No one expected to open the door and have someone’s whole body come crashing down on them.
Shen Guang hadn’t been prepared at all. The full weight of the person knocked him to the floor.
“Is this karma coming full circle?” Shen Guang felt something wet against him. It made him deeply uncomfortable.
He shoved the person off him, got up, and switched on the light by the door. Only then could he clearly see the face of the person lying on the floor.
It was Liu Min!
Liu Min’s cheeks were flushed red, and her wet, clumped hair—like kimchi—made it clear she’d come back through the downpour.
Her white shirt was soaked through, revealing an enticing sight beneath that made it hard to look away. With the thunderstorm raging outside, it was just like a scene from some kind of R-rated movie.
Of course, movies were one thing. If you tried anything like that in real life, getting arrested would probably be the least of your worries.
But was Liu Min really this careless? Good thing she’d knocked on his door. If she’d gone to someone else’s, she might’ve been taken advantage of without even realizing what had happened.
A long time ago, Shen Guang had witnessed something similar.
A girl from his school got drunk, was taken advantage of, and was casually dumped by the roadside. By the next day, the whole school knew. The girl broke down emotionally and eventually tried to jump from her dorm. Luckily, one of her roommates stopped her, and no one died.
But what had happened couldn’t be undone. No matter how much the girl regretted it, she couldn’t take it back.
The girl later dropped out. Shen Guang didn’t know where she went.
Shen Guang didn’t want Liu Min to go through anything like that, either. He dragged her over to the sofa he’d just tidied up and laid her down on it. He wasn’t exactly happy about it, but he had to do it so she wouldn’t catch a chill.
“Why’d you get drunk and come to my place? This isn’t a shelter for drunks.” Shen Guang was about to try and wake her, but Liu Min opened her bleary eyes.
Her gaze was unfocused. When she spotted the young man in front of her, she pursed her lips pitifully and gazed up at Shen Guang for a moment. Then she threw herself into his arms.
“Boohoo, handsome, you must’ve been sent from heaven to save me! Those abs, that handsome face… Could I keep you, big sis-style?”
Keep… keep him?
Shen Guang wondered if he’d heard her wrong. Liu Min was living in his place—what could she possibly use to support him?
The woman in his arms rubbed herself against him coquettishly, and the droplets in her hair dampened his pajamas.
Shen Guang was thoroughly put off, but Liu Min wrapped her arms around his waist and wouldn’t let go.
“Boohoo, I’m so pitiful. The people at work are always looking at me weirdly, and my female classmates all keep their distance. And that disgusting boss of mine is always dropping hints. He should look in the mirror—his belly’s bigger than mine would be if I were pregnant!”
She cursed out the people at work, but all Liu Min did was cry into Shen Guang’s arms. Maybe she knew herself that she was only venting.
Then she looked up at Shen Guang, a smile spreading across her face, and reached out to pinch his cheek.
“Handsome, how do you get your skin so smooth~? It makes me wanna kiss you~”
“Liu Min, are you still acting crazy? Want me to throw you out?” Shen Guang glowered, forcing down his anger despite his discomfort.
“Oh~ You look so handsome when you’re yelling at me~ Why don’t you insult me a little more?” Liu Min suddenly tightened her grip and tackled Shen Guang onto the sofa.
Then she straddled him, pinched his chin between her fingers, and stared him down. Her forceful attitude left Shen Guang dazed for a moment.
Was this woman crazy? How could she be a masochist one minute and a sadist the next?
How had Shen Guang ended up with a tenant like this?
He tried to push Liu Min away, but when his fingers brushed over her black stockings, she let out a soft moan. A seductive smile played on her face beneath her hazy gaze.
“So… you like big sis’s stockings, huh~~ You should’ve said so earlier~ I’ve got lots and lots at home. Do you want a brand-new pair… or a pair I’ve worn?”
Liu Min reached out and groped Shen Guang, making his temper flare!
“I’m gonna punch you!” Shen Guang couldn’t take it anymore. He scrambled up and dumped Liu Min onto the sofa!
Liu Min was still dazed and had no idea what was going on. Shen Guang dragged her into the bathroom, dumped her on the floor, and turned on the cold water, spraying it all over her.
The cold water jolted Liu Min out of her daze, and her mind cleared at once.
She instinctively raised a hand to shield herself from the water and curled up into a ball.
“Stop, stop!” Her voice was hurried now. She didn’t sound nearly as dazed as before.
At that, Shen Guang finally turned off the cold water.
He folded his arms across his chest and glared coldly at the woman in front of him. He might as well have had the words “I’m not happy” written all over his face.
Liu Min wiped the water from her face and finally got a clear look at Shen Guang.
“Sh… Shen Guang? How did I get here?”
“Maybe the security camera outside can answer that for you?” Shen Guang said sourly, looking at the now-sober woman.
“I got drunk and came into your place?”
“What else? Did I drag you in here?”
“You didn’t try anything with me?”
“That’s a weird thing to focus on!”
Liu Min stared at Shen Guang in disbelief. He’d changed so much. Never mind whether he’d actually tried anything with her—he’d definitely have groped her at the very least! But instead, he’d splashed her with cold water to sober her up!
More importantly, he seemed really unhappy that she’d barged into his room.
Had she really lost all her charm?
Liu Min couldn’t believe it. She slowly got to her feet and started to walk forward.
Suddenly, her foot slipped, and she pitched toward Shen Guang. But this time, he was ready. He reached out and caught her firmly under the arms.
“Miss Liu Min, I’m starting to seriously wonder if you’ve harassed any of my other tenants like this.”
His accusation turned Liu Min bright red. She was so indignant that she blurted out,
“I haven’t! I’m not that kind of person!”
“But you just said you wanted to keep me.”
“I… I… Boohoohoo!”
She burst into tears just like that. Shen Guang rolled his eyes, feeling utterly helpless.
What had he done to deserve ending up with a woman like this? He hadn’t even said anything!
“All right, stop crying. Hurry up and go home. I have class tomorrow.”
“But it’s raining outside. I’m afraid I’ll catch a cold if I go home.”
“And?”
“Then lend me some clothes so I can shower here.” Liu Min stopped crying in an instant, her expression turning pitiful.
“I’m not into wearing women’s clothes. I don’t have anything that’d fit you.” Shen Guang felt a headache coming on. He was worst at dealing with this kind of thing.
But Liu Min quietly leaned against him and whispered,
“Your shirt, boyfriend-style!”
