Leyang brushed the dust off the two packages and lifted them. They felt a bit heavy.

Weighing dozens of jin, they were no problem for his strength.

After all, he wasn’t an ordinary eight-year-old.

He returned to the carriage, one large package in each hand.

From afar, Uncle Ma saw him approaching. His weathered old eyes narrowed slightly, a trace of shock flashing deep within.

Those packages looked far from light. How could an eight-year-old carry them so effortlessly?

It was simply unbelievable.

"Oh dear, young master Leyang, you shouldn’t! Let me help you," Uncle Ma called out.

He hurried forward, worried the boy might trip or get hurt—something hard to explain later.

"In that case, thank you, Uncle Ma," Leyang replied.

He didn’t insist, handing one package over.

But instantly, Uncle Ma’s face changed. His body sagged, nearly wrenching his old back.

Leyang quickly took the package back, concern written all over his face.

"Uncle Ma, are you alright? I heard a loud thud just now."

"I’m fine, I’m fine. Young master, what’s inside these? Why so heavy?" Uncle Ma rubbed his waist, a hint of embarrassment in his voice.

"Just some beast pelts and materials. I’ll sell them in the next town for coin, as I said earlier," Leyang explained calmly.

Now outside Nebis Territory, he saw no need to hide his strength. Showing it would earn respect.

"I see. With this heat, pelts rot fast. Sell them soon if you want coin," Uncle Ma advised slowly, giving Leyang a meaningful glance.

"Mm, I agree. Uncle Ma, could you take me to the nearest town to sell these? Without money, life in Camilla City won’t be easy," Leyang asked sincerely, eyes hopeful.

"If you’re short on coin, young master, why not borrow from the Lord’s wife?"

"No. Self-earned money feels better—more reassuring," Leyang said firmly, shaking his head.

*Is he really just eight?* Uncle Ma wondered, startled.

"Get in the carriage. We leave now," Uncle Ma said gently.

He was just a steward. Best not to pry into the master’s affairs—stick to his duty.

Leyang smiled faintly. His identity was useful, and his innocent looks were deceiving.

If Uncle Ma refused help, the pelts and snake skins would rot. The trip from Nebis Territory to Camilla City took half a month—letting them spoil would be a huge loss.

Half a day later, they reached a nearby town. Leyang sold the pelts with Uncle Ma’s help, earning three Small Yala Coins.

Monster pelts were worth far more than he’d expected.

Uncle Ma mentioned that in Camilla City, their value might double—if not for the risk of rot. Small-town merchants couldn’t afford high prices.

Leyang wasn’t discouraged. Better sold than wasted.

Earning three coins so soon made him quietly delighted.

The beast pelts were just extras. The real valuables were still in his hands.

Selling them in imperial Camilla City would bring a big profit.

No wonder so many risked their lives hunting monsters—for quick coin and thrills.

Battles strengthened you; bounties bought what you wanted. Two birds with one stone.

Of course, many died under monster claws yearly.

Wealth meant nothing after death. You couldn’t take it with you—it only enriched others.

Leyang had no plans to buy magic scrolls. Not yet.

He barely recognized Doloryara Continent’s script. What use were scrolls? Could he even learn?

Besides, fireball or waterball spells might not match his martial arts—a single palm strike could overpower them.

Half a month later, Uncle Ma safely delivered Leyang to Camilla City.

The city walls, towering three or four stories high, radiated majestic grandeur, leaving him awestruck.

They dwarfed Nebis Territory’s crumbling walls. Patrol soldiers stood sharp and serious, clearly well-trained. Seven or eight guarded the gate, checking entrants with strict order.

Entering Camilla City cost two large Doloryara coins in head tax.

Uncle Ma covered it. Soldiers inspected the carriage, then waved them through.

Inside, Camilla City bustled with shops brimming with dazzling wares.

Since rebirth on Doloryara Continent, Leyang had only known Nebis Territory and Monster Woods. Finally, he could see this world properly.

On the road, Uncle Ma had explained Kamila Noble Academy’s rules, city laws, guilds, and shops—much like the other-world novels from his past life.

Camilla had an Adventurers’ Guild too. Meet the requirements, register, complete quests, earn bounties.

Before taking his territory, Leyang wanted to try adventuring. Fast money. Exciting.

As a past-life martial arts master, he craved battle. Adventuring would hone his strength perfectly.

"Young master Leyang, handle your materials first? Or meet the master and mistress? Or shall I show you around the city to get familiar?" Uncle Ma offered.

"Mm, that’s a good idea. Let’s explore the city first."
