Such composure in the face of danger was truly admirable. Adolf looked at Sky Qi on the crystal screen with an approving gaze.

Sky Qi still hadn’t taken any action. He just crouched to the side, watching the spectacle, only occasionally deflecting a stray spell.

In the darkness, no one could spot him. They were completely unaware someone was observing it all with detached eyes from the sidelines.

Leoto and the big guy immediately knelt before the dark-purple-haired girl, daring not to move. They knew their boss lady’s strength all too well.

She was terrifying—casually tossing a lightning palm strike could reduce anyone to ashes. Don’t be fooled by her mere B Rank status; in real combat, she was worlds apart.

Even if the two teamed up, they wouldn’t stand a chance—not twenty of them could match her. Backing down instantly upon seeing their boss lady was the smart choice.

“Uh, C-Chris boss, it was really an accident!” Leoto apologized hastily. Their boss lady had an explosive temper; failing to act obedient now meant doom.

He shot a fierce glare at the big guy. This was all your fault.

Hey, if you hadn’t ambushed me first, would this have happened? He glared back, refusing to yield.

“I’ll deal with your infighting later. But how should I handle you throwing a rock at my face?” Within her domain, the outside world fell utterly silent, making Chris’s voice ring crystal clear.

Leoto wiped cold sweat with a trembling hand. Oh no. Their boss lady had a short fuse and one hard rule: never hit her face. Accidental or not, it’d make her fly into a rage.

Even through a shield.

This was all thanks to that brainless oaf Zhang Xiong. He shot him a resentful glance.

Huh? The boss lady disciplining her underlings? Damn, she’d even activated her magic domain right here in the arena.

A magic domain boosted the user, debuffed outsiders, and could inflict damage. Some isolated the area, blocking sight and sound from outside.

If I’m not mistaken, this was the Kelly Family’s advanced lightning domain. Only a high-status direct bloodline member could master it.

Damn, this place was full of hidden talents.

Sky Qi touched the fiery red scarf around his neck. Beneath it lay a black collar. If his power wasn’t sealed, he’d fear no domain—not even this lightning one, or any in the world.

He couldn’t waste mana now, so he waited. But this free-for-all beat live streams—firsthand thrills! Stray spells occasionally flew his way.

Through Sky Qi’s True Sight Eye, everything inside the domain was crystal clear.

Chris clasped her hands above her head in a sword stance. Purple light flashed between her palms. Lightning crackled across her body as her pupils shifted from pale to deep violet. Tremendous power gathered in her grip.

The lightning coalesced into her palms, then slashed down like a blade toward the kneeling pair. The strike roared like thunder, seeming ready to tear space apart and annihilate them instantly.

Sky Qi watched with interest—then his expression changed. Oh no! Their minds were paralyzed; they sat with blank stares, not resisting, awaiting Chris’s judgment.

He sensed the strike’s power—it could shatter their shield and hit them directly. A new shield would take a full second to form. One second was enough to reduce them to ashes. Survival meant total paralysis.

Such frenzied power was nearly impossible to withstand.

This noblewoman had gone too far! Her domain’s massive boost turned a normally blockable strike unstoppable.

Sky Qi cursed inwardly. Was that boy an idiot? He specialized in earth magic; resisting fully could barely block it. With the shield, he’d only get minor injuries. But not resisting? Sky Qi clicked his tongue. Annihilation was certain.

This was an arena free-for-all, not mutual slaughter. If killing were allowed, it’d be an arena massacre.

Must decide now!

Earth Wall!

Sky Qi thrust his hands upward. An earthen rock wall erupted around the pair, encasing them instantly.

The lightning struck the wall next second, only delaying the force. Three seconds later, it shattered through, hitting them. Their shields burst. But the wall had absorbed most of the blow, so the clinging lightning vanished quickly—sucked into a larger shield that popped up. Then, traction pulled them out of the arena.

Chris’s delicate eyebrows furrowed. This wall wasn’t Leoto’s doing. They’d been fully immobilized by her lightning net—even their nerves paralyzed. No reaction was possible.

Yet someone breached her domain to cast it. Why bother? They knew such a weak defense couldn’t stop her Heavenly Lightning Slash.

It tore apart instantly. Thoughtfully, she propped her chin. Had she gone too hard? Releasing that move inside her domain could shatter shields and annihilate them.

That’d be troublesome. But worse—someone breaching her domain to cast a skill? A direct challenge.

So, who was it? Chris levitated on lightning, scanning the arena through her domain.

Adolf chuckled at the crystal screen. “Wow, what a kind-hearted girl.”

“But meddling like this isn’t always wise.” He smiled, stroking his stubble.
