With Chuxingyue's looks, she'd look stunning in anything. So Xiao Mu only planned to pick one outfit for her: a maid outfit!!

Before getting the system, Xiao Mu was a hardcore otaku, completely obsessed with Japanese anime. Whenever he saw maid-clad characters, his heart would race with excitement. He often fantasized about seeing a real-life cute girl in such an outfit. And now... the chance was right here! Chuxingyue's beauty could definitely pull it off.

"A maid outfit?"

When Xiao Mu voiced his idea, Chuxingyue froze for a long moment. Xiao Mu actually wanted her... to wear that?

"Don't worry, sis Xingyue," Xiao Mu said eagerly. "Just once at home. Just once!"

Chuxingyue hesitated, then blushed and whispered, "Okay..."

Xiao Mu grinned mischievously and pulled her into a tight hug. "I knew you're the best, sis Xingyue!"

"Ah, stop it! People are watching..." Chuxingyue lightly punched his chest but didn't push away.

"So what? Can't we show affection?" Xiao Mu said seriously.

"Pfft, you and your excuses..."

"Haha!"

Xiao Mu couldn't resist pinching her cheek. Mmm, soft.

They sneakily headed to buy the outfit. Luckily, the huge clothing store had a cosplay section where they found it. After shopping, they took a cab home. Xiao Mu was itching to see Chuxingyue in it.

"Xiao Mu, promise not to laugh later..." Chuxingyue murmured, shy about wearing it for the first time.

"Of course not! Rest assured, sis Xingyue!" Xiao Mu pounded his chest.

Chuxingyue slipped into the room to change. Xiao Mu paced outside, heart racing as he imagined her appearance.

Ten minutes crawled by. Just as he couldn't wait any longer, the door opened.

Xiao Mu's breath caught... his heart seemed to stop!

Chuxingyue looked like she'd stepped straight out of an anime. That outfit, that figure... how could she be so breathtaking?

Seeing his dumbfounded face, Chuxingyue smiled softly. Hands folded before her, she bowed slightly and murmured, "Master."

Huh... WHAT? Hallucination? Illusion? Did I dream that?

Xiao Mu's mind went blank, overwhelmed by the shock.

"Master, what's wrong?" Chuxingyue blinked playfully, shy but curious.

"Ahem... Sis Xingyue, who taught you that line?" Xiao Mu swallowed hard.

"I remembered it from anime. Just tried it."

"Maybe don't say that again..."

"Why?"

"My heart might not survive it!" Xiao Mu clutched his chest solemnly.

"Okay," Chuxingyue nodded. "Can I change now?"

"No way! Keep it on a bit longer."

She considered it and agreed.

They settled on the couch watching TV. After a while, Xiao Mu perked up. "Sis Xingyue, let me take photos?"

"Photos?"

"Yep! Rare chance—can't miss it!"

"But what if others see them later..." Chuxingyue fretted.

"I swear no third person will ever see them!"

"Well... okay."
