Zhou You couldn’t figure out the link between his breakup and his parents leaving to celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary.

His brain hadn’t caught up yet, so he just went along and promised.

"Don’t worry. Youzi and I will set up all safety measures at home—guaranteed foolproof."

"You should also consider Youzi’s feelings. Though I know that girl actually… Anyway, just stay careful these days."

Xiao Yan definitely didn’t want to return from vacation with Zhou’s father only to find Chen Youzi pregnant.

How would she even explain that to Chen Tangtang?

Could she really say: "Youzi and Zhou You fell in love, are expecting a child, and we’re planning their wedding—care to be bridesmaid?"

As Youzi’s own older sister, Chen Tangtang would surely grab a knife, rush to Hangzhou, and chop her son into eighteen pieces.

"Don’t worry, don’t worry," Zhou You said dismissively, nodding repeatedly. He’d replayed the chat with his mom—nothing suspicious.

"Good," Xiao Yan said, rising from the sofa.

"You’re nearly in college. Some things need saying—would Mom ever hurt you? Anyway. Only Youzi, with her questionable taste, thinks her brother’s impressive. No wonder you got dumped."

*You really are my own mom.*

Zhou You’s lips twitched. Now he got it—Mom thought Yun Daidai dumped him. Understandable. Yun Daidai *was* rich and stunning on the surface.

She’d never guess *he* was the one who ended it.

Xiao Yan returned to the master bedroom to discuss travel plans. Chen Youzi’s door cracked open. A head peeked out cautiously.

"Brother."

"How did you tell Mom about Yun Daidai and me?" Zhou You never spread breakup news lightly—he’d only mentioned it to his sweet little sister Youzi and a few in that wealthy women’s group.

"Mm." Chen Youzi shrank back. "Auntie said you seemed off lately… I had no choice. Sorry, Brother."

She mustered courage, pulled the door wider—revealing her pink rabbit-print pajamas.

"Brother, give me your hand."

Zhou You reached out. She grabbed it and pressed it firmly against her chest.

Blushing, she stammered, "Online says… when apologizing, you should… expose your chest."

Zhou You: "???"

Thanks to family genes, Chen Youzi’s figure far surpassed the average high school sophomore—easily a C-cup or more.

Zhou You snatched his hand back as if shocked. Warmth lingered on his palm. *My first time touching a girl’s chest… had to be with Youzi?*

The internet really does mess people up.

What had it turned his adorable little sister into?

"Brother, one question," Chen Youzi pressed boldly. "What do you think about dating now?"

"You like someone? Want to date?" Zhou You caught on fast.

"Impossible! I’m heading into senior year. I just worry Yun Daidai hurt you and twisted your love views." Chen Youzi only bonded with girls who’d faced bullying; boys never mattered to her.

She’d actually guessed right. His love preferences *had* shifted subtly.

No longer into younger girls—he now leaned toward mature, elegant older women.

"Ahem."

Zhou You cleared his throat. "Don’t overthink. I still like women. Planning to date again—just no target yet."

His two meetups with "Sister Hua" were totally innocent.

"Really?"

Chen Youzi’s eyes lit up. Gripping the doorknob, her gaze darted. "I’m sleepy, Brother. Good night."

She shut the door fast, pacing excitedly.

Opportunity had arrived. She couldn’t miss it.

"What should I do?" She clapped her hands. "Ask Ning Mengmeng for help."

Ning Mengmeng was her classmate—a plain girl with thick round glasses, once bullied too. Thanks to Zhou You’s intervention, she now lived a normal school life.

She’d approached Chen Youzi first, seeking friendship or a big-sis figure.

Chen Youzi saw no threat in her frumpy look and casually took her as a little follower.

"Hello? Mengmeng?"

"Youzi," came the soft, timid voice.

"I need to ask you something…"

"Slow down, Youzi. Let me grab paper and pen." The unassuming girl—bowl cut, bangs shadowing her brows, thick glasses—reached for stationery.

"This stays between us. Don’t tell anyone," Chen Youzi warned.

"Mm-hmm."

"My brother broke up. I’m making my move."

"Mm… Huh?!!!"

Ning Mengmeng’s eyes widened. Pen clattered onto the desk. Mouth formed a perfect "O".

"Don’t be shocked—we’re not blood-related," Chen Youzi soothed, then eagerly detailed her plan.

Ning Mengmeng listened absently, set the phone down.

She gripped the pen tight. Shoulders trembled.

"Youzi’s brother… is single…" she murmured dreamily.

Suddenly, she faced the mirror.

Slowly removed her glasses. Swept her bangs aside.

A completely different face stared back—adorable, rivaling Youzi’s charm.

"Back then, I aimed to reach Youzi’s brother through Youzi. Never expected he had a girlfriend. I waited two years… hoping for this moment."

A radiant smile bloomed.

"Now… the chance is here."

She let her bangs fall. Glasses back on. The timid, plain girl returned.

"No rush. Charging in directly? Too risky."

Pen in hand, she scribbled over Chen Youzi’s plan:

*Original: Invite Zhou You out to nurture feelings.*

*Revised: "Accidentally" bump into him while "helping Youzi." Glasses fall. He sees my real face. Flustered: "Brother, keep my secret… I’ll do anything."*

Line after line filled the page. She set the pen down, satisfied.

"Sorry, Youzi. Your brother… is mine, Mengmeng."
