin.

At that moment, Green suddenly felt himself being embraced, accompanied by even breathing, unavoidably catching the unique scent of a young woman that only men could enjoy.

"So fragrant…"

Green couldn't help but sigh softly and then opened his arms in response to Mio's embrace.

Mio gently stroked Green's hair with an extremely gentle force, his slightly stiff black short hair brushing against her palm, a mixture of rigidness and fragility.

"Green once made me feel at ease, now I want to make Green feel at ease."

"Mio…"

The sincere words that entered his ears at close range turned into a warm stream that flowed into Green's heart, spreading throughout his body, making him incredibly warm all over.

At that moment, Green clearly realized that even if he had nothing else, he had Mio and those lovely girls.

Green couldn't help but sigh —

"It's really nice to be alive."

"Yeah."

By now, it was already past noon, and the weather was getting a bit hot.

The two found a spot outside the city with a good view, then lay under the shade of a tree to cool off, experiencing the feeling of being caressed by the warm breeze, which was quite pleasant — especially when Green could also enjoy resting his head on Mio's lap.

And so, the two snuggled together for a long time.

If it weren't for something sudden happening to Mio, they might have stayed until nightfall.

Mio's clan — the elves — had already reestablished communication with the mainland and set up guides throughout the Elf Forest to prevent foreign travelers from getting lost in the forest.

Mio's status within the elven community had also significantly risen, now resembling a leader-like figure.

As evening approached, having finished their daily work in hell and with Mio having matters to attend to, Green returned to the castle and prepared to chat and play games with his other wives.

In the Farcist castle, Aloof, Lilith, Yuzuriha, Elsa, and Green sat around a rectangular dining table, calmly enjoying their meal.

Currently, Lilith and Aloof are mainly responsible for the meals of several people, and the servants are basically useless. After all, compared to those unfamiliar maids, Green still prefers the meals made by his own wife.

"Yuzuriha, can you please stop reading when you're eating— 'Death Reaper Boy and Bloodsucking Girl'? Isn't that a book the author stopped updating a long time ago? Why are you still reading it?"

"Correction: The author didn't stop updating, it's just that you can't go back to the original world and get the latest content."

"Isn't that the same as being not updated at all?"

Green said in surprise, then stopped pursuing the matter further and changed the topic.

"How's Mio doing? Not coming back today? And is Tia still busy?"

"Well, it seems there are a lot of things to help with on the side of the elves, and you know Mio's personality... As for Tia, it might take a few more days. But don't worry, you will still make it to your wedding with Elsa, no need to worry."

Lilith answered.

Upon hearing Lilith mentioning the wedding with Elsa, Aloof pouted discontentedly, then put down the chopsticks, crossed her arms, and sarcastically said in an unnatural posture:

"Well, well, it's really good that a separate wedding is being held just for her. But there's nothing we can do, after all, you two are a match made in heaven, right? —Isn't that right, Green?"

Aloof glanced at Green, obviously feeling jealous, and the jealousy was quite strong.

Seeing this, Elsa sitting beside her showed a shy and shy smile on her face. It was clear that she not only didn't get angry because of Aloof's strange tone, but rather enjoyed it.

"Aloof, you're really going too far, are you still holding a grudge?"

"Holding a grudge? Holding what grudge? By the way, what do you mean by calling me sister? Are you trying to say I'm older than you!"

If she remembered correctly, Elsa was hundreds of years old, while Aloof hadn't even reached twenty.

At this moment, being called sister by someone hundreds of years older than herself, even if this title was merely a form of respect, Aloof couldn't help but feel like she was being mocked in this context.

Seeing Aloof's protest, Elsa quickly waved her hand with a wry smile and replied:

"Oh, no, not at all. As for holding a grudge, of course, I meant the first time we met."

"The first time?"

Aloof was first stunned, then suddenly recalled the scene:

At that time, she found herself being charmed by Elsa, and just as she was being forced into intimate contact with Elsa, Green suddenly opened the door and froze at the bewildered expression on her face.

Immediately, a blush rushed onto her cheeks.

"Hmph, I'm ignoring you guys!"
