1. Beastification Sickness
When human males are exposed to the Dark Overlord's leaking power, they develop this affliction. Their bodies sprout silvery-white fur and bone spikes. Gradually, they lose their human will, becoming tools of slaughter. The sickness spreads only through bodily fluids. Only Sorceresses can command them. Currently, there's no effective cure. However, Life Magic can suppress the symptoms to some extent.
2. Sorceress
Human females undergo a mutation after exposure to the Dark Overlord's leaking power and a latent period. They retain their sanity but act on the core principle of world destruction. Before fully becoming a Sorceress, there's a transitional phase. During this phase, their power is extremely weak. Most Sorceresses are burned by the Holy See at this stage. A rare few who survive this phase become exceptionally formidable. Historically, only about seven such Sorceresses have been recorded. Yet, their number never seems to increase.
3. Dark Overlord
Centuries ago, an entity appeared on this continent, seeking to annihilate all humans. He brought the Beastfolk to this world. His power was so immense that he couldn't be destroyed. Finally, several Mages cast a forbidden-tier sealing spell to imprison him. However, the sealing Magic Circle was unstable. As a result, the Dark Overlord's power began leaking continuously.
4. Beastfolk
The Beastfolk currently dwell in the polar ice plains beyond the Northern Frontier. Though culturally primitive, they possess formidable combat strength. An average human can't stand against them one-on-one. Every winter, the Beastfolk raid cities across the Northern Frontier. To defend against them, humans have dug an artificial lake and erected multiple walls.
5. Halfbeast
Halfbeasts are the offspring of Beastfolk and humans. Among the Beastfolk, they are slaves of the lowest status. In human society, their standing is also low. Physically, their only Beastfolk traits are their eyes and ears; some have tails. Thanks to the blend of strong genes, Halfbeasts match Beastfolk in speed and strength. Their intelligence is on par with humans. However, due to their internal physiology, learning magic is extremely difficult. But once they grasp the basics, they advance rapidly.
6. Celestial Realm
The Celestial Realm is the source of power for Constellation Magic. It's a high-magic, high-tech plane. However, its world belongs to no universe. It's locked within its own realm by an unknown force. Thus, its inhabitants can only be summoned out using external Constellation Magic.
