"Noisy. Do you dare speak my name?"

The Great Demon King shot a glance at his dazed disciple, his voice sharp despite his guilty conscience.

As if feeling no pain—even with his left arm broken and blood seeping from his lips—the boy’s voice remained utterly frenzied.

"So strong, truly strong...powerful enough to make hearts race and souls drunk—my King, you’ve utterly surprised me!"

"Kid, you’re seriously ill. Keep taking your meds!"

Ink Ash frowned in disgust, sincerely advising the boy whose personality he hated.

Shaking his head earnestly, the boy was oddly serious about trivial things.

"No, no—I’m not insane. Just a pure madman!"

"What’s the difference—wait, you understand me?"

His expression shifted instantly, and Ink Ash shouted in shock.

"Haha...surprised? Shocked? Though I’m a native-born local, I’ve got a few like you around..."

Laughing while covering his face, to this mad boy, nothing was funnier than seeing others stunned.

Eyebrows slightly raised, Ink Ash—who’d long suspected this—asked with interest, "So...many transmigrators?"

"Exactly, my King! This world is far more complex and vast than you imagine!"

Spreading his arms joyfully, the boy tilted his head back and shouted.

Impatiently scratching his ear, Ink Ash snapped,

"You’ve rambled nonstop. What’s your point?"

"Join us!" Removing his glove, he extended his palm earnestly.

"You guys?"

"Right! Oh—haven’t I introduced myself?"

Tapping his head in confusion, the boy suddenly realized.

"First meeting: I serve the Devouring Serpent, Ninth Pillar of the Twelve Apostles—the Life-and-Death Jester, Kasha-Huister! Call me...Madman or Jester!"

Bowing elegantly, just like his insane words and that eerie jester mask, Kasha adored these names.

"Not interested." Yawning, Ink Ash drawled.

Not like mortal enemies but old friends, Kasha complained, "Huh? So quick? Won’t you reconsider?"

"Sounds like a cringey group. Sorry...I’m past that age."

Having expected this, Kasha nodded calmly. "Is that so? Then no choice..."

"Oh, fighting?" Rubbing his wrists, Ink Ash asked eagerly.

"Of course not. Even arrogant as I am, I’d never defy you, my King. I came for the Tower of Babel’s assets. Meeting you luckily means...I must yield them."

No resentment, not even a hint. Facing wealth everyone craved, the madman Kasha gave up easily.

Glancing meaningfully at the clueless Lily, Kasha murmured,

"Lucky girl chosen by the King—I await our next meeting."

"Well then—everyone, goodbye~!"

"Tch. You really love talking to yourself...Did I say you could leave?"
