In just twenty fleeting years, the world had transformed beyond imagination. Huaxia, having seized the lead in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and possibly uncovering alien technology, had surged ahead into the spacefaring era.
Every single day, Huaxia reshaped reality in ways other nations could scarcely fathom.
Tianhai City, once ordinary, had now blossomed into a futuristic metropolis coveted globally. Within this city of tomorrow, ten breathtakingly beautiful women held earth-shaking power—each capable of making the entire metropolis tremble with a single stomp of their foot. Among them were scientists, tycoons, and heirs to colossal fortunes...
Yet today, nine of these ten formidable women secretly gathered inside a heavily guarded villa. If the world knew, they’d wonder if Tianhai’s skies were about to crack. After all, merely glimpsing one of them demanded unthinkable sacrifices. Nine together? Only they knew the truth: they’d united not for politics, but for the man they all adored.
In the villa’s lounge, a stern-faced woman broke the heavy silence.
"Sisters, we must stop fighting each other. Our pointless squabbles let that *bitch* seize Chuyun!"
"Exactly!" A fox-eyed woman shot up. "That slut exploited Chuyun’s trust to trick him!"
"Right!" A seemingly innocent girl clenched her fists on the sofa. "That skank keeps faking helplessness to fool Brother Chuyun!"
"We must stop Chuyun’s wedding to that shameless woman next month!" declared a younger voice.
Nods rippled through the room. Contingency plans swirled—schemes to sabotage the wedding, even to *steal* Chuyun back.
Meanwhile, the tenth woman stood alone in her high-tech lab, cradling a tiny data card.
"Finished just in time before that bitch’s wedding..." Luo Bing’er murmured, her cheeks flushed with feverish devotion. *Chuyun, you can’t escape me.* Time to join them.
As she stepped into the lounge, nine pairs of eyes locked onto her.
"Bing’er! Where’s the system? Show us!" An impatient woman rushed forward.
A gentle voice soothed her: "Easy, sister. I’m eager too, but let’s be patient."
"I funded *trillions* for this," added a tearfully beautiful woman, "and I’m not rushing you."
A serene woman intervened: "Let Bing’er explain first."
"I call it the Conquest System," Luo Bing’er announced. "Once bound to Chuyun, it’ll assign him missions to... win back our past selves." She paused. "To avoid suspicion, I framed it as ‘saving’ us. Chuyun will think he’s rescuing girls with tragic flaws—flaws *he* supposedly caused."
"Saving us? But we’re fine now!"
"Remember how broken we were before meeting him? He only saw us as friends—dense as wood! I still don’t know how *she* made him fall for her."
"Can you exclude *her*? Make Chuyun love only us nine?"
"Brilliant idea!"
"Impossible. I’ve maxed out the DNA modifications from your samples. One more tweak could backfire catastrophically. This pill will make *past* Chuyun desire only us ten—body and soul."
"The system resets the race. Who wins his heart? That’s up to you."
"Pity... but better than losing him now."
"Ugh, he’s such a block of wood. We had to drug him just to get close."
"Enough talk! Let’s send the system back!"
"Right! I’m sick of that bitch hogging my brother!"
Luo Bing’er led them to an exquisitely crafted machine in her lab.
"Begin," a voice urged.
Luo Bing’er pressed a panel. *Click.* The time machine’s lid slid open. With trembling hands, she placed the data card inside and sealed it shut.
*Beep... BEEP... BEEEEEP—*
The machine shuddered violently for minutes before falling silent. The lid popped open. Empty.
"Did it work?"
"It’s done. The system’s been sent twenty years back."
"Time to celebrate! Who’ll invite Chuyun out?"
"Not us—he’s grown wary lately."
"Let *her* go. She’s used the least."
"Same rules: the inviter gets two turns, others one."
"Hehe... my turn’s almost up~"
"Move it!"
As their laughter faded, darkness swallowed the lab. Only the time machine glowed faintly, eerily.

September 1st, 2021.
Tianhai City’s Flower Sea Villa District. Midnight.
Inside one villa, a porcelain-skinned girl in sheer silk pajamas stood barefoot on cold floors. Her ink-black hair spilled over ivory shoulders as she glared at a boy with ordinary good looks.
"Chuyun! Why’d you bring *her* to my house *again*?"
"Xiaoqi, calm down. Let me explain—"
"Explain? You *know* I hate her! Are you trying to kill me just to please her?" She whirled away, eyes blazing. "Get lost, you perverted playboy! I’m sleeping. Don’t wake me tomorrow!" The door slammed behind her.
Chuyun watched his sister’s retreating figure, sighed, and trudged to his room. He collapsed onto his bed, lifelessly sprawled.
*Xia Shiqi.* His stepmother’s daughter. His non-blood-related little sister. Since their parents’ accident, their bond had frayed thread by thread.
*Sigh. If only some novel-style system existed...* The thought flickered, then died. *Ridiculous.*
*Ding-dong! Host Chuyun detected. Forced binding initiated!*
"¿"
"HOLY—? Was that real?!" Chuyun jolted upright as if from a deathbed.
"You heard correctly, Master."
"I’m from the future. Created by your future self."
"*I* made you?"
"Yes. Future-you sent me to your fifteenth year—*now*."
"...Seriously?"
"Future-you has one goal: save girls doomed to tragic fates... *because of you*."
"To atone, you created me to rewrite their pasts."
Chuyun had never even held a girl’s hand. Only Xiaoqi and his childhood friend Lin Wan’er mattered to him. *What could I possibly have done to ruin their lives?* Crushing guilt coiled in his chest.
"Tragic fates? What happens to them?"
"Future-you restricted that data. Just know they suffer terribly—including your sister and Wan’er."
"*Xiaoqi and Wan’er?*" His breath hitched. *My precious sister? My dearest Wan’er?* "Because of *me*?" He felt the room spin. *Am I really that monstrous?*
