43 Can You Even Handle It?

Su Yue was awakened by the aroma of beef offal soup. The steaming meaty scent drifted through the door, swirling around the Little Vampire’s nose. Still half-asleep, she crawled out of bed, pushed the door open—and there it was: a steaming bowl of beef offal soup waiting on the dining table.

At this very moment, it felt just like that time long ago—strangely, hauntingly familiar to Su Yue.

She plopped excitedly into her chair and murmured reverently toward the tempting bowl: “Thank you, nature, for this bounty!”

“Bounty of nature? I bought it,” Chen Yan said, stepping out of the kitchen with a coffee mug. He glanced at Su Yue’s solemn face and sighed inwardly.

Today, Su Yue wore the white pajamas he’d given her last night, fluffy black slippers on her bare feet—no socks, apparently. Her delicate pink ankles peeked out, utterly charming. Her silver-white hair was surprisingly neat for just waking up, except for one stubborn ahoge sticking straight up, adding a hint of morning laziness to her charm.

Chen Yan nodded in quiet satisfaction. Even fresh out of bed, his Little Vampire was unbearably cute.

Su Yue flashed him a grin, baring two tiny fangs in warning: don’t you dare challenge her “bounty of nature” line. Or else the Little Vampire’s fangs wouldn’t stay vegetarian.

Chen Yan just shook his head helplessly, sat across from her with his coffee, and began eating his own portion.

Seeing him so obedient, Su Yue happily dug into her meaty spoils.

*Knock, knock, knock.*

“Little Su Yue!”

Lucifer’s voice rang from outside. Su Yue glanced at the door, then at her soup, and reluctantly left the table to open it.

Lucifer stood there in a sailor uniform, radiating pure genki energy.

“Wow—Pajama Su Yue!” she squealed like she’d just pulled a legendary card, then lunged into a hug.

“Alright, alright, keep it down—it’s early,” Su Yue said with a tired smile. She hugged Fei back and gently patted her shoulder. She was used to this.

Chen Yan, still at the table, wore a faintly envious look.

“Little Su Yue, you didn’t forget our after-school plan, right~?” Lucifer nuzzled Su Yue’s cheek.

“Mm, I’ll wait. You’re back at six?”

“Nope! For you, I’m skipping club today—I’ll be here at three!” Lucifer released her, gripped her shoulders, beaming.

“Well… okay. I’ll wait.”

*She just couldn’t crush Fei’s excitement.*

“Yay! Bye-bye, Little Su Yue! Off to school!” Lucifer skipped away like a joyful puppy.

“Bye…” Su Yue closed the door.

Back at her half-finished soup, Su Yue’s drowsiness had vanished. *Was that the power of a genki girl?* When she first met Fei, she’d been soft and slow-paced—just like Sister Lin You.

“Wait… Maybe she was just imitating Sister Lin You back then,” Su Yue mused.

“Lin You?”

“Fei’s master. A beautiful, gentle older sister,” Su Yue said, waving her chopsticks.

“Oh.”

“What? Not interested in the lovely older sister next door?” Su Yue gaped at his flat reaction.

“Not interested,” Chen Yan shrugged. *Only you.*

“Hiss… So terrifying,” Su Yue gasped.

Back in her sect days, a junior sister with that gentle older-sister aura moved into the neighboring cave. So respectful, calling her “Senior Brother,” “Little Brother Su Yue”—each word made her heart flutter, nearly shattering her Dao heart. But she lacked courage. Never even held her hand.

That junior sister later died in a secret realm skirmish. The cave stayed empty for centuries… until a crude, foot-scratching brute moved in.

That trial might’ve been Su Yue’s most dangerous on the immortal path. Only her virgin heart saved her. Without it, the tribulation of worldly desires might’ve blocked her from becoming the Immortal Sovereign.

“Art thou a man?” Su Yue whispered in disbelief. How could a mortal resist such charm?

“?”

Chen Yan offered a stiff smile, silently vowing to show this arrogant Little Vampire exactly what kind of man he was.

“Sigh… Looks like he’s a lost cause.”

*Could any normal man take that?*

“You… incapable? No shame! I have a miraculous prescription. You’re clearly destined—I’ll bestow it. Fetch paper and brush!” Kind-hearted Su Yue, lost in cultivation memories, slipped back into immortal-master mode.

Chen Yan stepped close, a “kind” smile on his face.

“W-why stare like that? Where’s the paper?!” Su Yue shrank under his shadow, dread creeping in.

“Didn’t you want proof of whether I’m ‘capable’?” Chen Yan’s voice dropped, slow and sharp.

“Y-you stay back!”

On the living room sofa, Su Yue was pinned across Chen Yan’s lap. Her white sleep pants yanked down, revealing soft pink-and-white underwear.

“Oh? So Little Su Yue likes this style. Now I get what that horned doctor meant.”

“P-pervert! What are you doing?!”

She tried covering herself, but Chen Yan swiftly trapped the Vampire Princess’s restless hands—both wrists locked in one firm grip.

“Bad girls who misbehave pay the price. Some words shouldn’t be said. Understand?”

“I didn’t lie! Incapable is incapable—why deny it? Ah!” She squirmed.

*Smack.*

“Admit it?”

“Y-you dare…!”

*Smack.*

“Hit me again, I dare you!”

*Smack.*

“Disrespecting your immortal master!”

*Smack.*

“Don’t sleep too deeply tonight…”

*Smack. Smack.*

“Ow… hurts… lighter…”

*Smack.*

Chen Yan was an emotionless rhythm—hand rising, falling—each spank firm, silent, relentless.

Tears welled in Su Yue’s eyes as she sobbed threats between smacks.

Three minutes later:

“Waaah… I’m sorry… stop… please… waaah…”

After who knew how many spanks, the Little Vampire finally broke.
