I. Important plot summary of I'm My Wife Part 1:
1. The protagonist is Autumn Ease. He came from 2014. One autumn, while sitting on a bench in a pedestrian street waiting to be demolished and reminiscing about the past, he accidentally traveled back ten years and became a girl named Leaf Grace.
2. Leaf Grace and the Autumn Ease of that era attended the same school and the same class. They met each other there, and the same soul in two different bodies sparked against itself.
3. Leaf Grace was the eldest daughter of a wealthy family. She lived by the sea in a villa and had many maids. The one closest to her was Water Poem.
4. Later, both Autumn Ease's and Leaf Grace's parents died in a plane crash. Leaf Grace wanted nothing to do with the ugly, disgusting fight over the inheritance. She only kept the seaside villa, then moved with Water Poem into a house in the city that her parents had bought before.
5. Lunar Shadow was someone Leaf Grace picked up. One morning, she found her lying naked under a streetlamp.
6. Leaf Grace and Water Poem kept taking care of Lunar Shadow. In that world, Lunar Shadow's true identity was basically a god who had once saved the world and been gravely wounded in the process. This is important. In My Wife 2, Lunar Shadow is not a god, and the setting is no longer fantasy.
7. Because Leaf Grace helped change history, Autumn Ease and the classmates he was close to all got into the same university.
8. During that time, Autumn Ease was tempted by his high school classmate Jade Elegance. Faced with a choice, the story split into three endings:
① Happy Ending: Autumn Ease chose Leaf Grace without hesitation. But Leaf Grace disappeared after fulfilling his wish. In the end, he and GuanPeng found her again. They got married, had children, and lived happily ever after.
② Loop Ending: Autumn Ease chose no one. Leaf Grace died in a car accident, and Jade Elegance also left. When time returned to that autumn in 2014, when Leaf Grace had first traveled through time, Leaf Grace came back with Lunar Shadow's help. But time could only loop through that single day forever.
③ Reincarnation Ending: Autumn Ease chose Jade Elegance. Leaf Grace died, and the world entered reincarnation. Fragments of Leaf Grace's soul fell into the bodies of Jade Elegance and Water Poem in a newly begun world. As for Autumn Ease, the one who made the wrong choice, he traveled back to the past and became Leaf Grace again, meaning the whole story started over from the beginning.
II. Brief introduction to the important characters. This is the Part 1 version, so there will be some differences from Part 2. Please pay close attention.
1. Leaf Grace: the heroine. She comes from the future and is the form Autumn Ease took after traveling back to the past and becoming a girl. She looks quiet and gentle on the surface, but she's actually lively and a little tsundere.
2. Autumn Ease: the male lead.
3. Lunar Shadow: she appears in the early part of the book as a little loli. Her true identity is the wife of the Ye Ancestor. She plays a crucial role in how the ending unfolds. Lunar Shadow can bring Leaf Grace, who vanished after completing her mission, back into reality.
4. Water Poem: she first appears as Leaf Grace's maid and is only three years older than her. But after Leaf Grace's parents both died, she took on the role of an elder in Leaf Grace's life. Her personality also changed from playful and lively at first to mature and steady.
5. Jin Jing: the girl Leaf Grace, or future Autumn Ease, had a crush on in both high school and college. She's the mature beauty type, seductive with a touch of innocence, with phoenix eyes and a smile that can really hook people. She's gentle and understanding.
6. Lu Yu: a small round-faced loli-type girl. She's close to Jin Jing and likes Wang Xin. She loves gossip, isn't bad by nature, and always feels like a child who never quite grew up.
7. Jin Jiahui: born into a martial arts family. He's loyal and righteous, but not very flexible. He likes Feng Yulan and is also Autumn Ease's best friend. He taught Autumn Ease about responsibility and courage.
8. Feng Yulan: the most "beautiful" boy at Wenlan Academy. Because of Leaf Grace's arrival, history changed, and for various reasons Feng Yulan also became a girl, as an intersex case. In the end, she and Jin Jiahui got together.
9. GuanPeng: a famous goofball at Wenlan and Autumn Ease's best bro. He's always hyper, in a good way, with a cocky edge. He liked Leaf Grace a little, but gave up because Leaf Grace already had Autumn Ease. He looks very boyish and cute, with smooth skin. In college, he was dragged onstage to wear women's clothes, and years later he became a lawyer.
10. Wanjianlei: also one of Autumn Ease's best bros, another goofball who often appears together with GuanPeng. He has somewhat long hair and is a handsome guy. Compared to GuanPeng, he's more delicate and thoughtful, and he was also the main culprit behind making GuanPeng go onstage in women's clothes.
11. Luo Liangjian: the young master of a rich family, with an unexpectedly good temper. He gave the group a lot of financial help, had a crush on Jin Jing, successfully confessed to her in the history changed by Leaf Grace, and eventually married her. Lu Yu became her bridesmaid.
12. Wang Xin: the sports committee member. He's tall and strongly built, but always seems easy to talk to. He has a mature kind of charm and gives off dependable big-brother energy. In My Wife 2, his setting is class monitor.
13. Wang Qianyang: an extremely arrogant rich kid. He once wanted to make Leaf Grace his, but didn't act because of the family behind him.
14. Wang Qianyu: the female version of Wang Qianyang, existing at the same time as him. She looks like a loli and has two separate selves. She was raped by Wang Qianyang, who didn't know the truth.
15. Xue Tianling: likes Wang Qianyu. In one ending, he killed Wang Qianyang to avenge her, and at the same time tried to save someone by obtaining life energy. You can guess who.
III. Differences between 1 and 2.
1. In this world, Autumn Ease never traveled back to the past. He only sat on the bench and had a very long dream. The contents of that dream were the entirety of My Wife 1, and after waking up, he forgot most of it.
2. In this world, Leaf Grace's parents do not exist, and Autumn Ease's parents are still alive.
3. This is a realistic world. Everything is explained through science fiction.
4. Some characters may be easter eggs from other books, or they may be new characters. Some names contain many hints.
5. Here, Autumn Ease graduated from a normal university, and his dream is to become a teacher.
6. In this world, Leaf Grace does not exist at first. Autumn Ease begins the main story by searching for that other female version of himself from the dream.
7. The world of My Wife 1 has been set as an Anomaly Point. There are no parallel worlds in My Wife 2. Please check the main text for the specific setting of the Anomaly Point.
