"...Whether we can defeat the so-called First Overlord? Before clashing, it's always 50-50. Anyway, I'm confident," Holy Son Xia Xi said after a moment of silence. Then she looked down at the map on the table before her.

"This raid... no one spotted the enemy's movements. That means the one harassing us might be the Overlord himself... at the very least, an Archduke of the Demon Race."

An Elf spoke up, "But judging by the magical traces, there were two people. Clearly, this Overlord isn't alone—he brought help."

"...Yes, not just one person," Xia Xi said. "There's also a high-tier Demon."

"What?"

"Huh?"

Instantly, the whole room gasped—even I was shocked.

"I sensed a high-tier Demon's presence. At minimum, it's Archduke-level."

"...How? An Archduke-level Demon!?" The crowd erupted into chaos. I stared at Xia Xi, suddenly finding this "Holy Son" quite troublesome.

"I didn't expect she'd sense Ona's presence..." I stroked my chin thoughtfully. "Ona nearly erased her own existence. I even helped cover her traces, yet Xia Xi still sensed her... Fascinating."

I narrowed my eyes, thinking silently. Right now, I hadn't changed my face—just concealed my aura and blended into the crowd. My goal was simple: see the fallout after I, with Wuluwu and others, harassed the human army all day. I also craved their reactions.

Clearly, my harassment worked well... and I'd uncovered something intriguing.

"An Archduke-level Demon aiding him? We must rethink this," a burly man said gravely. "Retreat might be wise."

"No retreat!" A thin, bald man shrieked. "That damned Overlord killed Master Daenerys! He assassinated our king! He must pay!"

"...Yes, he must pay," Xia Xi replied, giving the bald man a sharp look. Calmly, she added, "But it'll be our blood and lives paying—not yours."

"..." The bald man choked on her words, then slunk back into the crowd.

"Regardless, retreating now isn't an option," the Swordsman Champion sighed helplessly. "It's about face... If we flee after mere harassment without fighting, others will condemn us from the moral high ground."

"...Tch." Xia Xi clicked her tongue, visibly annoyed.

"BOOM!"

"!?"

A massive explosion erupted outside—everyone jolted in shock.

"Enemy attack!" Xia Xi and the girl Champion reacted first. They dashed out of the tent toward the blast.

"...Wuluwu moved as planned. Perfect. Now my chance comes," I thought, watching the panicked crowd scramble out. I grinned coldly and slipped toward the opposite side.

Lily was right—Xia Xi is terrifyingly strong. Sensing Ona proved that. So I never planned a fair, head-on fight with her.

"I'm the Overlord. Would I be an idiot to confront her openly?" I smirked, eagerly awaiting tonight's show.

"But what if she's... Nah. After all this time, it shouldn't matter." I paused, a grim thought flashing through my mind. After a brief hesitation, I decided my actions were safe. Humming a tune, I headed off.
