"Hahaha!" Yuhan He couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing.

Lin Ming stared at her speechlessly, his face stern. "Junior, what's so funny about this? Shouldn't you sympathize with me? Huh?!"

"Senior, sorry! Pfft! Sorry!" Yuhan He hurriedly apologized, but her laughter made it sound utterly insincere.

"... " Lin Ming sighed in exasperation.

After laughing for a while, Yuhan He calmed down and looked at his weary expression. "Senior, please don't take it to heart!"

"Tch. Is it really that funny?" Lin Ming muttered, curling his lip.

"Senior, these past two days, you've either been calm and collected, or obsessed with money, or wolfing down food like you hadn't eaten in weeks," Yuhan He said serenely, sitting there. "It's as if you do whatever you want, whenever you want."

Lin Ming's lips twitched. He hadn't left a good impression on this junior at all. And "doing whatever you want" just meant he was used to being wild.

Yuhan He beamed at him. "Seeing you like that, I thought nothing could shake your mood. I never expected to see you flustered today—that frustrated, helpless look. Pfft!"

Spotting her about to laugh again, Lin Ming quickly raised a hand. "Hold it! Hold it! Stop laughing. Just tell me where else you want to go!"

"Okay, okay! I won't laugh! Let's go!" Yuhan He chirped with a bright smile. She stood up and bounced toward him.

"Let's go!" Lin Ming rose and followed.

...

One hour later, around 11 AM, Lin Ming finally grasped true agony. Women shopping—whether young or old—had terrifying combat power.

He trudged behind Yuhan He, utterly transformed. Bags hung from every limb, and gift boxes towered over his head by two layers.

Lin Ming silently wept inside. *Damn, I miscalculated. I actually thought this was just casual shopping! Holy crap, which street is this now? My Storage Ring is full—can you believe it? It's only five square meters, but it's usually empty! Damn it!*

He followed with unshed tears while Yuhan He brimmed with excitement. Twenty minutes ago, when his Storage Ring filled, he realized she'd entered a trance-like state. No matter how he called, she brushed him off. That's how it ended like this. Lin Ming was certain Rosen had given her a much larger Storage Ring, but she hadn't listened! (Crying)

Lin Ming looked skyward and groaned. "Old man! If only you'd given me that Storage Ring, I wouldn't be suffering like this!"

"Senior! Let's check out that store!"

"!! C-coming!" Lin Ming heard her voice and trailed after her, heart weeping silently.

"When will this ever end!"

...

Rosen directed operations in the large plaza of the City Lord's Mansion.

Specifically, he oversaw stage setup, equipment testing, lighting, and song preparations.

"Damn, this is exhausting. The young lady starts rehearsing as soon as she returns today. But with just one person, the pressure might be too much. I'll arrange backup dancers to share the load. Anyway, it's not my money," Rosen muttered. He sat under a tree's shade near the plaza, sunglasses on, watching workers.

Nearby, supervisor Bai Yan sat with arms crossed, dozing off—no supervision in sight.

"You kids are so lucky! Shopping while I slave away directing. Hey! The wine's gone!" Rosen picked up his empty glass from the table.

"Hey! Someone, bring another bottle of wine and a few plates of shredded squid!"

...

Noon, 12 PM. Lin Ming lay sprawled on a restaurant table like a dead pig from exhaustion. Goods piled beside him like a small mountain, drawing stares from onlookers.

Yuhan He sat across, grinning. "Senior, are you tired? Aren't you a Body Cultivator? How can a little walk tire you out?"

"Probably... just hungry!" Lin Ming replied weakly. Truthfully, he was emotionally drained. A mighty Body Cultivator, reduced to a pack mule! And when Yuhan He paid, shopkeepers gave him weird looks. His heart ached with fatigue.

"Then, Senior, go grab food! I'll store the gifts in my Storage Ring!" Yuhan He lowered her head, placing items into her ring one by one.

*Whoosh!* Lin Ming dashed out instantly. He didn't know the restaurant type (gifts blocked his view), but he didn't care—he'd turn frustration into appetite!

"Oh, right! Senior, this is a buffet, so don't overeat or the boss might kick you out! ... Hey, where are you?" Yuhan He looked up to warn him, but he'd vanished. She shook her head helplessly.

"Senior really is impatient."

... One hour later

Yuhan He calmly watched two towers of empty plates across from her. She'd seen Lin Ming's terrifying appetite yesterday. Sipping juice, she waited.

While she stayed calm, the store manager panicked. He glared at Lin Ming, face dark as pot soot. Gritting his teeth, he forced a smile. "Sir, may I discuss something?"

"Speak," Lin Ming replied flatly, still eating.

"Sir, we'll waive your bill if you leave. You've nearly eaten all our food today." The manager's eyes welled with tears. They'd restocked that morning; the store just opened at noon when Lin Ming, this plague, arrived. Today's losses cut to the bone.

Lin Ming glanced at his plates, then the tearful manager, and reluctantly stopped. "Hey! Don't act like I'm bullying you. I'm kind. Junior, let's go!"

"Thank you! Thank you!" The owner bowed deeply, thinking a quick restock might save evening sales.

"Got it!" Yuhan He shot Lin Ming an amused look—he wore an expression of unfulfilled hunger.

They walked out under the owner's grateful gaze.

"Sigh! Still not full!" Lin Ming sighed helplessly. He couldn't shamelessly keep eating after a personal plea.

Yuhan He gave him an angelic smile. "Senior, let's continue shopping!"

Lin Ming froze instantly.
