Chapter 10: Greetings, Classmates

After making sure he was far enough away, Lin Luo brought his hand to his nose. The scent of his Senior Sister still lingered.

Parting with her like this... he really hated to let go.

But if he didn’t check on his classmates soon, they might do something reckless and get eaten by monsters.

Once classmates, always classmates.

Trample fame and fortune underfoot; carry loyalty on both shoulders!

Rare to possess such great skills...

Cloaked and humming a tune, Lin Luo flew toward the camp.

First, he dealt with the Leviathan—it wasn’t dead yet, just gravely wounded. So he used another method to finish it off.

Then he headed to the camp, but couldn’t arrive as Lord Luo.

Though Lin Luo was the God Emperor, he had no official title. This "Lord Luo" idea was just a random thought earlier, but it felt pretty good. He might use it again someday.

He landed in a forest near the camp, stowed his cloak and mask, and changed into simple trousers and a shirt. Then he walked toward the camp through the trees.

This shirt and trousers set was what he’d worn upon arriving at Star Island Sea. Though plain and neat, it fit perfectly and had refined classical details.

At the camp entrance, Lin Luo gazed at the two Arrow Towers. A thought struck him.

"Oh? Such things exist here. These must have protected my classmates. But why did they end up exactly at this camp after crossing over? What force is manipulating all this behind the scenes?" Even as the God Emperor, Lin Luo sensed the profound mysteries of Star Island Sea—secrets he might never know.

"Lin Luo?"

At the gate, Ziwan—with short blue hair, a classical vest, and hot pants—stared at him, eyes wide with surprise, delight, and worry.

"Is it really you, Lin Luo?"

Other classmates noticed and turned to look.

"Lin Luo?" Zhang Dajian stood far off, hands stuffed in his newbie outfit pockets, hunched over. His wrinkled face clearly said, "You’re still alive?"

"Why’s Lin Luo here? He hasn’t attended class in ages and skipped the training trip," asked Han Lianfei, a tall girl in a purple mage robe that exposed one thigh.

"Who knows? Han Lili took sick leave and skipped it too, but she got dragged here," said Fangfang in her pink warrior outfit.

"Tch." Behind a nearby group, Jiang Xiang—the tall basketball team sub-forward—flexed his thick arms. His eyes narrowed with disdain at Lin Luo.

"Boys... boys! Hehehe!" From the crowd, chubby Fei Zhai’s glasses glinted weirdly.

As Lin Luo stepped inside, he felt all sorts of stares. He became the class focus, like a kid caught peeking at a dirty magazine and called to speak by the teacher.

"Heh... hello, classmates," Lin Luo waved.

The classmates hesitated.

"Like hell! Showing off again? Who do you think you are, some big shot?" Zhang Dajian charged over. Towering at 188 cm over Lin Luo’s 170 cm, he loomed menacingly, sizing him up. "Why don’t you even have a weapon?"

"What does he need one for? He can’t lift it anyway," Jiang Xiang said, striding over with an axe on his back. He glared at Lin Luo, as if about to ask for money like before—though he’d never repaid.

"That’s enough!" A graceful voice cut through.

Like a pure breeze, Lin Yuxun rushed out from the crowd. She shot Zhang Dajian and Jiang Xiang a glare. "All you do is bully girls... boys!"

Lin Yuxun seemed to radiate a saintly glow. She hurried to Lin Luo’s side—they were nearly the same height.

She looked him over with concern. "Lin Luo, are you hurt? How did you get in from outside?"
