As the old saying goes, three women make a play—but with five seated at this table? The drama was about to hit legendary levels.

Around a large round table, Liang Sheng was sandwiched between Song An’an and Gu Yuqi. Across from her sat Su Ze, with Lu Ziqing between him and Gu Yuqi. An Hua, cool and aloof, sat between Su Ze and Song An’an. The air hung thick with subtle tension.

Liang Sheng ignored it all. Told to order by the young mistress, she snatched the menu with glee, circling dish after dish—nearly all meat, zero veggies.

When food arrived, she dove in shamelessly, zero elegance. Song An’an piled her plate; Gu Yuqi, refusing to be outdone, kept adding more. Liang Sheng’s bowl became a tiny mountain, yet they acted like they saw nothing.

*Crunch.* Lu Ziqing gnawed her chopsticks fiercely, as if trying to snap them. *Never bringing them out again. So annoying.* She slammed them down, baffled by her own frustration.

Liang Sheng? Mouth stuffed full, munching and slurping like a happy little piglet.

In the end, only she ate her fill. Song An’an and Gu Yuqi served nonstop. Lu Ziqing was rage-full. Su Ze stared blankly at his phone. An Hua, feeling unwell, barely touched her food. All that wasted feast made Liang Sheng wince.

Back at the hotel, Dong Yue assigned rooms—two per room. Predictably, Lu Ziqing shared with Liang Sheng. Not fate. Her choice.

Before they’d even sat down, someone yelled, “Truth or Dare!” and dragged them to another room.

*Should I get Senior Gu Yuqi too?* Liang Sheng hesitated. *No. She ignored me this morning surrounded by beauties. Going now? Too uncool.* Pride won. She wanted to see her—but wouldn’t admit it.

“I’ll find Song An’an,” Liang Sheng muttered. She just couldn’t relax around these seven classmates.

“No need,” said a bespectacled guy, adjusting his glasses. “We already called her.”

“Huh?” Liang Sheng blinked. Song An’an wasn’t even in their class!

A short-haired girl explained, voice faltering at the end: “You know… that pink-haired girl who clings to you? She said to call her for any class events. Just… helping out?”

Truthful—except for the shaky “helping.” They’d been bribed (with *hentai games*, strictly minors-off-limits) to “monitor” Liang Sheng. Again.

Song An’an bounced in, leaping toward Liang Sheng. Then—a flash at the door. Gu Yuqi.

Liang Sheng shot her classmates a suspicious look. They guiltily looked away. *Sold out. Again.*

She huffed, sat straight, and deliberately avoided Gu Yuqi. Gu Yuqi, confused but sulky, took the seat opposite, chin propped, watching her.

Think that’s all? Nope.

*Creak.* The door opened. Everyone turned.

A fluffy head peeked in, tilted in confusion. Spotting the crowd, she jolted—blushing.

*Senior An Hua?! Again?!* Liang Sheng glanced at classmates. *You sold me out too?!*

They waved hands, shook heads—*this time, innocent*.

An Hua had been wandering. Saw Song An’an skip upstairs. Then Gu Yuqi hurry after. Curiosity won. She peeked… and got caught.

“I… was just passing by,” An Hua stammered, face red, trying to retreat.

“Don’t go, Senior An Hua! Join us!” Liang Sheng called, grinning mischievously.

*Junior Liang Sheng called me!* A flutter surged in An Hua’s chest. Mouth moved before brain: “Um… okay.”

Trapped, she shuffled reluctantly to the table.

Rules were simple: roll dice. Lowest number picks Truth or Dare, then draws a card. (Refuse Truth? Swap to Dare.)

*Ugh. Romance novel cliché,* Liang Sheng thought. *Bunch of kids. Fine. I’ll play. I’m the mature one.*

“NOOOO!” She ruffled her hair. *Why me first?!* She glared at classmates. (Famous last words.)

“Truth or Dare?” bespectacled guy asked.

“U-um… Truth,” she mumbled.

“Draw a card.” A long-haired girl fanned out identical-backed cards. Liang Sheng grabbed one at random.

Crowded eyes scanned it. Then—“Ooooh~!” Teasing erupted.

*Question: Is there someone here you secretly like?*

Liang Sheng tilted her head, feigning thought. Four girls held their breath.

She covered her face, squeezed eyes shut. “Y-yes… there is!”

Hearts lifted—then sank. *Who?!*

Lu Ziqing and An Hua didn’t like her, yet hated the idea of her naming someone else. Gu Yuqi felt a sharp, confusing possessiveness.

Five voices snapped: “WHO?!” Including Su Ze—silent till now, jaw tight.

“Well…” Liang Sheng hid a smirk, stalling. Pinches rained on her arms.

“ALRIGHT!” she fake-snarled. “I’ll tell you!”

Everyone leaned in.

“Actually…” Pause.

Four girls, one guy—breath held.

“Aww, so embarrassing~” She covered her face again.

“SPIT IT OUT!” Short-haired girl grabbed her shoulders, shaking hard.

“ACK—cough! Wait! I’m shy!” Liang Sheng pried her off.

“TELL US!”

“I… I…”

*Hehe. Just say it.*

“I like someone… *gorgeous*.” Girls puffed chests. *Me!*

“*Top of the class*…” Song An’an slumped, eyes glistening.

“*Sincere*…” An Hua looked down.

“*Not willfully difficult*…” Lu Ziqing huffed, turning away.

“*And incredibly handsome*…” Gu Yuqi’s eyes sparkled. *It’s me!*

“Silly~ It’s *me*!” Liang Sheng ducked her head, giggling shyly. “Don’t fall for someone this amazing~”

Silence.

Then—“BWHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

Laughter exploded. People wheezed, pounded chests, hiccuped.

*What’s so funny?!* Liang Sheng alone stayed stone-faced. *I’m stating facts!*

“You… you’re SO full of yourself!” short-haired girl gasped between laughs.

“How?! I’m being *objective*! Do you know what that means?!”

More roaring laughter. Someone wheezed, “You silly goose!”

Liang Sheng froze. *Jealous? Since when were you better than me?!*

*Ding~* Affection Level Increased.

Lu Ziqing’s Affection for Liang Sheng: 75

Song An’an’s Affection for Liang Sheng: 100+
