When Olivia spotted Caius, that revolting blond guy was standing at the entrance of the new auction house. He seemed to be chatting with a female staff member.

What’s he doing at the auction too?

And of all times, she had to run into him…

Olivia frowned slightly, cursing her rotten luck inwardly. She even felt like spitting at him twice right there.

But she remembered her flawless disguise. Better avoid trouble. Besides, the Bluehaired Loli had public decency.

Olivia turned to check if Jitou San was with the blond guy. She scanned the area but found no trace of him.

He’s acting alone? Huh… how rare.

Just then, a graceful woman in a red dress stepped out of the auction house. Olivia didn’t recognize her—likely staff from Saint York Auction House.

The woman bowed to Caius and started talking. After listening briefly, Caius suddenly blurted out loudly:

“Enough! Just auction it already… huh? You take the goods now but pay only after it ends?”

“My apologies, Lord Caius, but… buyers only transfer your earnings to us after the auction concludes…”

The woman coughed awkwardly. Caius snapped back to reality, nodding with slight embarrassment. “Ahem… I forgot.”

“Pfft—”

Olivia couldn’t hold back a snort behind him. Seriously… was he that dumb? Even among blond jerks, Caius just set a new record. Was his brain broken or what?

No, no—she shouldn’t laugh too hard. Might slip and reveal her real voice…

Hearing the laugh, Caius frowned slightly and spun around. His glare, sharp with malice, locked onto the oddly dressed “man” before him. About six feet tall, slim build, wearing a red-and-white fox mask covering his entire face…

That mysterious outfit made Caius wary. Yet the feeling of being mocked clung stubbornly. He strode over, sneering coldly:

“Heh. And who might this fox-faced gentleman be? Such secrecy… yet why keep staring at me?”

Olivia’s heart skipped a beat. Ugh—gaming trauma from this guy made her instinctively flinch.

Staring at you? Gross. Don’t you know how ugly you are? Not worth a single hair on Gawain’s head.

The Bluehaired Loli took two deep breaths. She was disguised as a man now. No way Caius could spot the cracks. She puffed her chest out and shot back with a cold laugh:

“Nothing. Just saw a tantrum-throwing idiot and remembered something funny. Don’t take it personally~”

Olivia narrowed her eyes. The words hit like a critical strike. Caius’s fist clenched instantly. He raised his arm, ready to swing at her face—

“Hold it!” The red-dressed woman called out smoothly. She approached Caius, speaking calmly. “Lord Caius… your item is about to be auctioned. Please head to Auction Room A.”

Caius glared at Olivia but hesitated. Fighting at the entrance would anger the auction house. He snorted coldly, turned away, and followed a servant inside. Before entering, he kicked the threshold in futile rage.

Olivia stifled another laugh. The red-dressed woman stepped forward, bowing to her.

“Good day, sir. I’m Vier, staff at Saint York Auction House. How may I assist you?”

“Oh… I have some treasures to auction here.”

Olivia casually pulled a vial of glowing blue potion from her bag. Vier examined it silently, then asked tentatively:

“Is this your first time at an auction house?”

Olivia hesitated, then sighed. “Sort of… ah, yes! First time.”

“Very well. Please follow me to the appraisal room. Our experts will assess your items.”

Olivia nodded and followed Vier inside. Unnoticed by her, Caius watched from a corner, having heard every word.

After a moment, he smirked to himself. “First timer, huh… heh!”

In the appraisal room, a weary middle-aged man dozed in a wooden chair. Olivia blinked at him, then at Vier. The red-dressed woman awkwardly patted his bald head.

“Wake up! Appraisal time…”

“Huh? Another one? Fine… I’ll hurry. Should catch the A-room auction after.”

Another one…

Olivia frowned slightly, pondering his words. Earlier, wasn’t Caius planning to sell something too? What was he auctioning?

“So, sir, what are you selling…” The man turned to Olivia. Vier gestured proudly. “He’s our top magic appraiser. Your items are in safe hands.”

“Oh… ten low-grade ice-element potions.”

Olivia placed ten vials on the table. The man’s face showed disdain at “low-grade,” but perked up at “ice-element.”

“Sir… did you say all ten are ice-element?”

“Yes. Ten low-grade Freezing Potions. Pure ice-element.”

Olivia’s lips curled faintly. Vier and the appraiser exchanged stunned glances. The man’s hands trembled slightly as he picked up a vial.

Slowly, he activated his appraisal magic…

“Hah—! It’s… it’s ice-element! Absolutely!”
