“Bro Long, doesn’t it feel like An Han’s been acting kinda weird lately?”

Late at night, on the dorm balcony, Chen Junjie lit a cigarette and leaned against the railing as he asked Long Xing.

“Has he?”

Long Xing looked like some underworld thug, but he actually didn’t smoke at all. He even waved a hand in front of his nose in disgust, trying to fan away the smoke drifting over from Chen Junjie.

“At most, he just looks a bit better than before.” He thought for a moment, then answered casually, “What’s the problem?”

“The problem’s huge!”

Putting on a dead-serious face, Chen Junjie began analyzing, “Look. The girl you like looks a lot like An Han. She has this milky scent on her, and An Han also has this milky scent. She—”

“I already told you, stop messing with Xiao Han over my business.” Long Xing cut him off. “I’m not stupid. I can tell a guy from a girl, okay? Even if I couldn’t tell by looks, I’d know from the voice.”

Chen Junjie froze for a second, then turned his head away, clearly annoyed. “I still think it’s An Han.”

He didn’t know if it was because of An Han’s changes lately, or just his own bias against him, but ever since he first saw that secretly taken photo from Long Xing, he’d been convinced it was An Han in girls’ clothes.

But if it really was An Han crossdressing, then it made no sense why even the voice had no flaw.

“Hey! Are you two watching the movie or not? It’s about to start!”

An Han suddenly poked his head out from inside, holding onto the balcony door as he called out, “What are you talking about? All secretive and stuff.”

It was the middle of the night. Neither the balcony nor the dorm had the lights on. Long Xing turned back and looked at An Han by the light spilling over from the dorm building across from them.

The darkness blurred An Han’s facial outline, and for a moment, it made Long Xing instinctively think he was looking at a girl.

And one almost exactly the same as the girl he liked.

The same big eyes. The same high nose bridge. The same thin lips.

The only difference was that the girl’s eyes always carried shyness and caution, while An Han’s usually held playfulness and slyness.

“What are you staring at?” An Han got creeped out under that gaze. Afraid he’d give something away, he immediately turned his head and dodged it. “Weren’t we watching Marvel tonight? I finally found a 2K copy. Get inside already.”

He hurried back into the room, while Long Xing looked at Chen Junjie again.

“Pretty much the same, right? Especially at night. Aside from the hairstyle, they look almost identical.”

Long Xing hesitated, then pulled out his phone and checked the photo from that night again. After a long while, he let out a long breath, his face showing relief.

“Not the same.”

“Hm?”

“If An Han crossdressed, he’d definitely look better than her.”

“...”

The last time he met An Han in girls’ clothes, Long Xing hadn’t really looked carefully. He could only judge based on that photo.

And the result surprised even him. He actually thought An Han in girls’ clothes was prettier than the girl he’d fallen for at first sight.

Long Xing went back into the dorm first. Inside, An Han was sitting shoulder to shoulder with Wang Sheng, watching a movie on Wang Sheng’s 144Hz monitor.

The only light in the room came from the computer screen. Hearing movement, An Han turned and asked him, “Did Junjie say again that the girl you like is me crossdressing?”

“No idea what goes on in his head.”

“He just can’t stand me. He’s doing it on purpose to gross me out!” An Han denounced Chen Junjie with righteous indignation. “His conscience is rotten to the core!”

Long Xing just looked at him and smiled, until An Han guiltily turned his head away.

“You don’t think that was me crossdressing too, do you...?”

An Han poured the milk he bought into a glass, then deliberately spilled a little onto his pants.

He felt completely unsettled. He’d thought meeting Long Xing in girls’ clothes last time would solve everything, but now it seemed the more he did, the more mistakes he made. Instead, he’d exposed even more flaws.

At first, they’d just looked alike.

Now even more similarities had been discovered...

“No, no such thing.” Long Xing dragged over a stool and sat down beside Wang Sheng, crossing one leg as he looked at the movie on the screen.

Wang Sheng, meanwhile, clearly had no intention of getting involved in their mess. The guy was usually detached and low-key. Other than gaming, he had no hobbies in the dorm and barely any presence at all.

Someone knocked on the door. Then the dorm supervisor uncle pushed it open and walked in. “Roll call.”

He lifted his head, glanced around the dorm, and asked, “Where’s Chen Junjie?”

“On the balcony.”

Hearing the noise inside, Chen Junjie opened the balcony door and stuck his head in, waving at the dorm supervisor.

At that moment, An Han trotted right up to the man and asked with a shameless grin, “Uncle, is the school checking electrical appliances these days?”

“Haven’t heard anything.”

“Oh~ that’s good.”

It wasn’t that he was worried about their pots and pans getting confiscated. An Han was worried that if the school searched for illegal appliances, they might also dig out his girls’ clothes.

If that happened, the counselor, the student union, the dorm supervisor, and even department teachers and directors might all be there...

That image was too beautiful. An Han didn’t even dare imagine it.

As the man checked names off on the roster, he shot An Han a sidelong glance. “You lot are planning to cook hotpot in the dorm again, aren’t you?”

“As if~”

“You never learn! I’ve never seen students as troublesome as you!”

An Han let it go in one ear and out the other. He’d heard stuff like that since he was a kid. He was sick of it.

After watching the man leave, he sat back down in his chair and looked at the Marvel movie playing on the computer.

Honestly, he wasn’t interested in superhero movies at all. But Long Xing and Wang Sheng were both fans of that kind of thing.

Yawning, he stared blankly at the flashy effects on screen, but his mind was full of nothing except all the annoying crap from lately.

Ever since the system showed up, trouble had only been piling up.

An Han lowered his head and looked at his chest. It hadn’t gotten bigger, but the stinging pain these past few days still bothered him a lot. He was wondering if he should go to the hospital this weekend.

And the nipple outline was seriously annoying too. His roommates hadn’t noticed it yet, but he cared a lot.

[Task completed.

Reward obtained: Physique attribute +1.]

The sudden system interface made An Han freeze for a moment. Then a message from Wu Dongming popped up on his phone.

“I actually rented a girlfriend for a day. This is insane.”

“You’re not needed for tomorrow anymore! Get lost!”

An Han glanced at Wu Dongming’s two messages, but his mood only grew more uneasy.

His physique attribute was now at two.

So what exactly was this thing pushing him toward? Eight-pack abs, or big boobs and long legs? By now, there should be some sign.

“Not watching anymore?” Long Xing suddenly heard the sound of a chair moving beside him. He looked up and saw An Han’s slender back heading toward the balcony.

“I’m gonna take a shower.”

Long Xing scratched his head, still staring at that backlit silhouette.

Why did An Han’s waist suddenly seem a lot slimmer?

From behind, he looked completely graceful, like a girl. His frame was small and delicate, with none of a man’s shape to it at all.

He suddenly felt that if the girl he liked really was An Han crossdressing... maybe that wouldn’t be so bad?

“What’re you thinking about?” Chen Junjie came over, wearing a sleazy grin.

“Xiao Han... is getting cuter and cuter.”
