2. My Little Sister Has Her Quirks—And a

Night deepened.

Yun Daidai returned home, her posture perfectly composed—only her expression slightly colder than usual.

She sat upright on the sofa, staring blankly at her phone screen, waiting for Zhou You to apologize first.

She was beautiful. Her figure was undeniably great. What more could he possibly want?

Yun Daidai couldn’t fathom it.

“Being chosen by me alone proves you’re an excellent guy. What could you possibly be unhappy about… hiss—”

She suddenly clutched her lower abdomen, sucking in sharp breaths.

“Medicine.”

Frantically rummaging through her small bag, she dumped everything onto the floor. Composure gone. The stabbing pain left no room for dignity.

Grabbing a pill bottle, she gave it a gentle shake—no rattle inside. Panic flashed across her face.

“Empty. What now? Wait—ask Zhou You to buy some.”

Instinctively, she grabbed her phone, opened contacts. One call, and he’d appear within the hour with exactly what she needed.

How he managed it? How hard it was? She’d never cared.

Just then, her body froze.

She remembered. Zhou You had broken up with her. They were no longer a couple.

Eyes locked on the contact name, cold sweat beaded on her brow. Slowly, she curled into a tight ball on the sofa.

Half an hour passed.

Yun Mingyue came home early.

The moment she stepped inside, a foul odor hit her nose. Following it upstairs, she paused outside her room and shifted her foot off a crushed pill.

Frowning, she pushed the door open.

Yun Daidai had spilled the entire emergency medical kit across the floor, pale-faced, scrambling blindly among the scattered bottles.

“Which one is it? Why aren’t these labeled like the ones Zhou You prepared for me?”

“The bottle on your left,” Yun Mingyue said flatly.

Guided, Yun Daidai swallowed the pill. Sweat-plastered strands clung to her forehead; her clothes were wrinkled from thrashing.

“What a mess,” Yun Mingyue remarked, voice utterly devoid of warmth.

Having never known her father, Yun Daidai had always treated Yun Mingyue with icy contempt. Over time, Yun Mingyue’s patience had worn thin—she even deliberately restricted her daughter’s allowance.

Silence.

“Where’s your boyfriend? He always handled things so neatly. He couldn’t have forgotten your medicine.”

Yun Daidai’s breathing hitched. Fists clenched. A violent urge to strike her mother surged—then vanished.

She forced calm into her voice. “He’s just tired. He’ll be fine soon. Yes… he’ll come back.”

“Oh?” Yun Mingyue arched a brow, a knowing smirk forming—

*Vibrate.*

[Location Info]

Handsome and Thoughtful Guy: “Sister Hua, café next to Times Square tomorrow noon? See you then?”

Yun Mingyue instantly forgot Yun Daidai.

*This ungrateful daughter… raised her over a decade, yet shows less care than some random online guy. Might as well raise a slab of barbecued pork.*

Flourishing Wealth: “Good. See you then.”

Handsome and Thoughtful Guy: “Good night, Sister Hua. Try the foot massage tutorial I posted in the group.”

Flourishing Wealth: “You had time to make that?”

Handsome and Thoughtful Guy: “Broke up. Got plenty of free time now.”

Yun Mingyue saved the video, a faint smile touching her lips.

Across the room, Yun Daidai sat slumped—head bowed, hair tangled, utterly broken.

...

...

“Steel wool scrubber: a spherical cleaning tool made of fine steel wires, used for tough household stain removal.”

Zhou You read the search result, brow furrowed. *No matter where you use this… doesn’t sound great.*

*So clinging to a sugar mama’s leg is an art form too?*

“What am I thinking?” He shook his head. “Just a casual online meetup. What if it’s not a sugar mama… but a rich, handsome guy…”

A cold shiver shot down his spine.

If he hadn’t already promised Sister Hua, he might’ve backed out.

He closed the tab, stretched, and headed toward the indoor balcony for fresh clothes.

The living room was pitch black. Too lazy to flip the switch, he moved through the dark with practiced ease.

*Rustle… rustle…*

Just as he reached the balcony, a small shadow crouched by the drying rack.

“Brother?!”

The figure jumped, hastily shoving something into a nearby basket. Suspicious.

Zhou You flicked the light on. A sweet-faced girl stood frozen before him.

Chen Youzi—his cousin, temporarily staying with him. (Not closely related within three generations, worth noting.)

“Youzi, what are you doing here?”

“I… came to get something,” she stammered.

He picked up the undergarments lying near her. “Going to shower?”

Too flustered to admit she’d already bathed, she gave a vague “Mm.”

“I’ll call you when I’m done.”

As he turned to leave, courage surged in her chest.

“Congratulations, Brother… on the breakup. You deserve someone better.”

She lunged forward, hugging him tightly—her soft curves pressing against him for a heartbeat—then darted into her room.

*Bang!*

Back pressed to the door, her heart hammered wildly.

“Youzi… what have you done?!”

She collapsed onto the bed, face burning. Unbelievable. But… Brother was single now. No more suffocating “sweetness” with Yun Daidai.

She couldn’t hold back.

*This time… I’ll seize my chance. If I succeed… I can have my way with Brother…*

*Hehehe…*

Rolling giddily across the sheets, she only stopped when—

*Buzz… buzz…*

Phone pulled from under the pillow. Caller ID: “Sister Chen Tangtang.”

“Hello?”

“Mmm~ Ah~” A sultry voice drifted through.

Chen Youzi held the phone away, expression twisting. *My older sister?!*

“What are you *doing*?”

“Sorry,” the voice shifted smoothly. “Just following the little god’s bedtime massage tutorial.”

“It’s *just* a massage. Don’t make those sounds.”

“But it *is* really comfortable…”

Far away in a Hong Kong penthouse, a sweet-faced, curvaceous young woman lifted her damp feet from a basin, dried them gently, and tapped her screen.

Love of Ice City: “Video was very helpful. Thank you.”

Flourishing Wealth: “I enjoyed it too.”

Handsome and Thoughtful Guy: “Hope it helps the others as well.”
