"La la la la la la la la la…"

"Shut up! Can you just shut up? What's with the la-la-ing?"

"La la la… What's wrong?"

"Shut up. He's right. You're way too noisy, and I'm seriously annoyed right now."

"What's there to be annoyed about?"

"Exactly."

"Shut up."

"Let's be clear—this is all what you wanted. Look at what you have now. What's there to be annoyed about?"

"Bullshit… You're all spouting nonsense…"

"How many beautiful girls do you want? They're yours to play with however you like, aren't they?"

"Hmph, I just want to kill people."

"Then go kill! With your strength, you can kill anyone you want, can't you?"

"No, no, no—I just want to enjoy sex."

"Damn it, shut up—"

"I just want to achieve my goals."

"Bullshit. I just don't want to die. Or do you want to die?"

"…Enough! All of you, shut up!"

With a furious roar, the entire world instantly fell silent.

I opened my eyes, slightly dazed as I stared at the ceiling, then closed them again.

"Damn it, those bastards are getting louder and louder."

I took several deep breaths, turned my head, and looked at Ona sleeping sweetly beside me. I reached out and scratched her ears.

"Mew… Let me sleep a little longer, my lord…"

Ona nuzzled my arm affectionately with her head and murmured this.

"Don't sleep too late. We're leaving here today."

"I know, my lord."

After gently stroking Ona's ears, I said this, and her ears twitched in response.

"Hah, what a lovely day today."

I got out of bed, wrapped a loose bathrobe around myself, and walked to the balcony. I pulled open the curtains, and bright sunlight flooded the room.

"Mew!"

As a Demon, Ona instantly gasped in surprise.

"My lord, what are you doing? Such sudden strong sunlight—I really hate it…"

"Is that so? Sorry, I'll be more careful next time."

Ona, buried completely under the blankets, grumbled unhappily. I stood on the balcony, basking in the warm sunlight and stretching my body.

After a moment, Ona peeked her head out from the blankets and looked at me curiously. "My lord seems to really like sunlight?"

"Such comfortable sunlight is wonderful."

I replied with a smile.

"I hate sunlight the most… it's scorching."

Ona answered, then snuggled back into the blankets and drifted off to sleep.

I let Ona keep sleeping and went to wash up before stepping out of the room.

"My lord, good morning."

The moment I opened the door, Wuluwu and Cecilia were already waiting there, greeting me.

"Morning~"

I waved my right hand up and down and responded.

"My lovely, alluring, elegant Cecilia~ What delicious breakfast did you prepare for me this morning?"

"As usual, my lord."

Cecilia bowed slightly and replied.

"Oh, well, as usual… Can't we try something new for breakfast? I want… Never mind, as usual is fine too."

I said this, my tone turning a little more serious by the end.

"…My lord, are you starting again?"

Cecilia looked at me sternly and asked.

"Do you need my power?"

A magic book faintly appeared in Wuluwu's hands as she spoke.

"Not for now~ Oh, I might need it, because… No, I don't."

I said, then flashed a smile—a forced, unsettling grin that made Cecilia and Wuluwu instantly uneasy.

"It's nothing."

I wiped the smile away immediately.

"…My lord, your condition is worsening. I believe you must seek extra help."

"…No need. This is the necessary price. Besides, even if I find someone, it won't help. Might as well give up on treatment." I waved my hand. "Alright, enough talk. Breakfast time. I burned a lot last night—I need plenty of eggs to replenish myself today…"

Saying this, I headed straight for the dining room.
