The three small items weren't expensive at all, totaling one large Dollo coin and two small Dollo coins.
Afterward, he bought Louise daily necessities and clothes. Once done, Leyang took her back to Kamila Noble Academy. He arranged her as his attendant. The gate guards didn't stop them.
Back at Block C, Unit 33, he filled a large basin with clear water from the nearby artificial stream. Then he let Louise take a proper bath alone.
Leyang's room wasn't small—it could easily hold two people. But the bed was too narrow. Sleeping together would feel cramped and awkward.
Luckily, leftover lumber from before was perfect for making Louise a simple bed.
Without delay, Leyang got to work.
Soon, Louise finished bathing. She walked out completely naked, dripping wet.
"Why run out without clothes? Weren't they right beside you?" Leyang asked, startled.
He looked at her body—pale as jade, exquisite like a masterpiece—and sighed in exasperation.
"Hm?" Louise tilted her head, confused. Her whole body exposed, yet her face showed no trace of shame. Calm and serene, she seemed like untouched white paper.
Leyang set down his tool. He pulled Louise inside, dried her quickly with a towel, and helped her into new clothes—a black-and-white maid uniform.
To keep Louise legitimately by his side, attendant was the only role. A maid uniform fit perfectly. But it was tricky to wear. No wonder she gave up and sought his help naked.
Honestly, who was serving whom here was unclear.
After tidying up, Leyang glanced at Louise. She looked instantly prettier, her aura transformed. Naturally quiet, the maid outfit made her adorably naive—utterly cute.
"Dirty. Need. Wash." Louise touched Leyang's face, her voice soft and melodic.
"Wait. I'll wash after finishing. Go play alone for now."
Leyang returned to building the bed. Louise sat quietly nearby, watching him silently.
Time passed. Leyang finished Louise's bed and took a refreshing bath. Just then, three uninvited guests arrived.
"Lord Leyang's been gone so long. Did something happen?" A girl's voice echoed through the woods.
"Oh, Phoenix, you worry too much. You know him—he vanishes often. Probably just out having fun. He'll return anytime," another girl replied.
The visitors were Glantham Phoenix and Ailin Camila Lumier, followed by their proper maid, Yvette.
Louise heard faint sounds. She stood slowly, her calm gaze fixed on the entrance.
Soon, Louise met Phoenix and Lumiere. They froze in surprise.
"A girl? How's there a girl here?"
"And such a cute one in a maid uniform!"
Suddenly, Louise turned and ran inside.
"Ah, she fled." Lumiere was slightly startled.
"Hey! Louise! Didn't I say not to enter?!" Leyang's shout came from the cabin. Showering, he'd spotted her rushing in. He jumped, ducking into the bathtub.
"It's Lord Leyang! He's back!"
"Phoenix, wait!"
"Lord Leyang!" Lumiere sensed trouble but couldn't stop Phoenix. Phoenix dashed in. She saw Leyang's annoyed glare. He hid behind the tub's edge—no free shows.
Though just an eight-year-old's body, nothing worth seeing anyway.
"Yaaah!!!" Phoenix's face flushed crimson. She screamed, covering her eyes.
"Phoenix, are you okay?!" Lumiere and Yvette rushed in, startled.
Lumiere froze at the sight. Yvette immediately covered her eyes.
"Princess Lumei, you mustn't look," Yvette whispered.
"Yvette, take your princess out. Phoenix, Louise—you too. Get out now." Leyang glared, then pointed at Louise.
"Sorry, Lord Leyang. I didn't mean to." Phoenix apologized and left quickly.
Yvette led Lumiere out. Louise stared at Leyang.
"Staring won't help. Wait outside. I'll come after changing."
Soon, Leyang finished, dumped the bathwater, and stepped out.
Fresh from his bath, he looked crisp and refined. The girls felt their hearts skip a beat.
"So, why here? Not just to peep at my bath?" Leyang sat, asking calmly.
"Pah! Who'd want that? First, explain this girl. What's your relationship?" Lumiere spat, eyeing the white-haired, red-eyed girl beside Leyang.
"Louise? I met her by chance outside. Circumstances led me to bring her back. She's my attendant now."
"Louise, these are Glantham Phoenix, Ailin Camila Lumier, and Yvette. Greet them." Leyang introduced both sides.
Louise edged closer to Leyang. Silent, expressionless.
Leyang scratched his head. "She's just shy around strangers."
