The sedan itself was nothing special. It only drew a few glances. What truly held everyone’s gaze was the graceful figure stepping out of it.

She wore a gorgeous white dress, spotless and pure. Her silver hair spilled down her back. Light makeup framed a face stunning enough to topple kingdoms. Blood-red gemstone earrings swayed at her ears. Her slender hands, bare to the air, were as pale and tender as lotus root. Standing there, the girl looked like a fairy fallen into the mortal world.

After getting out of the car, Sisha’s crimson eyes quickly swept across the restaurant. She soon spotted Lu Feng, sitting there with an indifferent look, and a woman beside him who was furious and just about to leave.

When the woman across from Lu Feng saw the silver-haired girl enter, she froze slightly. Then she watched as the girl walked straight toward them.

“Lu Feng, so you’re here.”

Sisha smiled and walked over. She sat beside Lu Feng with perfect ease, then naturally leaned in and hugged one of his arms.

Sisha already carried a regal air. The moment she sat down, all eyes in the restaurant shifted to her. Compared to her, the other woman still standing nearby instantly looked dull and colorless.

“Oh.” Lu Feng was a little stunned too. Sisha’s outfit was completely different from when he first met her, so he hadn’t recognized her right away.

Isn’t this the girl who came to my clinic to take shelter from the rain that day? Wait, what’s going on here? She comes up and starts taking advantage of my pure, untouched male body?

“This lady, please sit down,” Sisha suddenly said to the woman who had been about to leave.

“W-What do you want?” The woman clutched her shoulder bag tighter and asked nervously.

“You just said Lu Feng ‘can’t even produce a single luxury brand,’ didn’t you?” Sisha asked flatly.

“I did. So what?”

“Then may I ask how many luxury brands you have?”

“Luxury brands? Everything I’m wearing is—”

Before she could finish, a silver flash cut through the air. A slit suddenly appeared in the woman’s handbag, exposing the cardboard stuffing inside. Right after that, the ring on her hand shattered and fell to the floor in tiny fragments.

“You’re carrying knockoffs and really thought I wouldn’t notice?” Sisha gave a mocking smile. Her elegant longsword slowly slid back into its sheath, and then she sat down again.

Kind of terrifying. Lu Feng couldn’t help shrinking his neck a little.

He hadn’t expected this girl to be an esper too. Pulling a sword out of nowhere, and she looked pretty strong at that.

“Y-You...” The woman stared at her handbag and the shards on the floor. Her face flushed red with rage, but no words came out.

“And you also said, ‘Making money is a man’s job,’ and complained that he wasn’t working hard enough and couldn’t earn enough, right?” Sisha lifted her chin slightly, proud as a swan. “Then let me tell you this. Lu Feng doesn’t need to make that much money. The reason you complain about things like that is, in the end, because you yourself are incapable.”

“Heh. You call me incapable? Then are you capable? If you are, then you support him,” the woman snapped, pointing at Sisha with a furious sneer.

“What if I do?” Sisha raised a brow, then looked toward the corner of the restaurant. “Bring it over.”

A smiling man in a neat suit walked over. Anyone familiar with the place knew he was the restaurant’s manager.

The manager approached Sisha, then bowed a full ninety degrees and handed her a contract. Under everyone’s puzzled gaze, Sisha signed her name on it.

“This restaurant now belongs to Miss Sisha,” the manager announced. Then he turned around, clasped his hands behind his back, and spoke with a stern face.

So... spring has arrived?

Could it be that, back on that rainy day, beneath the curtain of rain and the bleak autumn mood, a bowl of warm brown sugar ginger soup and a few gentle words moved a beautiful rich girl? And then she fell in love with me at first sight?

Lu Feng seemed to see a steaming bowl of soft-rice floating before his eyes. By his ear, it was as if a girl whispered softly through gauze, “The doctor said your stomach isn’t good, so here~ have~ some~ of~ my~ soft~ rice~”

No, no, no. I am the doctor. And I’m very good at health preservation. My stomach is perfectly fine.

Lu Feng was long past the age of life’s three great delusions. He knew something like that was impossible. He was just confused.

At first, the woman still didn’t believe it. She glanced at the contract on the table. Black text on white paper, red seal included. Everything was there.

“Y-You... fine, you win.” Left with no choice but to believe it, the woman pointed at Sisha, then at Lu Feng, her face full of shame and anger.

Lu Feng looked back at her. The corner of his eye lifted, one side of his mouth curled high, and he gave a disdainful, wicked smile that practically formed a check mark.

He had no idea what was going on, but when the time came to show off, he was absolutely going to show off.

The woman stomped away in her high heels, trying to leave as fast as possible, but a waiter quickly stopped her.

“Miss, you haven’t paid your bill yet.”

The woman pursed her lips, pulled out a red banknote from her torn handbag, and threw it at the waiter. Just as she tried to walk around him, he blocked her again.

“That still isn’t enough.”

The woman could only pull out another red banknote and throw it over. “Keep the change!”

Only then did she lower her head and hurry out of the restaurant.

At first, the entire restaurant’s attention had been focused on this table because of Sisha. But now, every single gaze had shifted to Lu Feng.

Envy. Jealousy. Hatred.

Understandable, understandable. Lu Feng naturally knew why.

Brothers, you’ve got to look past appearances and see the essence. Does a guy like me really look like someone who gets to live off a rich woman? Though, to be fair, if I did, I do have the physical assets for it.

As for why she bought the restaurant, did that even need asking? Pure coincidence. She just happened to want this place, and just happened to run into me again, the women’s confidant and emotional guidance master who had shown her the way before. So she returned the favor, that’s all.

“Thanks for this,” Lu Feng said with a smile. To avoid being drowned in the saliva of every other male in the room, he slowly pulled his arm out of Sisha’s embrace.

“This is nowhere near enough to repay Mr. Lu Feng’s great kindness,” Sisha said, shaking her head.

“It was just a small thing. No need to keep it in mind.” Lu Feng waved it off, then asked with some curiosity, “You came here this time because something happened?”

“Well...” Sisha seemed a little embarrassed.

“Is it about a relationship problem?” Lu Feng raised a brow, as if he had caught onto something.

Sisha hesitated, but still nodded.

“The person you want to spend your life with... are you still unable to be together because of some reason you can’t speak of?”

Sisha nodded lightly again, all while looking at Lu Feng.

Lu Feng suddenly understood.

Looking at how Sisha was dressed, she was obviously some noble young lady from abroad. But then why had she come alone to his clinic on that rainy night?

The answer was obvious, brothers.

A relationship problem. A relationship problem!

The reason she couldn’t be with the one she loved was because he was a man beneath her station. And the unspeakable reason was obvious too. Her family was violently against it, using illegal means to stop them!

Just think about it. After receiving a warning from the girl’s family, that man could only leave in silence. He had planned to disappear without a word, but the girl was too deeply in love. She actually ran away from home and came alone to a foreign land in search of the man she loved most.

What a moving love story.

Their eyes met. And the look in Lu Feng’s eyes as he gazed at Sisha instantly softened.
