3. My Little Sister Can't Possibly Be Th

A "Literary" Breakfast?

Luo Xiaolu pondered for a moment.

"Go wait in the living room, sis. Big Sister will make you something to eat."

She patted her gently swaying chest with quiet confidence.

"Hurry up!"

Pushing open the door, she stepped into the modest living room. A large rug covered the floor, centered with a PS4 and controller, surrounded by snacks and soda.

Clearly, this was Luo Xiaotang’s usual hangout.

Luo Xiaolu privately dubbed it an otaku’s paradise.

In no time, Luo Xiaotang had booted up the PS4 and grabbed the controller.

Her slender legs, sheathed in white thigh-highs, were crossed neatly. The hem of her white sundress and long hair spilled onto the floor—like a little princess from a storybook.

Yet her lazy, defeated expression radiated that oddly cute "fed-up" charm, reminiscent of Chiba Eri from AKB48 in Luo Xiaolu’s past life.

If anything, she was even more adorable.

Unlike Luo Xiaolu’s wild delinquent style, Luo Xiaotang embodied soft-girl aesthetics. Amazing how two sisters raised together could turn out so differently.

*Well… that part’s different too. She’s a loli—can’t be too picky.*

"Big Sister, what are you *doing*?!"

Catching Luo Xiaolu’s sidelong glance, faint smile, and silent sigh of admiration, Luo Xiaotang shrank back in horror.

"Ahem…"

Still adjusting to her new memories, Luo Xiaolu had spaced out.

"I’m going to cook."

She entered the kitchen. Utensils lined the counter.

In his past life, Luo Xiaolu had been a total straight-laced guy—cooking felt harder than calculus.

But now, recipes and techniques flowed effortlessly from the body’s muscle memory.

*So she wasn’t just all looks and no brains.*

She tugged the fridge door—it stuck.

She pulled harder.

*Snap!* The door gave way. Two eggs shot out, defying physics, straight for her face!

"Damn!"

In a flash, she arched backward ninety degrees, dodged the eggs, and caught them mid-air with a smooth side flip.

Breathing deeply, she set the eggs down and stared at her hands.

"Is this… a gang leader’s body?"

*So cool!!!*

Remembering how he’d once toyed with someone else’s "eggs" and crushed them instantly, Luo Xiaolu felt oddly at peace.

"Keep it simple."

She cracked eggs into a bowl for steamed eggs.

System text flickered before her:

**Warning: Steamed eggs do not align with the identity of a literary young lady.**

"?"

*What’s wrong with steamed eggs?! Don’t disrespect them, you bastard!*

For the first time, Luo Xiaolu felt like a total country bumpkin. She swapped the eggs for milk.

"So boxed milk’s a no-go too, right?"

"Correct."

She poured milk into a white glass.

"Now?"

"Acceptable."

Luo Xiaolu: "…"

*Yep. Literary girls are a masochistic breed.*

And she had to be the goddess-tier version—the kind they’d write poems about.

She took leftover lettuce, kept only the leaves, arranged them into a flower on a white plate, nestled a fried egg in the center, and added a slice of toast.

Simple. Elegant. Breakfast, done.

Two servings later, she carried them to the table.

"Xiaotang, breakfast!" she called like a homemaker.

"Let me finish this round," Luo Xiaotang replied—the words felt hauntingly familiar.

*Oh, I know this feeling.*

That desperate loyalty to teammates over family…

If she wrote a thesis, the title’d be: *"On Explaining to Parents Why This Game Can’t Pause (And Why It’s Totally Pointless)."*

So—

"Come. Eat. Now."

Rules were rules. As the new head of the house, being ignored after cooking felt disheartening.

Pouting her little pink lips, Luo Xiaotang set down the controller, climbed off the rug, and trudged to the table.

*Finally… the joy of being the older sister.*

"It’s *two p.m.* and you’re serving breakfast? Big Sister’s the worst!" Luo Xiaotang mumbled around a bite of toast.

"The one who woke up at one has no room to talk."

Luo Xiaolu flicked her forehead. The girl puffed out her round cheeks.

"I’ve been meaning to ask…" Luo Xiaotang said suddenly.

"Yeah?"

"Why no heavy dark makeup? Why’s your room spotless now? And… Big Sister just feels different today."

She set down her toast. Her azure eyes widened, pupils dilating with quiet intensity.

Utterly sincere.

Luo Xiaolu knew what she hoped for—they were sisters.

"Starting today, Big Sister is quitting the delinquent life," she said lightly.

*(Not that the system would’ve allowed it anyway.)*

Six hours earlier, she’d messaged the gang about quitting. Chaos erupted in the group chat. She powered off her phone and never looked back.

"So… you’ll never fight again?"

"Mm."

"Never come home late?"

"Mm."

"Never… ‘help out’ other guys outside anymore?"

"I NEVER DID THAT!!"

"Waaah—"

Luo Xiaotang leaped off her chair and burst into tears.

"What’s wrong?!" Luo Xiaolu panicked.

"You’re tired of playing… found someone to take you… you’re leaving Xiaotang…"

Luo Xiaolu: "…"

*Only an internet-raised loli would think that.*

"No! I just… decided to quit—"

*Mwah~*

A quick kiss landed on her cheek.

"?"

"Welcome home, Big Sister!"

Luo Xiaotang beamed, smile overflowing, radiant.

She’d waited for this day for so, so long.

Luo Xiaolu’s face flushed instantly.

*Back in my past life—as a full-grown man—this was my first kiss from a girl… and it’s my little sister?!*

A warm wave of emotion washed over her. She pulled Luo Xiaotang into a tight hug.

"From now on, Big Sister will take good care of you."
