Special Chapter: The Heroic Sisters' Idl
update icon Updated at 2025/12/10 17:30:53

The main camp of the Western Demons expeditionary force, within the Roland Kingdom.

Inside a beautiful medieval-style castle, two brown-haired girls who looked almost identical leisurely sipped afternoon tea. Both held thick books, flipping pages and chatting idly.

They were Yura and Yuna, top-tier transmigrators among many who’d arrived in this other world, both already level 60.

"Hey~ Sister, how long has it been since we transmigrated here? I can’t quite remember~" Yura, the slightly shorter one, asked casually.

Yuna, the taller sister, flipped the pages of her magic tome at lightning speed. Her voice was flat and emotionless as she replied, "Idiot sister, how can you forget this? It’s been exactly two years, four months, and eleven days since we arrived."

"Yuna-sister’s memory is as sharp as ever~ So we’ve really been in this other world this long? I never thought Yura could survive without phones, computers, games, or anime for so long without breaking down!"

"You’ve complained about that exact thing three months ago, six months ago, and nine months ago, Yura-sister," Yuna responded blandly.

"Honestly, ever since we drove the Western Demons back to their lair, life’s gotten boring~ Leveling past 60 is so tough, and earning new skill points is nearly impossible. No fights to join, so all we can do is read magic books—but these look like scribbles! Who can even understand them? Travelogues and novels from this world are way more fun. Hey~ Sister, is that magic book really that interesting?"

As she spoke, Yura skipped over to her sister and leaned in close.

Yuna kept her expressionless face and replied, "By learning the chants and incantations from these books, you can gain new skills without spending experience points. Only an idiot sister like you wouldn’t be tempted."

"Ugh, it’s ’cause you’re so good at languages! You mastered the common tongue here in just two months. Yura can barely remember basic words. Those obscure terms in magic books take over an hour to look up in the dictionary~"

"That’s because while I was studying, you were napping, idiot sister. With your talent, if you’d worked as hard as you did learning psychology back then, you’d have finished ages ago."

"Yuna-sister, you’re lecturing again. Learning languages is way harder than guessing people’s thoughts~ Hey, Sister, want Yura to guess what you’re thinking right now?"

"Yuna sees no need. Anyway—"

Yuna’s words were cut off as Yura clamped a hand over her mouth from behind.

"‘Anyway, Yura can totally guess what Yuna’s thinking,’ right~? Isn’t that true, Sister-sama~?"

Annoyed that Yuna’s arm blocked her view of the book, Yura turned her head, pried away the hand covering her mouth, and stared at her sister. Yuna’s voice remained flat as she said, "Idiot sister, you’re bothering my reading."

"Perfect chance~ Sister-sama just showed a ♡ flaw!"

Seeing Yuna turn, Yura cupped her sister’s expressionless cheeks with both hands. In Yuna’s startled gaze, she closed her eyes and kissed her gently.

"Mmph!"

Yuna froze for a second, her surprise shifting to resignation. She didn’t resist. Silently, she closed her magic book, set it aside, and passively returned the kiss.

"Haa~"

The two nearly identical girls, differing only in height, closed the distance between them to zero. Time seemed to pause until Yura pulled away, satisfied.

"Haa... idiot sister... you’ll suffocate me one day..."

Yuna’s pretty face was flushed, her breath ragged. Her usual blank expression had melted into rare shyness, mixed with a trace of annoyance.

Yura, beaming with delight, licked her lips and grinned. "Yuna-sister, you said that exact thing last night too. Your expression was even better then, wasn’t it~?"

Yuna recalled their intimate moment from hours earlier. Crimson flooded her cheeks. She snatched the thick magic book beside her and hurled it at Yura. "Shut up, you big idiot! This world doesn’t approve of same-sex relationships. If others find out, they’ll stare at us with judgmental eyes again—just like before we transmigrated."

Yura caught the book effortlessly and smiled. "Before was before. Now is now. We have the power to crush anyone who discriminates against us. Plus, we have the strongest transmigrator, Lady Dianyi, on our side. Who could stop us? Huh~?"

"Lady Dianyi..."

Yuna shuddered, remembering the petite figure with sky-blue hair and violet-blue eyes she’d seen in a meeting room. "Lady Dianyi is open-minded, but you said last time that name is just an alias. Someone who won’t even share her real name? Yuna thinks we should stay cautious. And as a transmigrator, she’s absurdly strong—like a god. The locals here worship her as one. She shouldn’t even exist in this world."

Yura shook her head. "What’s there to fear? Sure, she’s the only ‘deity’ over level 70, summoned by humans at great cost—a true deus ex machina. But her contract only lets her act outside the Land of Origins once, unless defending herself. Otherwise, all that powerful ice magic just makes snow. She’s basically a defensive turret. Conquering the Western Demons? That’s on us Valiant Heroines~"

"No way. Idiot sister, where did you get this intel? Yuna hasn’t heard half of it."

"It’s the ‘Mind Probe’ skill~! A few days ago, while refreshing my skill points, I randomly got this fun magic~ Just use it on those pompous nobles who know the contract secrets. Easy!"

"Idiot sister, I’ve told you countless times—experience points are precious. If you managed them like Yuna, you wouldn’t be stuck at level 61."

"Hmph. Four levels higher—big deal. Every night, you’re still pinned under me, huh~?"

Ignoring her sister’s blunt remark, Yuna suddenly turned serious. "Wait. What skill did you forget?"

"‘Thunder Crescent Slash.’ I always thought the name was cringy and ugly, with terrible visual effects. Long overdue to forget~"

"Seriously? Idiot sister, you forgot your strongest damage skill? Why didn’t you tell me first?"

"Hehe. Wanted to surprise Sister-sama~! Without forgetting it, I couldn’t have gotten this intel~"

"You’re hopeless. Idiot sister, don’t tell anyone I’m your sister. It’s embarrassing."

"Alright, alright. Calm down, Sister-sama. Yura will massage your shoulders—super relaxing~"

"Fine. Next time, we’ll grind for experience in Dark Moon Forest. Forget that ‘Miao Transformation’ skill and learn a useful damage skill. Don’t say you like turning into a cat—it looks awful."

"Mmm. Sister-sama’s orders... Yura must obey~"

Yura began massaging Yuna’s shoulders. Yuna reopened her magic book and read quietly.

The two stayed silent for a long while.

...

As if remembering something, Yura suddenly asked curiously, "Hey~ Sister, I’ve been wondering lately... what’s life like for that cute pink-haired little girl Overlord among the Demon Kin? I heard she’s been locked up~"

Without looking up, Yuna replied, "Idiot sister, why wonder? Once we conquer the Western Demons and bring her back, we’ll just ask."
