An Interesting Game?
Chang’an tilted his head slightly.
Sunlight, soft as gauze, draped over their noses, lips, and shoulders as their eyes met.
Both felt a natural, instinctive urge.
If Chang’an were a photographer, he’d capture this moment with a telephoto lens—freezing on the girl’s crimson lips, glistening faintly as she gently bit and released them.
His heartbeat might have quickened.
Because the room held only them.
Because the light fell tender and warm.
Because of her fresh, youthful face.
Because of their awkward position.
“Ahem… Turn around, Xiaoxian,” Ye Chang’an said, trying to sound stern like an older brother.
She’d been sitting properly on his lap—knees tucked inward, cheeks flushed pink with shyness. Bare feet pointed down, toes brushing the floor, icy cold. The polished floor reflected the delicate whiteness and slender lines of her legs, clad in white thigh-high socks.
The moment Shi Xia left, Xiaoxian grew restless. She turned her upper body first, then shifted her lower half—swiveling from facing away to facing Chang’an directly.
Kneeling on the chair, she rose just enough for their eyes to meet.
If Chang’an’s authority had ever worked before, five years had changed that. Shi Xia had grown bold. And Xiaoxian? No longer the obedient little girl.
A tipsy smile curled her lips as she spread her legs just outside his.
“And if I say… no? Older Brother?”
She settled back down, kneeling on his lap, facing him. Hands resting lightly on his shoulders for balance—a soft, instinctive embrace.
If Xiaoxian weren’t his little sister, the scene would’ve mirrored a fox spirit’s seduction from an ancient scroll.
The only mismatch? Her petite, doll-like frame. Cheeks bloomed with the soft pink of spring peach blossoms—juicy, blushing, impossibly sweet. Youthful. Lovely.
“Daring to tease your older brother…” Chang’an broke the tension with a mischievous grin. His hands had already slipped under her arms. Then—
“Hahaha… Ah! Older Brother, stop! Hahaha! Don’t tickle me… Waa, you’re such a meanie… Hahaha!”
Laughing until breathless, she curled into a tiny bundle in his arms. Pouting, she weakly thumped his chest—more cuddle than protest.
“You’re the worst, Older Brother…” Cheeks flushed crimson, nestled against his chest, she looked as enchanting as a blooming peach blossom.
Today’s outfit had a woodland vibe: white thigh-high socks, tiny khaki platform shoes (a cute attempt at height that only highlighted her petite charm). A loose hoodie-style top draped over girls’ shorts underneath—almost like she wore nothing below.
Exhausted from play, Xiaoxian leaned against him. Her mischievous eyes flicked between her brother and the screen, cat-like.
Her job was tough—exhausting, even. But near her brother? All fatigue melted away.
Anywhere with him—even lazing in the bedroom—was the Ye Clan’s little princess’s perfect vacation.
Chang’an stayed glued to his game, leaving Xiaoxian feeling a tad lonely. So her tiny hands got mischievous.
“This spot on Older Brother is so hard…”
“Ahem—don’t touch. That’s… for men only.”
“Mmm… It pulses! So cool!”
“Hmph~”
“Older Brother didn’t have this before…”
“I did! Just smaller back then.”
“Now it’s bigger…”
“Alright, alright—stop playing with your brother’s Adam’s apple, you little rascal.”
“I’m already sixteen!”
Chang’an’s gaze drifted to her figure. Her face burned crimson, flustered, frozen.
She never expected him to chuckle.
That laugh broke her. Tears welled. “Older Brother, you’re bullying me!” She pounded his chest and shoulders.
“You’re so unfair!”
“I didn’t!”
“Don’t deny it! You’ve been laughing at me this whole time!”
