"Such a good girl~"
Lulu’s face lit up after receiving her childhood friend Lily’s promise. She gently patted Lily’s head, eyes crinkling into warm crescents, gaze soft as still water.
Lily sat quietly, letting Lulu stroke her hair. She knew keeping Lulu happy mattered most right now—even if her hair ended up tousled like a bird’s nest, it meant nothing.
Lulu wasn’t sure how sincere Lily’s promise really was. After all, Lily had lied before. That betrayal left Lulu heartbroken and furious—and she’d never fully trust those words again.
Yet… as long as Lily acted obedient now, that was enough.
Lulu’s heart was so easily satisfied. She already had everything she wanted. If Lily stayed by her side willingly, Lulu would move heaven and earth for her—even pluck stars from the sky without hesitation.
Through long role-play, Lulu had unraveled herself—and the core logic of a possessive yandere.
Such yanderes drown in insecurity. The moment their loved one slips beyond reach, panic sets in. For Lulu, with role-play points constantly peaking, the symptoms ran deep.
Even shopping while Lily was unconscious, Lulu’s mind raced: *What if she wakes early?* Worry clung until she stepped back home.
A yandere’s danger lies in losing control during episodes—hurting the very person they love. But the root is always insecurity. Soothe that, and they become the gentlest, most devoted partner imaginable.
"Lily, I know you’re still scared… but please don’t worry," Lulu murmured, fingers softly tracing Lily’s hair.
"Earlier, I was harsh—but only because you tried to run. That crosses my line. I couldn’t control myself then… so I punished you."
"But if you promise to stay, to listen, to never think of escaping… I will *never* hurt you. I swear."
"So… will you be good for me, Lily?"
Her tender yet piercing gaze locked onto Lily’s face.
A yandere’s daily love trial. Silly to others—but vital to Lulu. She waited, breath held, craving Lily’s reply.
"...Mm." Lily hesitated two seconds, then nodded slightly.
"Just 'mm' isn’t enough~" Lulu pouted, voice playfully stern. "Say it properly: *'I’ll be a good girl and listen to Lulu. If I lie, I’m a puppy.'* One hundred times!"
Lily’s face twisted into a grimace. "Lulu… can it be fewer…?"
"No. Exactly one hundred. Not one more, not one less."
Helplessness flickered in Lily’s eyes. She took a shaky breath and began, cheeks tinged with shame.
She’d repeated far worse before. At least this phrase wasn’t as degrading—though the count stayed cruelly high.
A broken window effect: once the boundary shattered, crossing it again felt trivial.
"...I’ll be a good girl and listen to Lulu. If I lie, I’m a puppy..."
"I’ll be a good girl and listen to Lulu. If I lie, I’m a puppy."
"I’LL BE A GOOD GIRL AND LISTEN TO LULU. IF I LIE, I’M A PUPPY!"
Unconsciously, Lily poured her stifled emotions into the words, voice rising with each repetition.
Lulu didn’t mind. As long as Lily obeyed, the *how* didn’t matter.
She just needed to hear it—again and again—to feel that strange, sweet satisfaction.
...
Again and again, Lily’s throat went dry.
Again and again, Lulu watched, chin in hand, smiling softly.
When the hundredth ended, Lulu handed her a drink. "Since you said it one hundred times… I’ll believe you again. *Reluctantly*."
She leaned in, pressing a light kiss to Lily’s cheek. "No matter what, Lily—I still love you. Always have. Always will."
Lily, used to these tender declarations, nestled into Lulu’s arms and sipped the drink. Then, boldness flickering:
"Lulu… how did you *know* I wanted to run?"
A question that haunted her. Why had Lulu’s attitude flipped so suddenly?
Lulu didn’t flinch. "When I talked about moving to Black Rose City… you didn’t react at all."
Lily froze. "Really?"
"Of course." Lulu’s smile deepened. "If you cared, you’d share opinions—like when you read shoujo manga. But today? Silence."
Her index finger traced Lily’s neck, slow and feather-light.
"That made me wonder… was the Lily holding my hand… *lying*?"
Lily swallowed hard. Fear shimmered in her eyes.
Truth was, this was pure hindsight. Last loop, love-struck Lulu noticed *nothing*. But framed by outcome? It sounded chillingly plausible.
And Lily had no idea about Lulu’s save-scumming cheat. To her, Lulu had *seen* it all…
And that was terrifying.
