Swooning Under a Single Kiss

Mushiyu lay sprawled on the bed, bored out of her mind, complaining about Melissara’s soft-lock on her. A faint sound came from the carriage door. She figured it was Melissara or Loran.

She lifted her head, about to call for them to let her out. Instead, she caught a glimpse of a face that felt familiar yet strange.

In the next instant, that face was gone, probably because Melissara had said, “Human, you’ve overstepped.”

So, that was a human?

Wait—there are humans nearby? That would be the first human she’s seen in this other world. Excitement flared. Mushiyu tiptoed to the door and eavesdropped.

They were close to the compartment, so every word carried to Mushiyu’s ears. She finally understood: Loran had borrowed that mirror. So Loran and Melissara really didn’t have one? Seriously, Loran—such a cold-faced, warm-hearted tsundere.

Thinking that, her favor for Loran crept up without her noticing.

What puzzled her was why Melissara wouldn’t just admit she’d used the mirror. Was that so hard to answer?

Hearing the door open, Mushiyu hurried back and flopped onto the bed again. Melissara stepped in, gave her a glance, picked up the mirror on the small table, and left.

When Melissara came in again, Mushiyu couldn’t help blurting, “Who was that just now? Was she human?”

Melissara paused, walked to the bedside, and looked down at her. Her tone was cold. “Stop asking about things that don’t concern you.”

“Don’t concern me?” Mushiyu stared. “I’m human too. How does that not concern me?”

A trace of displeasure flashed in Melissara’s eyes. She bent down, lightly pinched Mushiyu’s chin, and looked into those pure black eyes. “You want to go to the humans?”

Mushiyu drew her neck back, uncomfortable, dodging her hand. “I am human, okay!”

Which meant it was only natural she’d think that. It was basically an admission.

Melissara’s face darkened. Her slender fingers clamped down on Mushiyu’s chin, hard.

“It hurts…” Mushiyu breathed out. She grabbed Melissara’s wrists, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes.

She didn’t know what was wrong with this body. Even a light touch hurt, like the Princess and the Pea. She’d never been this delicate before.

Melissara ignored her and leaned in close. Her voice was icy. “Drop it. You stay by my side. You’re not going anywhere.”

“Ugh… why?” Mushiyu glared, angry.

“Because I’m your master.”

She glanced at Mushiyu’s glossy lips and, without hesitation, forced a kiss on her.

Mushiyu’s mind went blank with a burst of dizziness. She pushed at Melissara’s shoulders on reflex, trying to shove her away.

Melissara held the back of her head to keep her still. Her other hand locked around Mushiyu’s waist, pressing their bodies tight. She was too strong. Mushiyu couldn’t break free and could only let out muffled mmphs.

“If you dare bite, I won’t mind pulling out all your teeth.”

With that threat, Mushiyu didn’t dare move recklessly. The kiss grew more aggressive. She endured it, nausea rising, tears slipping free.

Melissara narrowed her eyes, clearly pleased. Ever since tasting it that morning, she’d been craving this. To her, it was better than any spirit fruit from the Elven Forest.

But that still wasn’t enough for her. She tried to go further. Mushiyu clenched her teeth, and several attempts failed. Melissara frowned and ordered, “Open.”

Mushiyu refused, lips pressed tight, eyes shut. Her tear-streaked, rosy cheeks looked sweet and helpless.

Seeing her resist, Melissara pinched her jaw. A little pressure, and Mushiyu cried out and opened. Melissara sealed their mouths again and forced the kiss deeper.

Tears kept flowing. Mushiyu felt violated. She tried to fight back, but it did nothing.

Melissara pursued and took control whenever Mushiyu tried to retreat. She seemed to revel in it, taking more and more.

Mushiyu was on the verge of collapse. All her strength drained away. At some point, Melissara had pressed her onto the bed.

She stopped struggling, as if giving up. Melissara’s hands moved over her, sending shivers through her limbs. Mushiyu went limp, like she might melt into water.

Her mind stayed blank. Her vision turned hazy. The suffocation grew stronger, and her awareness slipped away bit by bit.

At last, Mushiyu’s eyes rolled back, and she fainted.
