"What additional conditions?"

Rayelle blinked dazedly.

Seeing Lulu’s mischievous eyes, her heart started racing again, and her face flushed slightly.

Could it be...

"To make you unable to resist, always searching for her for me."

"Could it be..."

Rayelle’s face turned red as she involuntarily began to fantasize.

A collar? Or some heart-shaped mark? Or an indescribable potion?

Wow, any of those would be so lewd.

But I’m strong-willed—I’d never submit!

"Exactly as you thought. Report your progress regularly, or I’ll tell Aerin!"

"..."

Watching Lulu’s proud little smirk, Rayelle froze like she’d choked. Is this it?

Is this all you’ve got?

No—what was I even expecting...

She shook her head, banishing the weird thoughts.

"But I have no idea where Demonic Sword Jormungandr is... or how to contact you..." Rayelle said weakly.

She guessed Lulu asked because Aerin, the righteous Hero, would never agree to seek the Demon Sword.

Aerin might not even shatter it on sight.

As an evil dragon, Rayelle might have ties to it.

Sadly, Lulu guessed wrong.

Rayelle had zero clue where the sword was!

Despair washed over her.

"Oh, I have some leads. Just follow them," Lulu said simply.

"For contact, I’ll leave a mark. That way, I can protect you. If you croak, Aerin would be heartbroken."

Protect?

You mean spy on me! Rayelle silently grumbled, watching Lulu’s sly grin.

As for the mark...

Would it be tattooed on her belly?

"Don’t worry. I won’t hover over you constantly," Lulu said, reading Rayelle’s flustered expression.

She didn’t plan to push too hard. Rayelle seemed adorably clueless and harmless, but her Extraordinary Power was broken-level.

Even Holy Sword Gungnir’s suppression wouldn’t save Lulu in a fight-to-the-death clash.

Plus, maintaining her avatar drained her. Aerin wasn’t strong yet, so splitting the Holy Sword’s power too thin weakened it.

"Let’s sign a trade contract."

Lulu half-sat, raising a tiny hand. A holy golden sigil floated in the air.

"Rayelle, find Demonic Sword Jormungandr and its spirit Lily for me. In return, I’ll hide your identity and protect you. Deal?"

Rayelle met Lulu’s serious gaze and thought it over.

She had little choice.

She genuinely feared Aerin—not because she’d lose, but because she hated pain.

Plus, her plump tail was too obvious. With no magic or oversized clothes, she couldn’t hide alone.

Lulu hadn’t gone too far, likely knowing pressure backfired. Even a cornered dog bites—let alone a howling, super-fierce baby dragon.

"Fine."

Rayelle agreed.

Secretly, she planned to snatch the Demon Sword herself.

If the Holy Sword was this strong, its twin must be powerful too.

Most importantly, Holy Sword spirit Lulu was a soft, cute little girl—mischievous but adorable.

Lily, the Demon Sword’s spirit, must be similar!

Just imagining owning her own loli made Rayelle giddy.

After all, Lulu only asked her to find Lily—not to give her up.

"Good. Let’s link the contract."

The golden sigil spun slowly, emitting threads of light that wrapped around them.

The thickest strands connected to their chests.

The contract terms flashed in Rayelle’s mind.

She checked carefully for traps, then infused her magic to activate it.

Links formed. Magic flowed. The sigil flared. The pact was sealed.

"Done."

Lulu seemed pleased.

Rayelle suspected Lily was Lulu’s close friend or family. Why else involve her?

"Alright, little evil dragon. The Demon Sword is in your claws now~"

Lulu pounced on Rayelle, winking mischievously.

Rayelle didn’t dare resist. Trapped under the 1.2-meter sword spirit, she squirmed, face crimson.

Watching Rayelle’s twitching plump tail, timid-cute expression, and pink-tinged skin, Lulu licked her lips. She almost wanted to devour her whole.

She even regretted making the contract too fair.

But the thought vanished instantly.

She’d have plenty of chances later to roll in bed with this silly, adorable dragon. Pushing too hard wasn’t wise.

Ah well. Her main goal was finding the twin Demon Sword.

Lulu gave Rayelle one last longing look, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and stretched.

"Okay... sweet thing. I’m heading back."

She nuzzled Rayelle’s fluffy tail once more, stood up, and faded like mist.

Rayelle watched the specks of light drift toward the next room. Lulu was returning to the Holy Sword—spirits couldn’t stray long from their blades.

Wait... hold on!

As Lulu vanished, Rayelle snapped to attention. She stared at her plump tail bouncing between her legs.

"Hey! Lulu! How do I go out like this?!"

She pressed her palm to the golden diamond-shaped mark on her wrist, calling for help.

The mark glowed faintly.

"Huh? Just cover up with something," Lulu’s voice came, drowsy.

"What if Aerin sees me?!"

"...She won’t. Find a big coat or something."

This girl’s so unreliable.

"Can’t you use magic to hide it?!" Rayelle asked meekly.

"Sorry, no. I’m a dragon-slaying Holy Sword—I don’t do lewd magic."

"..."

Rayelle’s eye twitched.

You’re blackmailing me with my secret, and that’s not lewd?

But she stayed silent.

"I don’t have big clothes. Get me one!"

"..."

A long pause. Then a drawn-out yawn.

"Ugh, fine. Wait—I’ll steal one from Aerin’s closet."

"Huh?"

Before Rayelle could reply, Lulu reappeared.

A wide black cloak and a round-topped hat materialized with her.

The cloak hid her tail and tiny wings; the hat covered her horns.

"Good enough? Rumor says someone spotted a sword like Jormungandr with the Chaos Sect. I think they have it. Sneak in, Rayelle. If trouble hits, call me—I’ll help with anything except fighting directly."

Yawning, Lulu vanished again. Probably back to sleep.

Rayelle’s eye twitched once more.

"Anything except fighting directly"? That’s no help at all.

She sighed, flopping onto the bed. Staring at the ceiling, exhaustion weighed on her.

Still, infiltrating the Chaos Sect was her plan anyway.

She aimed to erase elements that could turn Aerin evil—avoiding her own tragic fate. Contacting Chaos Cultists was essential.

Earlier in the alley, she’d only meant to eavesdrop. Seeing Chriss made her snap...

Now, thanks to her, the cultists had gone underground, hard to reach.

To eliminate that threat, sneaking in was her only option.
