I couldn’t expel the Fox Demon from my body—but someone might: my Class Rep Hanhan. I wondered how her research went yesterday. Could she help drive out the Fox Demon inside me?
“Looks like… I have to go to school. But how can I possibly go out looking like this?”
I didn’t have Class Rep Hanhan’s number or address. To find her, I had to go—right now! Or the Fox Demon might wake up soon.
But when I saw my reflection—a cute fox girl—I felt the plan was utterly foolish. Still, no other choice.
“Time for a disguise.”
After stripping down, I quietly gazed at my jade-white body for a moment, then let out a soft sigh. I pulled all the winter clothes from the wardrobe. To hide my shrunken frame, I forced myself into three sweaters. But what about below? A long, fluffy tail sprouted from my tailbone.
No choice. I cut a hole in my underwear and thermal pants. Next: wrap the tail around my waist. Simple? Not at all.
“This thing’s so slippery. Won’t stay put!”
Newly grown, I couldn’t control it. Rope? Useless—the fluffy, silky fur let it slip out every time.
Fine. Time for the big guns: duct tape!
“Heh heh. Let’s see you slip now!”
I wrapped the tape coil by coil from the base. The tail was thin—bone faintly felt beneath—but looked thick thanks to the soft, snow-white fur, like a giant calligraphy brush.
Tightly bound, the fur compressed. Brush became pencil. Now it resembled a monkey’s tail, coiled neatly at my waist. Surprisingly pretty.
“Mmm… A little uncomfortable.”
Standing up, my legs turned to jelly. The constrained tail brought indescribable discomfort—and a strange hint of stimulation. No wonder animals hate tail-pulling.
I pulled on loose pants, capped with a baseball cap, then tugged the hoodie over it to hide white hair and fox ears.
Last: my face. Hardest part. Mask on, scarf wrapped tight to conceal feminine features.
Thankfully, my eyes stayed dark brown—just slightly larger, brighter.
“Yosh! Disguise complete!”
I nodded at the mirror: a mysterious figure, only eyes visible, gender unreadable. The Fox Demon’s traits were flawlessly hidden. As long as nothing went wrong, I’d stay undetected.
“Class Rep Hanhan! My fate rests on you.” After several deep breaths, I steeled myself and stepped out.
The trip was uneventful—except for the stares. Wearing winter gear in summer drew more attention than my cross-dressing days. Good grief.
“Hello? Hello? Is this 911? Suspicious person on [Street]—looks like a disguised fugitive, please…”
My sharp hearing caught it. Panicked, I bolted.
“Hello?! Send units fast! The suspect fled at 80 mph!”
The caller watched me vanish over the horizon, jaw nearly on the floor. He blurted it out—but the dispatcher scoffed.
“Sir, *80 mph*? You’re joking. Officers’ll wait patiently for him to crash into a tree. Bye… *beep beep beep*…”
No one noticed the bundled-up weirdo anymore. Just a black blur zipping past. Too stunned to film, they’d later spread baseless rumors online:
*SHOCKING: Mysterious Creature Spotted in [City]—Leaving Women in Tears, Men Speechless.*
I never meant to cause this. Just puzzled—I ran fast… and sensed it wasn’t even my limit. With wings? I might’ve flown.
