"Ka-"

With a sound, the door of the dormitory was opened.

It was Senior Yilan, wearing a purple outfit. She faced my direct gaze without avoiding it, lightly raised an eyebrow, and then sat on her own bed, calmly looking back at me.

"..."

Feeling a bit unwilling to accept her attitude, I looked back at her without any weakness.

Senior Yilan's mouth slightly curved, as if smiling subtly.

I forced a smile as well.

Just when we were in a deadlock, footsteps suddenly came from the door-

"Hey, Wakaka, why do you think the principal..."

Ayia's voice sounded hesitant and confused.

"We're back!"

Wakaka, as always, was cheerful and straightforward, or rather, lacking a bit of intelligence.

Then, when they pushed open the door, they saw the following scene-

A black-haired girl in her prime sat upright on the bed, facing a graceful figure in a purple dress. The figure in purple had a teasing smile that tugged at the girl's heart, causing her to shyly lower her head. Her watery eyes seemed to have something to say...

The whole room was filled with a faint pink aura.

(Don't ask me why I used these silly rhetorical devices... the ban words on SF have been strange recently...)

...

Hey, which idiot gave me a commentary? I'll kill you...

Wakaka: "Wow, what's going on here..."

"Sorry, we're interrupting."

Ayia stopped Wakaka, covering her mouth, while bowing repeatedly towards us and retreating towards the door.

"Bump!"

My hand reached out towards them but awkwardly stopped mid-air...

...

...

Alright, since it's come to this, I might as well go all out-

"Senior!"

Before I could even ask, Senior Yilan spoke first-

"Molly Ann, tell me, what makes you special?"

"..."

Me...what makes me special?

"Wait, Senior, I want to ask if you were following-"

"I've been watching you for quite some time and haven't found anything particularly special about you..."

Wow, she actually admitted it so openly!

And she even sarcastically mocked me!

"Um, Senior, why were you secretly following me?"

Senior Yilan lightly brushed her hair-

"I wasn't following you, I just wanted to avoid disturbing your normal life, so I hid myself a little."

That's already a super orthodox form of stalking!! But how did she become invisible?!

"And I didn't spend that much time watching you, only about twelve hours a day."

That's long! Even longer than I imagined! How terrifying!

"And besides, I didn't intentionally hide myself."

Oh, if it wasn't intentional, then it doesn't really count as stalking...

...

Something is not right...

I lightly bit my finger, furrowing my brows as I tried to remember the logic from earlier...

"Chuckle-"

"..."

I seemed to have heard a light chuckle just now, but when I looked up, Senior Yilan had already reverted back to that subtle smile.

"You have such a clueless and silly look that... cough cough..."

She turned her back to me, waved her hand, and lay down on the bed-

"Alright, alright, I understand. It seems like there's nothing really worth noting about you. I won't follow you anymore, little Molly Ann."

"..."

What's with the "little Molly Ann"...

--------------------------------------------

At this moment, on the rooftop of the dormitory-

Ayia and Wakaka were huddled under the ping pong table, keeping warm together.

Ayia: "..."

Wakaka: "..."

Ayia: "Hey, Wakaka, why did we come here?"

Wakaka: "Huh?! Didn't you drag me here!?"

Ayia: "I... just came here subconsciously..."

Wakaka: "Then let's just go back!"

Ayia: "Hmm... maybe it's already over..."

Wakaka: "Huh? What's over?"

Ayia: "Okay, okay, let's hurry back."

"Okay okay... there doesn't seem to be anything worth noting about you, I won't...”

As they arrived at the dormitory door, they heard this intermittent voice.

Vakaka (loudly): "Hey! We're coming...!"

Ayia grabbed her by the mouth and dragged her back to the rooftop.

Vakaka (gasping for breath after her mouth was released): "What are you doing!?"

Ayia sighed lightly and looked kindly towards the sky.

"Tonight... let's give them the room... let them calm down."

...

A gust of cold wind blew by.

Vakaka: "Ahchoo!"

Ayia: "Ahchoo!"
