There are all kinds of antisocial organizations in the world. Each has its own goals and principles, and they occasionally clash with one another over their ideals. You can usually tell which organization is behind an attack by its methods. The six most notorious evil organizations are as follows.
Demon Lord's Followers
Legend has it that they’re remnants of an ancient Demon King’s forces, supposedly controlled by the Dark Heavenly King, one of the Demon race’s Four Heavenly Kings who’s still alive to this day. They’re exceptionally powerful in combat and specialize in creating all kinds of monsters, even fusing ancient magitech with them. Their base is the “Dark Alley,” beyond the Containment Facility’s control. They’re the oldest of the evil organizations.
Demon Revivalism
A group that split off from the Demon Lord's Followers. Its methods are more radical and brutal. It’s an extremist racial-supremacist organization made up of demons who once followed the Demon King, along with a few descendants of the pan-human races. They usually use bloodline activation and special fusion techniques to turn ordinary people into monsters they can control.
Church of Yore
Evolved from ■■■■, its members are rebels who still believe in ■■■■. They rarely take part in attacks on society, but they’re all deeply strange. Terrorist activities involving the Church of Yore often cause large-scale mental contamination. Afterward, anyone with ties to the Church is dealt with, and every memory related to it is erased.
Society of Yesteryear
Its members possess a wealth of technology from before ■■■■. Most have been contaminated, yet they still worship the glory of the past and retain a large number of magitech relics from the age of the ancient empire. The Society of Yesteryear has infiltrated the Empire’s upper ranks more deeply than any other organization. Its members often trigger social crises by manipulating containment objects.
Magitech Machinery Association
A new evil organization that has emerged in recent years. Little is known about it so far. It favors combining mechanical technology with magitech, and its members often undergo mechanical alterations. The organization also likes to build all kinds of machines to attack cities.
The Deeply Corrupted
An organization made up of members who’ve been corrupted and twisted by the Abyss, yet still retain some ability to think. Their goal is to spread Its “gospel.” Even among the many antisocial organizations, they’re the least acceptable of the lot. Whenever a terrorist attack involves some especially disgusting, indescribable monster, it’s almost certainly the Deeply Corrupted. Of course, other organizations sometimes deliberately make things look that way to pin the blame on them. The Deeply Corrupted never defend themselves, anyway. But sometimes an organization keeps passing the blame until it gets contaminated by something indescribable itself—and becomes part of the Deeply Corrupted.
