“Hurry… me…”

In the dead of night, the moon’s silvery-gray light streamed through the window. Drifting snowflakes danced within its glow, settling like whispers on the cheeks of two figures entwined in sleep.

Yet somehow, Zila had reverted to her original form. Her expression flickered with unease as faint, mumbled dream-words escaped her lips—indistinct, yet sweet and gentle as a nightingale’s song echoing through a mountain spring. Who could say what dream-voice stirs the heart most? Only those hearing it *right now* would know.

“Me… me… Aah!”

The lavender-haired loli jolted awake with a gasp, sitting bolt upright. She scanned the room—*her* room—and let out a shaky breath, hand resting on her chest, still rising and falling slightly.

Just moments ago, the illusory violet space had shattered into absolute blackness. Falling endlessly into that void, all light gone… she’d been certain she’d die.

Her palm pressed against her chest felt oddly soft—like cradling a pet rabbit. She glanced down.

“Eep! When did I change back?!”

She wore an oversized men’s cotton coat, one shoulder bare. Yet one spot fit *perfectly*—the chest area, noticeably taut. On Zila’s petite frame, the adult garment wasn’t unflattering. Moonlight glinting off the full-length mirror revealed an otherworldly charm. Mesmerized by her own reflection, she was snapped back by a loud *rumble rumble*.

“So hungry~” Her voice came out hoarse and tiny. She pressed a hand to her sunken belly—utterly empty.

*Ugh. Magic drain again? From this morning’s trial against Mo Feng… using Fist-to-Blade Technique: Third Form, Hong Yang…*

She was hungrier than last time. Thankfully, no loss of control—*yet*. But if she didn’t eat soon…

*Forage? At this hour? In human territory? What if—*

She buried herself under the covers, pillow smothering her head, trying to sleep the hunger away.

*Rumble rumble~*

“Waaah! I’m *sooo* hungry, sniff~” Zila shot upright, cross-legged on the bed, frantically scratching her messy hair.

Succubus Curse hunger demanded vital energy. The magic within it dictated satisfaction and flavor. Zila knew this much.

Her meter-long purple tail—heart-shaped tip peeking from the quilt—twitched faster, wider with rising agitation. *Only option… the vampire girl beside me.*

But her appetite… draining Tongxi all night wouldn’t be enough. And overfeeding could kill her.

Tempted. Hesitant. Teeth aching with craving.

She grabbed her tail, nibbling the heart-tip.

*Mmm!* The moment it touched her tongue—explosive sweetness flooded her throat.

“Mmm! A Succubus Curse’s tail is *this* sweet?! Is it skin scent or—?” Still clueless about her own nature, Zila couldn’t stop. Like a girl sucking a lollipop, she nibbled harder. Sweeter than purest honey—yet it only sharpened her hunger.

Her gaze locked onto the silver-haired loli beside her.

“What do I do?! What *can* I do?!”

She’d seen succubi drain humans dry before. *What if Tongxi’s delicious… but I hurt her?*

*Rumble rumble~*

“Nngh… I can’t… *sniff*…”

Rolling her eyes, corn-kernel tears welling, she nibbled her tail pitifully.

Defeated.

Zila burrowed under the quilt. A small lump inched toward Tongxi.

From foot to head of the bed—she reached the sleeping silver-haired girl. Longing eyes fixed on her. Hunger drove every thought.

“Sorry, Tongxi… I really can’t hold back. I’m sorry.”

She licked her lips, leaned down.

*Wow! So sweet! Tasty!*

Like a jolt of energy, she sat up straight, cupping her flushed cheeks. “Mmm!”

*Mmph!*

Tongxi jolted awake. Heterochromatic eyes—violet and gold—stared blankly down at her.

As Blood Clan, she saw clearly in darkness. But her crimson eyes now held only fear.

*A strange Succubus Curse… staring…* She glanced sideways—Ling Yu was gone.

Her last safety vanished. Trauma surged. She burst into sobs. “Waaah!”

Zila’s waist went limp. She collapsed onto Tongxi, nuzzling into her chest, arms tight.

“Eep! My little Tongxi~ I *like* you!”

Tongxi thrashed—punching, kicking—but her strength had vanished. Helpless.

Her flailing hands snagged two hard protrusions.

“Don’t touch my horns!” Zila recoiled, scrambling back, clutching her head. “Waaah! No grabbing! It tickles! *Sniff~*"

The quilt fell away. In the dim light, Tongxi saw it clearly: curved black horns with purple patterns. A trembling, wilted heart-shaped tail. *Demon.*

Brief relief—*she’s demon too*—then sharp dread.

Zila’s expression twisted. Madness flickered in her shadowed eyes, eerie purple light gleaming—like a starved wolf spotting prey.

“Tongxi… let me kiss you~ I’m *so* hungry!”

She pounced.

Tongxi leaped off the bed, tumbling to the floor. Backed against the wall. Trapped. Silent screams choked in her throat.

*Waaah~*

Zila landed squarely on her “prey,” straddling her, crawling closer. Palms settled softly on Tongxi’s shoulders. Strangely, Zila’s eyes held even deeper desperation.

“Please, Tongxi… I’m *sooo* hungry… *sniff*…”

Before Tongxi could react—lips met.

A faint pull between them.

Tongxi’s consciousness faded. She slumped into sleep.
