I jumped into the dungeon.

Four more things slammed down after it.
What was this? After the shaking stopped, I steadied myself against the wall and peeked out.

This can't be a dream! I couldn't believe my eyes. Seeing others in the distance equally shocked confirmed it. Right there was a giant dragon! Just like the legends: silvery scales, golden horns. This was the Dragon Deity Aogelizi, guardian of the dungeon tower's peak.

It was covered in wounds and clearly unconscious.
Before I could process it, another impossible sight appeared. A figure with four black feathered wings descended slowly before the dragon. And the two people he carried were Aerin and Tia!!
Weren't they supposed to be in the tenth-floor boss room!? Why here? Unharmed too. Did they defeat the boss? Impossible!!
My mind couldn't connect the dots.
Just as my thoughts froze, the Dragon Deity on the ground stood up.
[Human!! To wield the power of the stars... it seems I have lost.]
What!! Did the Dragon Deity just say he lost? Did this person beat him? No! This didn't look human. He'd retracted those black wings, but I remembered them clearly. And that sword in his hand—nothing like it belonged in this world.
[You truly are not talkative!!! But since you, as a human, defeated me, my duty here ends.]
The "human" before him stared silently. A suffocating pressure radiated from his body.
So the Dragon Deity was truly beaten by this "person." His words confirmed the unbelievable truth again and again.
[Then~~~ I shall retire from duty and wander the world~~~~ Farewell!!!]
With that, the Dragon Deity spread his huge white wings and shot into the clouds.

After the dragon left, the noisy dungeon plaza fell eerily silent.

An excited voice suddenly broke the quiet.

Shouts like these rose nonstop. An excited crowd rushed toward us. I, standing closest, heard words that would shock me for life.
