Silence.
Xia Xin glanced around and let out a slight sigh of relief.
Though unlucky to be locked in the detention room, the place wasn’t too bad.
It was basically a large basement. A magic lamp hung from the ceiling, casting dim light—the room’s only source.
The entire space was nearly sealed shut. No gap under the heavy door, let alone a window.
Only a few holes in the walls allowed air to circulate.
Luckily, the room seemed unused for ages. It was clean—no cockroaches or rats, just some dust.
Two good things and one bad thing stood out.
First good news: a bed and blanket waited inside. She’d sleep well tonight—at least better than in the interrogation room.
First bad news: only one bed and one blanket for two people.
As for the second good news…
Xia Xin was a lesbian.
Hehe… sharing a bed with a silver-haired little loli… hehehe…
Ahem. Of course, ignoring reality, Xia Xin truly wasn’t into lolis.
“Ah! Why am I dragged into this place again!” Xila stomped her foot and shouted. “Locked up with the Calamity Witch… even as a Demon Spy, I don’t deserve this!”
Xia Xin squinted and shot back, “Compared to my absurd charges, your actions seem worse… and is being with me really that unbearable?”
“Guh! Because you’re the Calamity Witch!” Xila crossed her arms and snorted. “I didn’t believe it before, but so much bad luck since meeting you… now I have to!”
Unlucky, unlucky… utterly unlucky!
Xila seethed.
She’d expected a regular prison cell. While gathering intel on the Calamity Witch, the Demon King would rescue her via His spies in the Empire of Enpearl.
Instead, she was trapped in this tiny room with the Calamity Witch!
And no idea when she’d leave.
After all, the Calamity Witch bore the title “Lust Witch,” targeting pretty girls—especially younger ones…
Xila felt in grave danger.
She also fumed at that clueless interrogator, Belle. How could she do this!
Once free, Xila would pin Belle down, pry open her foul mouth, and scrub it with her toes!
“Ah~ judging by this, we’ll be locked up awhile.” Xia Xin flopped onto the bed, unfazed by dirt. “Nothing to do. Might as well sleep.”
“S-sleep!” Xila leaped back to the corner.
Bluntly saying that—the Calamity Witch really was plotting against her body!
“Snore… snore…”
Then Xila saw the Calamity Witch fast asleep.
Was this woman a pig?
No, pigs at least eat before sleeping.
Xila felt utterly speechless.
Huh… maybe I overreacted. The Calamity Witch isn’t so bad.
Aside from blowing up the interrogation room earlier, she was just a shameless, good-looking trashy witch with a flatter chest than mine.
If only it were that simple.
Xila wanted to see Xia Xin as merely a stronger trashy witch. But she couldn’t.
Because this was the Calamity Witch!
Her actions were never as simple as they seemed.
Right now, though asleep on the bed, she was surely awake—testing Xila’s moves.
Guh… maybe I should test her…
A crazy idea sparked in Xila’s mind.
She’d test the Calamity Witch.
Inside this room, all her magic failed. Elemental forces were blocked; destructive spells forbidden.
This wasn’t a personal ban—the whole room prevented magic. So even the Calamity Witch shouldn’t…
Even if she could cast, the effect would weaken greatly.
Xila believed her body could take one hit.
Her real fear? The Calamity Witch using that mind-interfering magic again. To twist her thoughts. To make her, in this sealed room, overcome with lust—reduced to a plaything…
“Uh… I’ll gamble!” Xila touched Xia Xin’s thigh.
“Guh… amazing feel… no, that’s not why!” Xila muttered inwardly, hands sliding down to Xia Xin’s calf.
Even through white stockings, the texture mesmerized her. Her focus scattered, lost in those perfect legs.
She could play with them for a year!
“Mmm…” Xia Xin shifted but didn’t wake.
“Ah!” Xila yanked her hands back, cheeks burning, heart racing.
So close… just half a second more!
She’d have completely fallen—become the Calamity Witch’s toy!
Xila shuddered with after-fear.
The Calamity Witch’s charm was terrifying! Far scarier than her power!
Even Xila—an evil soul aiming for Demon King—was affected. Falling would mean unimaginable consequences!
“Huh… so this is the Calamity Witch…” Xila panted, clutching her chest, unable to calm down.
After this test, she knew one thing: never test the Calamity Witch!
Xila swallowed hard.
Even here, the Calamity Witch used magic to twist her thoughts—making her crave those legs.
Worse, after all that, the Calamity Witch slept soundly. Eyes tightly shut. Truly asleep.
That was scarier than if she were awake.
It meant she didn’t even care about her power! She knew Xila was magic-less here!
“A little loli who can’t use magic should just kneel and lick my feet, sis… she must think that!” Xila bit her lip.
Damn it! The Calamity Witch was utterly despicable!
