Volume 1 Supplement: Character Profiles and Setting Details

Aerin: She moved to Landton City with her parents as a child. Both were adventurers. At 16, her parents left on a mission and never returned. Later, seeing their brutally murdered bodies at the guild, Aerin vowed to become an adventurer and find their killer. She officially joined at 18. But lacking childhood training, she only handled low-tier tasks when she first met the male lead.

Tia: Her birth parents were Kingdom nobles, but died in the war against the Empire while she was young. Tia then dedicated herself to mastering magic, burning to avenge them. She now lives with her uncle, Landton City’s lord. Since he has no heirs, most assume she’s his daughter. Before meeting the male lead, she’d already earned Gold-rank adventurer status through sheer effort.

Gibor: The guild’s middle-aged administrator, he wields heavy influence there. Though he often teases the male lead, he’s genuinely kind—handpicking suitable missions for him and prioritizing his safety.

Hank: Once part of the Kingdom army’s most undisciplined unit, the Wild Wolf Company. During a raid on an Empire supply depot with 300 men, his force was one-sidedly slaughtered by a single Empire company. Hank fled desperately with survivors. While escaping, one person easily severed his arm.

Setting Details:

Aismode Continent has four nations: the Kingdom, Empire, Republic, and Theocracy. The Kingdom specializes in magic; the Republic in magitek and machinery; the Empire in cold weapons.

The Theocracy is neutral, holding the continent’s dominant faith.

The Demon World Continent houses demons, with minimal connection to Aismode Continent—details later.

The Adventurers’ Guild ignores nationality; all branches across Aismode Continent are unified.

Anyone 18+ can join as an adventurer. Ranks exist, but Bronze-to-Silver promotions are lenient—daily tasks suffice. True competence starts at Gold rank.

Landton City seems cheerful and harmonious, yet hides slums and slaves.

Pelina was already away on a bandit hunt, so she missed the summons.

The guards’ captain and team leader are mid-Gold rank. Hank matches mid-Diamond strength.

The bandit group numbers around 60. Their ranks mirror adventurers’, but battlefield experience makes them slightly tougher. Many high-rank members died in wars.

Aerin declared, “Not killing evildoers harms the innocent,” after her parents’ murder.

The male lead, though max-level with godly gear, is new to this world. He deeply resists killing, hesitating to act for fear of overdoing it and causing death. Some readers call him naive for not conquering the world—but arriving in a strange place, he’d prioritize understanding its rules and power dynamics over domination. This story isn’t about ruling realms.

The katana he finally drew is a white-grade weapon 【Rusty Katana】, used in-game as a sacrificial item to pad enhancement luck.
