Rebecca skipped class again and headed to Maggie's shop. Half a month had passed since the Demon Potion incident, but Maggie never mentioned it. Perhaps the potion’s effects had erased her memory—or maybe she was pretending not to know. Rebecca wanted to ask but couldn’t bring herself to. Even with subtle hints, she felt too embarrassed. In the end, she stayed silent, only discussing Demon Potions, but kept glancing at the now-youthful Maggie. Deep down, Rebecca’s thoughts wandered restlessly.

Thankfully, Maggie still wore the traditional Witch Maiden’s black robe, hiding her graceful figure. If she’d worn something pretty, Rebecca’s mind would’ve strayed again.

"Rebecca, I got this formula two years ago while traveling—from an old apothecary. It reverses magic on a person, usually for those with magical trauma," Maggie explained.

Rebecca studied the formula. From the ingredient combinations, she grasped some of its principles.

"During this half-month lockdown, I had nowhere to go. I only searched for the formulas you wanted. Take these back and review them. And that package over there—I prepared the ingredients for you. Take those too."

Rebecca didn’t hesitate; she took everything.

"I need to return to the academy. I skipped class to come here."

*Snort*...

"What are you laughing at?"

"I’m laughing at the duke’s daughter skipping class daily to visit my shop..." Now Maggie knew Rebecca’s identity too.

"Alright, enough talk. I’ll come this afternoon to borrow your place for brewing potions."

"Sure~" Maggie smiled slightly.

Rebecca waved and left the shop.

She loved being with Maggie—whether cursed or youthful now. It felt easy. Even better now that Maggie was beautiful~

Maggie never pried. She hadn’t asked why Charles investigated her, nor why Rebecca sought a magic-reversing Demon Potion. Yet she always helped wholeheartedly. Rebecca adored this approach—it never invaded privacy. Everything flowed naturally. Over time, their bond would deepen, and secrets would fade with growing affection.

Showing care through actions, not prying questions, felt far more comfortable. Rebecca knew she’d tell Maggie everything someday—soon, perhaps. And Maggie might soon share how she was cursed to age.

Rebecca climbed the academy wall and rushed to the cafeteria. She had to check in; otherwise, Anna would get suspicious.

"What took so long? The food’s getting cold," Anna said.

"It’s fine~" Truthfully, Rebecca didn’t care. As a Demon Race member, she could skip meals. But having transmigrated from Earth, she kept three-meal habits—not from hunger, but routine. Yeah, a foodie...

"I’m starving! You’re just now here!" Carina complained.

"Where are Laura and the others?" Rebecca asked, not seeing them.

"Unlike me—no aptitude values, just cultural courses—they face martial and magic assessments soon. They ate fast and went to practice," Anna said, smiling. But Rebecca spotted a trace of loneliness in her eyes. Anna was deeply disappointed about her lack of aptitude.

"Oh, I see..."

"Carina! That’s Rebecca’s drumstick!" During their talk, Carina had started eating. Anna saw her steal the drumstick from Rebecca’s plate.

Carina chuckled mischievously, dodged Anna, and licked the drumstick all over.

"Ew..." Rebecca’s lips twitched. She wanted to punch someone. As a Demon Race member, she could skip meals—but she loved eating. Transmigrated from Earth, she kept meal habits. Not hunger. Just habit. A foodie...

Seeing Carina’s disgusting stunt, Rebecca snapped. She snatched Carina’s food and devoured it at lightning speed!

"Oh my god! Rebecca, are you a pig?" Carina was upset about her stolen lunch—then stunned by Rebecca’s speed.

In seconds, Rebecca finished both lunches and wiped her mouth.

"Damn you, Rebecca! You ate all my lunch!" Carina waved the stolen drumstick, pointing it fiercely.

"Tasty~" Rebecca was fed up with Carina’s nagging. Today, she got sweet revenge.

"Rebecca, really... It’s late; the cafeteria’s sold out. Carina, you..." Anna sighed, torn between laughter and exasperation.

"What? You... Rebecca, I’m not done with you!" Carina flew into a rage.

"Alright, I’ll share mine. I can’t finish it all. Stop fussing. Eat and hurry to class." Anna split her food with Carina.

Rebecca sighed inwardly. She’d dragged gentle Anna into this. Carina was toxic—mess with her, and you regret it.

"Hahaha, miss, you eat so adorably~" A male voice sounded behind Rebecca.

She frowned, not turning. The voice screamed pickup attempt.

The guy paused, thinking she hadn’t heard. "Miss, you eat so fast. Heh, not unladylike—you’re refreshingly genuine. True ladylike behavior is about morals, not stiff actions. Women who over-constrain themselves are emotionless puppets. But you? Adorable~"

"I’m full. Leaving." Rebecca stood, gave him a cool glance—he blocked her path—and walked straight past without stopping.

"Uh..." The guy was speechless.

...

With Lorin covering for her, Rebecca skipped class and headed to her usual wall-climbing spot. There, she found Glendon—bruised and battered.

"Boss! Boss~~~ You have to help me~~"

Ugh, that crying was horribly off-key...

"What happened to you..." Rebecca said blankly.

"I got beaten up..."

"I can see that. This isn’t a fall. Being royal, you’re awfully pathetic. Why always bullied?" Rebecca sighed.

"Boss, help me... It’s not about me. I dropped your name—they ignored it and beat me! They disrespect you..." Glendon wailed.

Rebecca didn’t care about disrespect. But Glendon had fetched Demon Potion books from the royal library for her. She’d promised to protect him. Keep your word—even with an embarrassing underling. Owe a favor? Pay it.

"Sigh, fine. Lead the way. I’ll help..." Rebecca resigned herself. Today was ruined. She should’ve been brewing potions with Maggie—not helping this idiot Glendon!

Glendon led her through twists to another district’s classroom. At the door, students noticed battered Glendon and stunningly beautiful Rebecca.

"Which one?" Rebecca asked coolly.

"Him! That’s him!" Glendon pointed to a boy by the window.

"Huh?" Rebecca recognized him—the cafeteria guy.

"Oh~ Beautiful miss, here for me?" He approached Rebecca, then saw Glendon. "Glendon? Not beaten enough yet?"

"Hmph! Scumbag! Rejecting my sister’s love is fine—but mocking her letter aloud in public? Are you even a man?" Glendon roared.

Rebecca understood now: Glendon fought for his sister. She grew serious. Bravery for family deserved respect!

The guy’s eyes turned icy. He liked Rebecca—and hated his bad side exposed to her.

"Boss, the book! For you!" Glendon handed Rebecca a book.

The guy realized Glendon and Rebecca knew each other.

Rebecca eyed Glendon like an idiot. Using a book as a shield? Only worked on spoiled brats like him. This class had a "First-Class Martial Arts" sign! That trick wouldn’t work. Don’t pity fools—pity Glendon’s sister.

Come to think of it—that girl with the awesome booty actually liked this scumbag? Fine. Rebecca decided to teach him a lesson.

"Come out. Let’s fight," Rebecca declared bluntly.

"Huh??"
