Seeing the silver-haired girl staring blankly at the brown sugar ginger water he’d brought over—her body trembling slightly as if moved—Lu Feng began to speculate.

As a medical university intern, Lu Feng had also studied psychology. A true doctor heals both body and mind. That was his standard, his goal.

Some patients might recover physically with medicine, but if their spirit remained burdened—still anxious, brows furrowed—the illness would never truly fade.

Judging by her silver hair, Lu Feng guessed she was a foreigner who’d traveled far alone. Arriving at the clinic drenched in rain spoke volumes: no family here, no friends. Utterly alone.

Coming solo to chase dreams in a cold, unforgiving world… receiving unexpected kindness from a stranger—even something as simple as plain brown sugar ginger water—naturally stirred deep emotion.

A competent doctor. A genuine friend to women. A wordsmith. A master of pep talks. Back in college, he’d been the famed psychology and female affairs committee member. He *knew* how women felt.

Time for some gentle inspiration—to reignite her courage, help her walk forward without fear.

“Coming here for your goal… you’ve endured much hardship and many wounds, haven’t you?” Lu Feng sat opposite Sisha, offering a warm, natural smile.

*First move of the pep talk: the smile.*

*How does he know I’m injured? That I’ve suffered? And… my goal—does he know my mission?!*

Sisha shuddered. She glanced secretly at her wounded arm, then at the smiling young man. Pure horror flashed across her face.

*That calm smile… he knows something.*

Normally, she’d dismiss it as coincidence. But the bowl of strangely boiling *blood* before her made coincidence impossible.

*Look at her face. Nailed it.*

“Go on, drink it before it gets cold,” Lu Feng said kindly.

Still shaken, Sisha stared at the boiling blood. A fierce craving surged within. Hands trembling, she lifted the bowl. Hesitating a heartbeat, she steeled herself—and gulped it down.

The liquid touched her lips like sweet dew. The moment it entered her body, her wounds began healing rapidly. Her bloodline stirred with excitement. Power swelled faintly—enough to break through to a new rank.

Only the Vampire Empress possessed such rare Spirit Blood.

Yet here it was… in this humble clinic.

“Take your time. Want more? I can make it. As much as you like,” Lu Feng said with a slight smile.

*Creating Spirit Blood on demand… offering endless servings? Who IS this doctor?* A chill of fear gripped her. Then—a name flashed in her mind.

*God of Medicine…* Only that supreme, omniscient ancient deity could produce Spirit Blood freely.

Compared to the God of Medicine, what was she—a mere Blood Clan princess? She trembled at her earlier arrogance. If He truly knew all… that single thought alone would’ve doomed her a thousand times over.

“Life brings hardship and setbacks. Face difficulties bravely. The best way to conquer fear? Confront it.”

“But stay flexible. Bowing respectfully before an insurmountable presence isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom. Yet never lose your dignity.” Lu Feng tapped the table firmly. “Measured retreat is wise. Constant retreat is cowardice. Stay humble. Be courteous. Treat others as equals. That’s basic respect—for them, and for yourself.”

*He doesn’t demand subservience from lesser beings… only equality. Truly—the God of Medicine’s grace. Transcending worldly greed and power.*

All pride of a Blood Clan princess had vanished. Sisha rose slowly and gave Lu Feng a slight bow. Toward such a being, only reverence remained.

“Thank you, God of Medicine, for forgiving my rudeness and healing me. Your teachings, I shall forever engrave upon my heart.”

*God of Medicine?* Lu Feng blinked, then shrugged. People had called him “Divine Doctor” or “Gynecology Master” before. Probably just another exaggerated foreign title. Cultural difference.

“Please, no need for that. Just a small gesture,” he waved dismissively. “Call me Lu Feng. I’m just an ordinary doctor.”

Outside, the rain had stopped.

“Your kindness, Sisha will repay in due time,” she said with another bow.

“Mm.”

Lu Feng smiled contentedly, watching the silver-haired girl pull up her hood and vanish down the street.

*See that respectful bow? My life lessons really work.*

He glanced at the bowl—some brownish ginger water left. Rim still warm. He drank it.

*Can’t waste anything when you’re broke.*

He smacked his lips. *Too much sugar. Cloying.*

“No customers anyway. Time to game. Still half the map’s teleporters to unlock.” He opened his secondhand laptop and dove back into miHoYo’s latest blockbuster.
