Finally, it was Jiang Xuehan's turn to flip cards. She flipped the leftmost card of the first row, then the middle card of the third row—exactly the Three of Spades and Three of Clubs. A perfect match.

"Hmph, not bad luck," Li Xinglan sneered, curling her lip dismissively.

Jiang Xuehan continued flipping. This time, the Nine of Spades and Nine of Clubs—another success. Li Xinglan stayed silent.

Next, she revealed the Seven of Spades and Seven of Clubs. Li Xinglan's expression grew uneasy.

...

In a blink, only four cards remained before Jiang Xuehan. One more match would end the game.

Beads of sweat dotted Li Xinglan's forehead. She muttered, "Impossible... How could it be so fast..."

Jiang Xuehan ignored her, flipping the top-left card—the Ace of Spades.

A smirk played on her lips as she pointed at the last three cards. "Hmm, one in three odds. Will my luck hold?"

Li Xinglan didn't reply, panic flashing in her eyes.

"Go, Xiao Han!" Xia Ziyin and Wen Jiaqi cheered from behind.

Jiang Xuehan flipped the bottom-left card—the Ace of Clubs.

The final two cards were a pair. Game over.

"Oh yeah!" Xia Ziyin hugged Jiang Xuehan from behind, her plump chest pressing against Jiang Xuehan's head. "Hehe, I knew you'd win, Xiao Han!"

Wen Jiaqi added smugly, "Hmph, someone promised to do anything if they lost."

Only Li Xinglan stood pale. "You... how did you find out?"

"Find out what?" Jiang Xuehan feigned ignorance.

"Uh, nothing..." Li Xinglan relaxed slightly.

Jiang Xuehan had spotted it long ago—this was a trick deck. Card backs usually share identical patterns, but trick decks cheat with subtle suit-and-rank-based changes. An ancient scam, yet hard to detect without careful comparison.

Take Li Xinglan's deck: tiny red squares filled the backs. With sharp eyes, one might notice some squares had a slightly indented corner, forming irregular pentagons. The pentagon count revealed the rank. Suits were simpler: top-left dent meant Diamonds, top-right meant Clubs, bottom-left meant Hearts, bottom-right meant Spades.

Easy to explain, but those micro-details were ant-antenna fine. Even knowing it was rigged, spotting differences took ages.

Too bad her opponent was Jiang Xuehan.

Most people have single-focus vision—concentrating on one spot blurs the rest. Like in fights, focusing on an opponent leaves you open to side attacks.

Top gamers differ. Mini-maps in games force split attention: tracking characters while monitoring teammates and enemies. Years of training let pros handle both seamlessly.

As a former elite streamer, Jiang Xuehan mastered this. Spotting back-pattern quirks was trivial. She'd noticed during shuffling, decoding the system through Li Xinglan's flips.

When Li Xinglan tried flipping nonstop, Jiang Xuehan distracted her with a vibrating phone and a silly text. Then, with magician speed, she swapped the crucial Ace of Diamonds and Two of Hearts.

Simple for a genius like her.

Yet she kept the cheating secret. First, Li Xinglan was stunningly pretty—Jiang Xuehan's boyish heart felt protective. Second, Li Xinglan's background seemed shady; her two sunglassed thugs radiated menace. Best not to provoke them.

Defeated, Li Xinglan gave up swapping beds. Huffing, she sat by the door and ordered the thugs, "Move everything here. Spread the quilt on this bed. Summer's ending anyway—winter'll make the inner side warmer."

Fierce but obedient as loyal dogs, the men finished quickly. "Miss, anything else?"

"Nothing. Tell my dad I'm fine alone on campus."

"Yes, Miss."

As the thugs left, Xia Ziyin and Wen Jiaqi relaxed. A girls' dorm felt odd with random men around—though lax rules during freshman week allowed it.

Jiang Xuehan watched the black sedan drive off from the balcony. She slipped back, approaching Li Xinglan casually. "Xinglan, didn't you promise to do something if you lost?"

Li Xinglan blinked, recalling slowly. "Oh, that? I keep my word. Just don't ask for anything outrageous."

"I want to squeeze your boobs!" Jiang Xuehan blurted.

"Huh?" Li Xinglan froze. "You... want to touch my chest?"

Jiang Xuehan nodded earnestly. "We're girls! It's not weird, right?"

Her boyish heart compromised for the goal.

Nearby, Xia Ziyin snorted. "Hahaha, Xiao Han, obsessed with boobs again? Is this a flat-chest girl's grudge?"

"Well, if you say so."

Li Xinglan frowned. "We're adults. It's strange."

Wen Jiaqi egged on, "What's strange? My high school bestie and I kissed! Just don't think weird thoughts. You can squeeze Xiao Han's flat chest to even it out—though it's not much to feel."

Jiang Xuehan adored these roommates instantly.

Seeing their insistence, Li Xinglan wavered. She studied Jiang Xuehan: lecherous eyes aside, that plain, delicate face and petite frame were oddly endearing.

After internal debate, she surrendered, spreading her hands. "Fine, squeeze—but no weird moves!"

Jiang Xuehan trembled, reaching out. She stared at those plump melons, drooling. Missing Xia Ziyin's chest yesterday stung, but these surpassed them in size and shape. Truly, misfortune turned to blessing?

Heart pounding like a pilgrim's, her little hand gently grasped Li Xinglan's left breast. She squeezed tentatively—the shocking softness and bounce...
