Chapter 6: Yandere Is a Disease

To be honest, my mind was a mess right now.

And what shocked even me was this—

I actually started to believe Ye Xiao Xian a little.

After all, she not only knew my name and Senior’s name, she even knew the exact words I used when I first tried to chat Senior up. That kind of private memory... there was no way Senior and I would’ve told anyone else.

But if that person was our own daughter, then it would make perfect sense. Like, reminiscing to your daughter about stories from your youth and all that.

I did my best to calm myself down. No way, no way. Senior and I had only just met. Even if I became a committee member in the student council office, that still didn’t mean we’d get to see each other every day. So how could we possibly go through dating, marriage, and even... having a child?

Not to mention Xiao Xian was already this big. And she was a total brat. Didn’t she know waving a knife around was dangerous?!

“Stop lying already. I’m gonna get mad, you know.” I glared at Xiao Xian. I had no idea where she got Senior’s information from, but none of that changed the fact that she was still a brat.

Brats needed discipline.

If one beating didn’t fix it, then two would.

“I’m not...” Xiao Xian looked utterly wronged.

“Daddy’s the worst! I hate Daddy the most!”

And just like that, she burst into tears again.

Hey, hey, don’t get too deep into the role here!

Or... was everything she said actually true?

Because the way tears streamed down Xiao Xian’s face really didn’t look fake. If anything, she looked exactly like someone who’d been misunderstood and felt deeply wronged.

“Unless you came from the future, there’s no way you could be my daughter. So stop messing around,” I said sternly. After all, stuff like time machines couldn’t possibly exist. The Xiao Xian in front of me was just an undisciplined brat, that was all.

But for some reason, the moment she heard that, Xiao Xian seemed to remember something. Then she started fumbling all over herself, searching in a panic, and finally pulled out a small object.

“Look!” She raised her little hand high and pointed it right in front of me, biting her lip.

It was a key.

It looked old, too. There was even rust on it.

But the moment I saw that key, I couldn’t say a word.

Then I pulled out the house key I always carried with me.

I compared the two keys...

They were exactly the same...

How was that possible?!

I’d always kept my house key safe. There was no chance it had been lost or stolen. And on top of that, the marks of age on her key, the wear left by time, didn’t look fake either.

The fact that Xiao Xian had this key also answered, from another angle, how she had gotten into my house.

Which meant only one final question remained.

Had this key just appeared in Xiao Xian’s hand out of thin air?

If not...

Then could it really be that Xiao Xian had brought it back from the future...?

“Mom misses Dad so much... but Dad’s awful. He found a new woman outside, and he always makes Mom cry... Dad hasn’t come home to see Mom in a long, long time... He even wants to divorce Mom...”

“I... I hate you! You made Mom suffer so much... So I wanted to come back to before Dad and Mom fell in love... Since Dad can’t become something that belongs to me and Mom... then I might as well kill him!”

It was as if flames suddenly ignited in Xiao Xian’s eyes. Her dark red pupils turned even more bewitching.

—Thump!

—“Ow! That hurts!”

Five minutes later, I finally managed to calm myself down again.

Beside me was Xiao Xian, who had once again been struck by my anti-brat Noble Phantasm, the Secret Butt-Spanking Technique. Her face was bright red as she clutched her butt and whimpered softly.

To be honest, I already believed her a little.

But.

Yandere is a disease.

And it needs treatment early.
