Chapter 29
Stalos's sudden proposal made Lisbeth tilt her head slightly in confusion. After all, the size of Stalos's chest meant nothing to her. Yet she knew Stalos wasn't an idiot—this couldn't be a pointless request.
Sure enough, seeing Lisbeth's puzzled look, Stalos flashed a mysterious smile. "Hey," she said softly, "you're not stupid. You know Ovelia crafted our bodies, so our originals must be stored with her. Mine doesn't matter to me, but yours? It's important, right? This might be your chance."
"Hmph. Yes, a good chance," Lisbeth replied. "But it came too suddenly—I can barely handle it."
Hearing this, Lisbeth's eyes turned icy. She stared coldly at Stalos. "If I wanted my body back and to escape this Demon King's Fortress, I wouldn't have come here. I don't know who sent you, but stop these boring tests."
"Hmph. How dull. I thought you'd say something fun," Stalos muttered. She waved a hand, bored. "Alright, jokes over. Let's talk seriously. Getting your body back was a joke, but I really want bigger breasts. I need your help."
"Fine. Tell me," Lisbeth said. "You wouldn't ask without a tempting offer, right?"
Just as Lisbeth suspected, Stalos's earlier words were only a test. She didn't seem ordered around—probably just joking. Seeing Lisbeth's interest, Stalos suddenly pointed at her chest. "Lisbeth, your chest was perfectly made. But did you know larger breasts sag over time?"
"Huh? Sag?!" Lisbeth gasped.
Stalos's words were something Lisbeth had never considered. She loved her chest but never thought of sagging. Seeing Lisbeth's shock, Stalos shook her head. "Lisbeth, Ovelia's a genius, but she hates perfection. She values flaws—they drive improvement. She could freeze your body forever, but she'd never do it."
"Last time I visited her lab, I saw her testing an anti-aging potion. If we get it, you could..."
"Deal! I'll help you!" Lisbeth cut in.
Lisbeth understood now. She didn't know when sagging might happen, but she'd never allow it. Seeing her nod, Stalos patted her shoulder. "Good. I like straightforward people. No time to waste. In two days, when Ovelia's away during work, we'll sneak into her lab!"
"Got it!"
