Chapter 29: A World-Shaking Upheaval!

The moment Lin Ye’s Sacred Eye activated, the world’s gears shifted violently. In a gilded hall within the White House, a blond middle-aged man murmured, “It’s appeared? But why in China? I must obtain it. Time to plant some spies.”

Nations worldwide echoed America’s hunger. Possessing the Sacred Eye could elevate any country—even to global supremacy. The EU, demon clans, and beast tribes all schemed. Yet exceptions existed.

Inside the Beast Kingdom, Empress Aurisia toyed with Lin Ye’s photo. Her face drained of color as the Sacred Eye’s power surged. She rushed to a sealed chamber housing a colossal glass cylinder. Within floated a breathtaking nude woman with raven-black hair. Aurisia pressed a red button. The woman’s eyes snapped open.

“You must protect the one who just awakened!” Aurisia implored the figure. “I beg you!” Trapped here as the world’s sole jailer of this being, Aurisia could neither free nor destroy it. Only this artificial warrior—crafted by her masters to guard Lin Ye—could act.

The black-haired woman’s eyes flew open. The cylinder shattered. Naked and urgent, she cried, “Where’s Yeer? He’s in danger alone! I must find him!” Her core programming prioritized Lin Ye above her own existence. To prevent rebellion, the Demon Sovereign couple had hardwired one truth: *Lin Ye is your everything. Your only purpose.* Aurisia despised their forced harem tactics but had no choice. *Once this ends, Lin Ye is mine. Other females? They can rot in hell.* Her lush thighs pressed together. Her hands cupped her ample chest. Heterochromatic red-and-blue eyes burned with lust. Her fingers drifted toward her forbidden zone—then stopped.

*My body belongs only to Yeer. I cannot touch it.*

Seeing the artificial woman—Lin Yue—staring blankly, Aurisia snapped, “You can’t even protect yourself right now! I’ll train you to wield your power!” Ignoring Lin Yue’s protests, she dragged her toward the training grounds.

On a Pacific island, Banas, White Dragon Clan princess, hugged a chibi plushie of Lin Ye while watching a video call. Her father, Dragon Emperor Bai Ze, looked flustered. Banas beamed. “Brother Ye has awakened at last! I’ll finally see you… and you won’t escape me. You’re *mine*.” Her smile twisted darker, more unhinged.

She turned to a maid. “Begin the plan. You’ll impersonate me.”

“Yes, Princess!” the maid stammered.

Banas’s great escape had commenced.

Deep in the Demon Realm, a stunning black-haired beauty lounged on the throne. Her crimson lips curled. “Has my sweet nephew awakened? Hehehehe… At last, I’ve found you in China, beloved child of my dearest brother. I’ve adored you since your birth.” Her voice dropped to a command. “Demon Generals! Infiltrate China. Find my nephew!”

“Yes, Sovereign!” the generals roared.

In a Beijing skyscraper, a rugged man in a suit watched a pink-haired, doll-like girl with closed eyes.

“Ling Jian,” he asked, “did you feel it?”

“Mm. The Sacred Eye… awakening in our homeland? Surprising.” Her tone turned playful.

“Indeed. China’s now the world’s target,” he sighed.

“No fear, Feng Jian! Those who threaten China—*we will hunt them down*, no matter the distance!” Ling Jian declared, winking. Her eyes, when opened, were ash-gray.

“With you here, I’m unafraid. But how do we handle the Sacred Eye?”

“Deploy special forces to track it covertly. No civilian disruption. If found, detain and protect him. Train him. He could become China’s greatest asset.”

“Only option… but how to locate him?”

“Sacred Energy detectors. His Eye is the world’s sole source. Concentration will spike near him.”

“Such cunning, Ling Jian! A tragedy God gave you this adorable face,” Feng Jian teased.

“I’ve warned you—never mock me!” Her hand flew to the sword at her waist, cheeks flushing crimson. Unaware how endearing she looked, she made Feng Jian’s heart race. He broke into a cold sweat. *That sword once split a Golden Clan Demon General clean in half—a being equal to a human Demon Emperor.* He’d witnessed it: the blood, the severed armor.

*Flashback:*

The golden demon had sneered, “Little girl! They say your blade cuts all that’s unbreakable. Can it cut *us*?”

Ling Jian vanished. A flash of steel. She reappeared behind him. The demon split apart. She sheathed her sword, cool as ice.

“I apologize!” Feng Jian blurted. Ling Jian sighed, her gray eyes drifting skyward, lost in thought.

Unaware his awakening had shaken the world, Lin Ye gained enemies and allies he never knew he had.
