Other Regions of the Bloodsoul Domain
Players who set foot in other corners of the Bloodsoul Domain each found their own rewards.
Some accidentally encountered the Bloodkin and were turned into low-level Bloodkin—temporarily stronger than average players.
But over time, their power would fade. These low-level Bloodkin were early-game grunts: strong against fresh players, yet destined to become cannon fodder.
To break free, players faced two choices: delete their account and restart, or pay the Church a hefty sum for purification.
With the game just launched, deletion was the quickest path. Many players chose it; others simply left for greener pastures.
For now, the Bloodsoul Domain held little appeal—except for die-hard vampire fans.
Beast-girls in the Beastfolk Metropolis or elves in Elysian Haven were far more tempting.
“How nice… I wish I could go pet those cute beast-girls. Elves would be fine too!”
After a short rest, Tang glanced at the forum. *Why did I pick such a desolate spot? Total blunder.*
Regret was useless now. She’d already gathered several powerful gear pieces.
To prevent abuse, the system limited account resets: first deletion free, second costing 10,000 credits, rising by 10,000 each time up to a 100,000 cap.
“Whatever. Keep exploring. Hmph—if I just treat monsters like players, isn’t this basically PVP?”
That’s how Tang psyched herself up. She was the undisputed PVP goddess. Even in a full-dive game, she was a genius player, undefeated across the land!
Pressing onward, she deliberately avoided roaming monsters for efficiency.
“I wonder how *that guy* is doing… He must be raking in loot, right?”
The “guy” she murmured about was Qin Yu. With his experience, his haul had to be impressive.
But wait—the game had no beta. How could a veteran like him exist at launch? An insider?
Puzzled, Tang pushed forward.
Meanwhile, Qin Yu and Silver Crimson Snow headed to their next destination.
Key person secured. Core territory building acquired. Potential main army identified. Only resources and the pivotal item for lordship remained.
The Bloodsoul Domain’s sky hung forever crimson—time impossible to gauge by eye.
Three in-game days had passed; merely one in reality.
“Servant, aren’t you tired?” Silver Crimson Snow asked—not from concern, but duty. A dead servant was useless. And poor health reportedly spoiled blood’s flavor.
“Tired?”
A full real-world day had passed, yet Qin Yu used a game pod. Month-long sessions? No fatigue.
“Hmm… As a human, shouldn’t you rest?”
“You mention it now…” Qin Yu feigned a yawn. “Ha~aa~… Sleepy, Little Snow. Can I borrow your coffin for a nap?”
“Servant! You dare use your master’s Fated Artifact as a bed?” Silver Crimson Snow bristled.
Qin Yu shrugged. “What’s the harm? You sleep in it all the time. Soundproof, auto-adjusts temperature and humidity…”
He casually listed the Bloodwood Coffin’s everyday perks. Silver Crimson Snow froze.
“How do you know so much about me and my Fated Artifact…?”
*How?* Clenching her fists, she weighed lending it—then nailing him shut once asleep and dumping the coffin in a lake.
“Of course I do~”
Truth was, the yawn was faked—to tease her.
He knew the coffin well. In his past life, he’d slept in it. More comfortable than most beds. Perfect for one.
Though… most nights back then, he and Silver Crimson Snow had squeezed in together.
“But enough joking. Time for business.”
Shaking off the act, Qin Yu focused. Rest was a luxury now. Finish first, rest later.
They reached the next site. Silver Crimson Snow didn’t even turn her head. “So… this garbage dump is your destination?”
Before them sprawled a colossal dumping ground, piled high with millions of discarded items.
Level 2–3 monsters roamed too, occasionally gnawing trash to stave off hunger.
Why come here?
Simple: hidden treasures lay buried. Qin Yu remembered—later, major guilds would scavenge this very spot.
Mountains of construction resources. And one rare item… which guilds shattered fighting over, breaking a critical questline.
“This time, I won’t hold back.”
He’d secure the item and every resource usable for his territory.
“If you want to scavenge trash, do it yourself, servant.”
Silver Crimson Snow wouldn’t stoop to it.
“Fine, fine. But my dear Little Snow… handle the monsters that might hurt me?”
“No problem.”
Monster clearance? She agreed instantly. Qin Yu sprang into action.
No one guessed one of the Bloodsoul Domain’s greatest treasures hid in this dump.
Loot:
[Timber x100,000!]
[Ore x80,000!]
[Gold Coins x10,000!]
[Damaged Magic Scroll x5!]
…
Qin Yu looted until his 100-cubic-meter inventory maxed out. Thankfully, building resources auto-compressed—capped at 100,000 units each. Without compression, space would’ve run out fast.
Silver Crimson Snow cleared every monster. Level 2–3 foes stood no chance against her Level 7 might.
“How filthy… Some of this is hundreds, even thousands of years old…” She grimaced, deeply unsettled.
“Hm?”
Something in the trash caught her eye. In a flash, she teleported over…
