Overlord Nexus: A dimension-aberrant organization, a malformed presence in the multiverse. It shows severe anti-human, anti-social, anti-civilization tendencies. At the unit level—the base unit of the multiverse is a Civilization—it habitually seeks to plunder and enslave resources. Due to special traits, after plundering and digesting, it can imitate and mass-produce all kinds of civilizations on a large scale.
By nature it is invasive and stealthy. It frequently clashes with multiversal organizations. Even inside dimensional aberration groups, resource wars erupt often. The harm to the growth of civilizations is extreme.
Temporal Locusts: Personnel cultivated inside the Overlord Nexus via a point-exchange system, much like an online game. They’re expendables for non-frontline consumption. They’re also nicknamed “space-time locusts.”
Most Temporal Locusts die across the worlds they enter. A very small few can break free of the Overseer’s control. Whether one can escape depends more on how the Overseer farms them. The vast majority die tragically, rather than transcend.
Dimensional Aberration Organizations: Groups superior relative to normal dimensions, with high aggression and infection capacity. Examples include the Overlord Nexus, Nightmare Space, Crossing Freaks, Reincarnation Space, Death Game, Yuan-One, Evolution, and others.
Anomaly Containment Coalition: A global organization dealing with supernatural phenomena, entities, and incidents. Authorized by major national governments, and operating outside normal judicial interference. Its goal is to contain anomalies—phenomena, incidents, entities—collectively called Containment Entities.
Chaos Splitters: The Coalition’s mortal enemy, a containment faction splintered from it. Exploiting the dictatorships of Third World countries, they use local populations much like the Coalition uses D-Class personnel for research.
They keep those countries in extreme poverty and civil war. That lets them run radical experiments, secure human resources more easily, and profit from dealings with rebel factions.
Second Weather Bureau: A Chinese containment organization, descended from the imperial Qintianjian. It runs multiple departments and is not highly classified. Their people show up actively in many incidents. They put national stability above all else, willing to forsake personal interests and even life for the will of the organization.
Seinen Society: Predecessor to the Second Weather Bureau. Officially defunct; details unknown. Rumor says it still lurks somewhere within the Bureau.
Cthulhu-type Evil Gods: Twisted, indescribable lifeforms. Incomprehensible to humans, thus called “gods.” Their essence and form are unknown, and they pose great harm to humanity.
Because the threat is too great, they’re jointly blacklisted by the Second Weather Bureau and the Anomaly Containment Coalition. On any sign of an Evil God, control and expel at once. If there’s a chance to kill, never let it pass. Violators are treated as committing crimes against humanity.
Evil God Worshipers: Followers whose minds are polluted by an Evil God and fall into worship. They seek to call them forth, even open the star gate to their hives, link to the White Land, and lead the Evil Gods down.
Their deepest impact came with the Stargate Incident in the Gulf of Aden, a global-level catastrophe. Afterward, the Anomaly Containment Coalition spent vast resources to erase its malignant effects.
