"Flip it! Flip it! Next page! Next page!"

The audience instantly perked up.

Plenty of chatter erupted too.

"Huh, this diary’s owner feels kinda weird!"

"Physical expulsion? It can’t actually be that, can it?"

"No wonder he wasn’t into that little girl earlier—he likes guys!"

"Eww..."

The scene exploded with energy.

Excitement, thrill, debates, and confusion swirled.

But the most stunned was Ying Yuanyuan, seated beside Liu Xiyun: "Seriously, Xiyun? He’s into both genders!? And you’d still want him?"

Luckily, Ying Yuanyuan kept her voice low. Amid the roaring crowd, only Liu Xiyun heard her. If others had, they’d have been shocked speechless.

The nation’s goddess, Liu Xiyun, knew the diary’s owner!? And she was the little girl from this martial arts journal?

If revealed, it’d cause a massive uproar!

Relieved no one else heard, Liu Xiyun secretly sighed and whispered, "Can you stop focusing on me? Just watch quietly, okay?"

"Oh, alright." Sensing Liu Xiyun’s irritation, Ying Yuanyuan dropped it and joined the crowd watching the page turn.

[Physical expulsion? Simple: use the easiest fix for the toughest problems.]

[Just some silly toner? The solution starts with water. Look at this poor kid—he’s near tears. Needs a good soak to dilute it.]

[Near the herb field, I yanked vines from a big tree, tied up this unlucky brat, and dragged him to the muddy swamp.]

[All the way, he whined nonstop, demanding this and that. I almost tossed him into the swamp to drown! Want? Want? What do you want? Crap? What the hell do you want!]

[How could I grant his wishes? I’d give him crap instead! Then he clung to me again!? Damn it! Can’t even swamp water cool you off!? I nearly slapped him twice more. Exhausting! Had to speed up.]

"Huh... so it’s just cooling off in water??"

"That’s it? That’s it? Where’s the ‘physical expulsion’?"

"Phew, this diary owner’s normal. But torturing that kid like this—won’t he get karma later?"

"Pfft! Hilarious! His ‘physical expulsion’ is just ‘physical cooling’! Xiyun, he’s so funny!" Ying Yuanyuan snorted, drawing stares.

Beside her, Liu Xiyun pretended not to know her, acting deaf, but secretly nodded.

Good.

Good thing this guy’s normal...

"Phew!" The host sighed in relief too. She’d feared an awkward scene.

"Haha, this martial artist’s amusing. The diary’s segmented pages almost fooled me."

"Alright, next page!"

She signaled another flip.

[‘Let me go! Let me go!’ Finally, this unlucky kid sobered up. Instead of demands, he yelled for release. How could I refuse such a cheeky request?]

[Perfect. I let him go.]

[He rolled in the mud. Maybe from the noise, venomous insects—nowhere seen before—crawled out at his cries. Ignoring me, they swarmed straight to him.]

[This luck... unmatched! No wonder he’s so unlucky—it’s born in him...]

The audience tensed.

"Real swamp venomous insects! They kill martial artists! They’re doomed!"

"Probably not—the diary’s here, so the owner’s fine. But what about that kid later?"

In the crowd, Liu Xiyun watched the scene, eyes sharpening as if recalling something. She called to the host, "Turn the page."

The host didn’t hesitate. At the prodigy’s command, staff projected the next part.

[Withered branches and sparse bushes surrounded us. From his thrashing, he sank deeper into the swamp, venomous insects closing in. He stared at me, eyes thick with regret—as if knowing his fate. Yet facing those bugs, he shouted for me to run? That moved me.]

[Run!? Is that manly? A real man charges forward!]

[If I don’t pull you out, I won’t be surnamed Qin!]

[Call you grandpa!]

[I charged at him!]
