“Boom!”
A massive explosion rang out beyond the village.
The sleazy man came flying out of the house in a sorry state. He stared in disbelief at the woman slowly walking out after him.
What had just happened? Had he been punched?
Had that woman really punched his handsome, good-looking face?
I stepped slowly over the wood splinters and looked down at my fist, frowning.
I’d used quite a bit of strength in that attack, yet I’d caused so little damage.
If I remembered correctly, both my “Physical Attack” and “Strength” stats were already maxed out.
By the standards of this world, I should’ve been practically invincible. So why…?
“Who the fuck are you? You don’t even have a level, so how the hell do you have that kind of strength?”
The sleazy man cursed furiously. As he stared at the stunningly beautiful woman, it felt as if countless ants were crawling all over him.
The itch was unbearable. He wanted nothing more than to pin her to the bed and rip off her clothes.
No level? So that’s what it was.
If levels were tied to stats, that would explain why I was so weak right now.
I was a “blacklisted” nobody without even a single level. Was that why I couldn’t bring out my full strength?
“What the fuck are you standing around for? Get in there and take him down! Damn it, you’re all useless!”
The sleazy man glared at the big men in the courtyard, who still hadn’t dared to move, and screamed at them in a frenzy. Then he let out a yell and charged.
“Ignorant…”
I watched the sleazy man race forward, skimming low across the ground like a wolf.
I curled my lip in disdain. He couldn’t even tell how wide the gap between our strength was.
How had this man even managed to stay alive until now?
The first to strike has the advantage. After all, he had the strength of a level five.
He was inexplicably confident in himself. One strike would decide the winner.
The moment he lunged, he could already picture the woman beneath him, panting and begging for mercy.
At the thought, a wicked heat rose from his lower abdomen.
Just as the sleazy man had expected, one strike was all it took to decide the fight.
What he hadn’t expected was that he’d be the one to lose.
“Thud!”
A dull impact rang out. Then the sleazy man’s vision went black.
A sharp pain shot through his face. What had happened?
Why couldn’t he see anything?
What’s the first thing people feel when they’re suddenly plunged into darkness? Fear.
The sleazy man was no exception. Temporarily blinded, he flailed wildly with both hands.
He tried to grab hold of something, but it was useless.
The Reaper’s voice was already murmuring in his ear.
Before the sleazy man could make a sound, a searing pain erupted in his abdomen.
The blow landed like a massive hammer, making his whole body convulse.
He doubled over like a shrimp, retching again and again.
I clenched my right fist and drove it hard into his jaw.
The force sent him flying. I stamped down and sprang after him at once.
The powerful recoil split the ground open, leaving a deep crater.
I raised my right leg high. A woman’s flexibility could make for an unexpected attack at a moment like this.
I spun in midair, using the rotation to build up centrifugal force.
My leg whipped out with a fierce rush of wind.
The earth trembled. The instant the sleazy man slammed into the ground, he lost control of his body.
A pain like his body was being torn apart shot through his nerves and into his brain.
His body convulsed.
The big men nearby stared so hard their eyes nearly popped out.
What had just happened? They had no idea.
All they’d seen was their master get blasted away the moment he charged.
And now he was left like this. Could that thing really be called a woman?
“……”
I looked coldly at the sleazy man sprawled motionless on the ground.
I took a deep breath. A transparent wisp of energy flashed across my arm.
“Hah!” I let out a sharp cry and threw all my strength into a strike against the ground.
“Crack-crack-crack-crack-crack!”
Cracks raced forward in plain sight, writhing like wild serpents.
A towering white wave surged up and slammed into the house I’d been standing in moments earlier, roaring like a tank.
“Crack! Crack! Crack!”
The sturdy building crumbled at once, as fragile as a bubble.
Then it quickly collapsed.
The lavish building that had stood there just five minutes ago was reduced to rubble in no time.
The big men stood frozen, mouths hanging open. They had no idea how to describe what they were feeling.
Everything that had happened that day was far beyond their ability to comprehend.
A stunning beauty had suddenly turned into a war god and punched a building to pieces.
And most importantly, she didn’t even have a single level. She was a “blacklisted” nobody.
“I’ve already shown you the greatest mercy by sparing your life.”
“Spend the rest of your life alone, trapped in this crazed state.”
The man at my feet was drooling and grinning like an idiot.
Unless something unexpected happened, the shock earlier had probably damaged his brain.
That was for the best. Now that he was an idiot, he wouldn’t be able to threaten the villagers anymore.
“Hmph…”
I snorted and paid them no further attention.
I picked up the map I’d taken earlier and left.
At last, I could set off in peace. But before that, I should say a proper goodbye to Hill and the others.
