"Really, there’s a sister? Was I just deluding myself this whole time? Impossible! I’m a standard loli—no one can resist my charm..."

Hearing the little loli’s muttering, I didn’t slow my steps. Maa~ She wasn’t wrong—she really was an incredibly cute loli. The cutest I’d ever seen. At 155 cm tall, her hair reached her waist, snow-white skin, and big, lively eyes.

Every inch of her was perfect—like a flawless loli crafted by the 2D god and dropped into reality. But no matter how cute, she couldn’t compare to my Yuxuan. One was family, the other just a cute loli. I don’t know about others, but I’d always choose family.

Yuxuan lifted her head. Her eyes were rimmed with redness, and her porcelain-white hands bore scratches and swelling.

"Brother..."

"Yuxuan! What happened? Who hurt you? I’ll settle the score with them right now!"

"Brother, it’s nothing... Let’s just go home."

The more Yuxuan said that, the less I could relax. Seeing her swollen eyes, guilt washed over me.

"Yuxuan... Does your hand still hurt? Can you tell me what happened?"

Yuxuan ignored me, turning away to walk outside.

What should I do? Follow her? It probably wouldn’t change anything. Besides, as a guy, I shouldn’t get tangled in messy emotions.

Deep breath... Deep breath... Calm down, Li Ze! Today’s all Sunny Su’s fault—my mood’s a powder keg.

Seriously, what’s with today? Everyone’s acting like they planned it, piling up on one day. Ugh... So annoying, but I still have to deal with it.

"Oh right, little loli. What’s your name?"

The little loli, muttering nonstop nearby, finally snapped out of it.

"I’m... My name is BaiQinyi."

"Mhm, got it. And goodbye."

I dashed out the door, hoping Yuxuan hadn’t gone far...

My memory went fuzzy—probably the alcohol hadn’t worn off. When I came to, I was on our usual street home, Yuxuan walking silently beside me.

"Um... Yuxuan, can you tell me what happened just now?"

Hearing my voice, Yuxuan stuck out her tongue. "Hmph~ I won’t tell a dummy like you!"

That’s when I noticed her hands and eyes were completely healed... Did I fix that during my memory lapse? I didn’t know. Maybe someday I’ll find out. But somehow, it felt like it wouldn’t matter by then.

"Oh, by the way, Brother~ Did you finish my school enrollment application?"

Oh no—I forgot Yuxuan’s enrollment... Whatever, I’ll redo it tonight. I’ve used my Superpower so many times lately anyway—once more won’t hurt.

Holding Yuxuan’s hand, I walked home.

It should’ve ended there, but the tragedy was—plenty of dishes at home... no rice or flour!

Poor me had to sprint to the nearby supermarket, then rush back home.
