Three days passed in a flash. During this time, Bai Ling stayed by Bai Ting’s side. Of course, this also gave Bai Ting more opportunities to "train" her.

Bai Ling hated being separated from family, especially from Bai Ting, whom she deeply loved. Yet she respected Bai Ting’s decision. She wanted to follow her, but her age fell short. Undeterred, she vowed to join Bai Ting’s academy once she was old enough—to stay by her side, to protect her.

Dawn broke. A sliver of sunlight slipped through the curtain gap, bathing the two sleeping beauties in a soft glow. They lay serene, like celestial maidens descended to earth. That golden light haloed their flawless faces, adding a sacred radiance.

On the bed, they held each other. To be precise, Bai Ting cradled Bai Ling as they slept.

Last night, knowing she’d leave her sister today for a distant magic academy, Bai Ting couldn’t sleep. She clung to Bai Ling, tossing restlessly. She didn’t want to part with her adorable sister. But circumstances forced her hand. She’d cherish every moment before leaving—even if it meant staying awake till eternity.

Late into the night, she refused sleep, dragging Bai Ling into chatter. "We’ll be apart so long," she claimed. "I must spend every second with you before I go."

Bai Ling didn’t object. She felt the same. Yet, having lived two lifetimes, she was wiser. She knew today was crucial for Bai Ting. So, past midnight, she lulled her sister to sleep with stories. Then Bai Ling drifted off too.

They’d stayed up far later than usual. Both cherished early bedtimes for health.

As sunlight crept from the quilt to Bai Ling’s face, her eyes fluttered open. Awareness returned. She felt someone beside her.

A hand rested on her chest—specifically, on her breasts. Though familiar, Bai Ling’s cheeks flushed crimson. Was it morning grogginess? Or the sun’s fierce warmth?

The culprit slept soundly. Bai Ting dreamed vividly: her sister lay naked, flashing a seductive smile, crooking a finger as if inviting sin.

To Bai Ting, it was like a starving wolf spotting prey. Drool glistened at her lips. She felt no resistance. She reached out to grab Bai Ling.

Bai Ling knew nothing of this dream. She only felt Bai Ting’s hand kneading her breasts.

The sudden touch nearly drew a moan. She stifled it, but not the tingling sensation. She shifted awkwardly. That movement revealed something else beneath the covers: Bai Ting’s legs pinned one of hers. A knee pressed against her most intimate spot, fabric thin.

The shift sent electric jolts through her body.

Bai Ling writhed harder. Her motion disturbed Bai Ting’s dream. The older sister stirred, seeking a better position to continue her fantasy.

*How could she?* Bai Ling’s eyes widened. The sensation felt deliberate. But glancing at Bai Ting, she saw steady breaths and a drool-streaked, beautiful face.

Ah—just unconscious movements. *Even in dreams, she’s "training" me?* Bai Ling thought, *Such a mischievous sister.*

She couldn’t endure this. Gently, she lifted Bai Ting’s wandering hand. As she tried to free her leg and slip out of bed, Bai Ting stirred. A soft whimper escaped her lips. Her eyes blinked open, drowsy.

Bai Ling froze, waiting.

She watched silently as Bai Ting woke. "Good morning!" Bai Ling smiled.

Bai Ting grinned back. "Morning!" She pulled Bai Ling close, burying her face in Bai Ling’s chest, nuzzling.

Bai Ling jolted. Electricity shot through her. *Again?*

She knew this was just playful teasing. No deeper meaning.

"You’re leaving today, right?" Bai Ling asked tentatively. She knew the answer but pressed on for practicality.

Bai Ting stilled. A quiet "Mm" slipped out. Silence followed—tinged with sadness.

Today mattered too much for lingering. "Time to rise," Bai Ling coaxed softly. "Uncle Qiao will be here soon. We can’t let him laugh at us."

"Mm." Bai Ting’s reply was a mere hum.

Seeing her gloom, Bai Ling brightened. "I’ll... do your hair and makeup today!" She blushed, embarrassed by her own offer.

Bai Ting lifted her head, puzzled. "Huh?" Surprise and delight colored her tone. She’d always dressed Bai Ling. *Is she sick?*

She brushed Bai Ling’s bangs aside, pressing her forehead to hers.

Bai Ling’s heart raced. *What’s she doing? Is she going to cross that line?* Her cheeks burned like autumn apples—adorable against her flawless skin.

As Bai Ting leaned closer, Bai Ling panicked. They’d shared intimate moments, but never crossed boundaries. *Why today?* She squeezed her eyes shut, waiting. Her pounding heart betrayed her calm.

The wait felt endless. No lips touched hers—but something pressed her forehead. Bai Ting jerked back. "You’re sick!" she cried, flustered.

Bai Ling blinked, confused. Then she understood. "I’m not!" she protested.

Bai Ting frowned. "Really?" Bai Ling’s blush deepened. "Really!"

"And why are your cheeks so red?" Bai Ling fumbled. "I... it’s..." *Because of you!* she screamed inwardly. But she stayed silent. Admitting it would spark more playful chaos—and they were already late.

Bai Ting relaxed, seeing only shyness. "Then why offer to dress me? That’s not like you."

Bai Ling choked. "I... just wanted to make you happy!" She turned away, avoiding Bai Ting’s gaze.

"Make me happy?" Bai Ting paused, then smiled warmly. "I’ll gladly accept this rare treat." Her heart swelled with honeyed sweetness. Bai Ling never volunteered—she’d rather laze about. Bai Ting always handled her grooming, or maids did. Today’s offer stunned her.

"Okay, let’s get up. It’s late!" Bai Ling waited for Bai Ting to move.

"Got it!" Bai Ting rolled off the bed.

Bai Ling felt no regret. She’d savored such sweetness often. She rose too.
