Xia Xi noticed us staring at the computer desk. She turned, then dashed over and held up her drawing tablet to me, super excited. "Perfect timing! Look, look—I'm *so* happy with this piece! See how big the chest is? Totally your type, right?"

"What nonsense are you spouting? Put that away!" I pretended not to understand, blushing furiously as I scolded her. Don't bring that tablet over—can't you see Class Rep's mind has completely frozen? Her eyes are spinning like crazy. And sure, the drawing's good, but the chest is only *slightly* bigger than your past girls—so tiny you'd need a microscope to spot the difference. "My type"? Don't joke around!

"So... Xia Xi, you drew this? How can a girl..." I screamed inwardly: *Put that tablet away! Can't you see how red Class Rep's face is? Redder than a boiled shrimp. Her steps are unsteady too—she's about to faint!* To stop her from passing out from embarrassment, I lunged to the desk and yanked the USB cable connecting the tablet to the computer. Xia Xi's screen flickered once, then went dark. She stared dumbly at the tablet in her hands, eyes wide. "Wh-what did you do?! It's ruined! I hadn't saved it yet—all day's work wasted!" She shrieked, dropped the tablet, and pounced on me, punching and kicking. "Jerk! I made so many compromises for your tastes, and you destroyed my art?!" "Pay me back, bastard! Virgin! Pervert! Murderer—" She kept cursing while I fended off her blows, shielding my weak spots. "It wasn't for my tastes... And springing this on us is just cruel!" "Huh? Last time we watched something way wilder, you weren't shy. Now you blame me?" "This is different..." I parried her attacks, sneaking glances at Tian Yao. But Xia Xi was too focused on beating me to notice my hints. Class Rep was still frozen, muttering something under her breath—but Xia Xi's yelling drowned it out. Her punches barely hurt. After a while, she tired out first. She shook her hands, stepped back two paces, and panted heavily. "Huff... huff... Just wait. Next time, I'll cut your power cord when you're almost done writing. Let you feel that pain too." Cutting cords won't work—I use a desktop, and it auto-saves during outages. Still, if she really came to my house to snip wires, that'd be trouble. To avoid it, I apologized sincerely: "I'm sorry. Please don't cut my wires." Just then, Tian Yao snapped out of her daze and clapped her hands. "Ah! I get it now." "Huh?" Xia Xi and I both looked at her. "This must be that new art form—the kind from ancient India that celebrates love? Like those temple carvings? I don't know much, but it's that, right?" "Huh?" Xia Xi frowned, utterly lost. "No, it's just ordinary adult—" I tackled her mid-sentence, locking her neck under my arm and clamping my hand over her mouth. I grinned awkwardly at Tian Yao. "Ahaha, Class Rep, you know so much! Yep, exactly that." "Mmmph!" Trapped under my arm, Xia Xi arched her back and slapped my arm wildly, muffled protests escaping. I leaned close and whispered: "Don't blab in front of Class Rep." "Mmm!" She blinked rapidly at me, then nodded. I loosened my grip slightly—but she bit down hard on the webbing of my right thumb. "Yowch! Let go! Are you a dog?!" She released me, spat twice, and retreated far away, eyeing me warily. "You... I'm a girl your age, you know... Wait. You like me, don't you? All that 'mature big-chested girls' talk—really, you prefer someone like me..." She glanced furtively at her flat chest, blushing. "...Right? You're honest deep down!" "No way!" I shook my right hand—the bite left a deep, sharp tooth mark and her spit. She must have canines. Honestly, with Xia Xi, I always forget she's my age. To me, she's just a hard-to-handle brat. Tian Yao watched us bicker, hand over her mouth in shock. "So you two are... like that? No wonder you seemed so close since entering." "No!" Xia Xi and I snapped in unison, then glared at each other and turned away with a "Hmph!" "You're so in sync... Really not?" "Really not!" Again, we echoed each other. Xia Xi clicked her tongue impatiently. "So why are you here anyway? Zong Jun's fine, but who's this unstylish glasses girl?" "Hey, that's rude! 'Unstylish glasses girl'? We just introduced her—she's Class Rep." Tian Yao bowed deeply. "Sorry for the intrusion. I'm Tian Yao, class rep of Grade 11, Class 3. We're classmates, Xia Xi." "Oh, Class Rep. What do you want?" "You've been absent so long, so..." "If it's about school, don't bother." Tian Yao faltered, stammering: "Why won't you come back?" Xia Xi stretched lazily. "School's boring. I'm busy—no time for that." Tian Yao looked puzzled. "But at our age, shouldn't school be most important?" "No, no, no." Xia Xi wagged a finger before her. "So many paths—school isn't the only way." She ignored Tian Yao and turned to me. "And you? Why with my class rep?" "I'm your classmate too..." She eyed me in shock. "Liar?" "True. We've been in the same class since Grade 11 reshuffle." As I explained, I heard Xia Xi mutter softly: "Just a pervert obsessed with big chests... my classmate? Schools really have all kinds. Guess skipping was right after all." "Shut your mouth—it's nasty." "Oops, heard that? Sorry, hehe." She grinned smugly—zero remorse. That line was clearly meant for me. This girl's mouth could kill someone. Tian Yao hesitated, then gathered courage. "If possible... I hope you'll return to class, Xia Xi. The teacher asked me." "I said no. You're annoying—go home. Shoo, shoo." She waved dismissively at Tian Yao, making "shoo" sounds like chasing a stray animal. I didn't care about her school issues. Standing up, I tugged Tian Yao's arm. "Class Rep, let's go today." Tian Yao didn't move. She stared firmly at Xia Xi—today, our usually submissive rep looked determined. Xia Xi grabbed my arm. "She can leave, but you destroyed my art and think you're walking away? Stay and pay with your body!" I froze, clutching my shirt. "Don't dream—I'm not that kind of guy." "You wish! Stay and help me—simple coloring, at least? I've got spare computers and tablets." "Then don't say things that get misunderstood!" Tian Yao interrupted gently. "Xia Xi, you can still do what you love while attending school. Like Zong Jun—he got permission to skip evening study sessions." "I said no. School's boring." "But with so many absences, you could be expelled. Even Teacher Li, covering for you, might get in trouble." "Huh. Still not expelled? Tch. That Teacher Li is such a busybody." Tian Yao opened her mouth again—I patted her shoulder. "Hm?" She turned, confused. I said calmly: "Let's go today, Class Rep. It's late. Your family will worry." "But..." "Let's go." Seeing Xia Xi's cold expression, I knew she'd never return. Tian Yao's words were useless. "Okay..." Tian Yao nodded reluctantly, then told Xia Xi, "I'll come again tomorrow, Xia Xi." "Don't bother. Go. Shoo, shoo." Xia Xi made a sharp "get lost" gesture, scowling.
