"A dog Mu Mu and I adopted," Lin Jie replied.

"Why keep it at Xiao Zhan's place?" Glasses Bro asked, puzzled.

"It's a Siberian Husky—the infamous 'demolition crew' dog. If I kept it home, Lin Wan would kill me," Lin Jie explained. "Xiao Zhan's rooftop is huge. Let it run wild. I won't clean up."

"Figures. Shamelessness suits you," Glasses Bro remarked.

They arrived at Xiao Tower. Xiao Zhan was already there, surprisingly.

"What a coincidence," Lin Jie said, seeing him at the entrance.

"Cheap coincidence!" Xiao Zhan snapped at Lin Jie. "Explain this Husky now!"

Xiao Zhan lifted the dog, glaring at Lin Jie.

"Oh, that! I saw this poor dog and kept it at your place. But your reaction shows you're fully recovered," Lin Jie said.

"How dare you!" Xiao Zhan retorted. "I almost went back to rehab the moment I stepped in."

Lin Jie and the others saw Xiao Zhan's home. It looked robbed—utterly devastated. Vases lay smashed everywhere.

"Impressive. At this size, it's already capable. Imagine when it grows," Lin Jie marveled.

"That's not the point. Look at my floor," Xiao Zhan said, pointing.

Lin Jie looked. Pixelated Stain Remover Rods formed a square, writhing and vibrating. White "milk" kept spurting out.

"Holy crap!" Lin Jie was dumbfounded.

"When I came back, it was licking the 'milk'!" Xiao Zhan yelled. "Consider my feelings as owner! How did it crack my armory? My security system—broken by a dog! And I stepped on a lump of dog Xiang entering!"

Facing Xiao Zhan's barrage, Lin Jie stepped back. "No wonder you smell weird. So that's it."

"But..." Xiao Zhan hesitated.

"You won't allow it?" Tears welled in Lin Mumu's eyes.

Xiao Zhan surrendered. "Alright, it stays with me."

"Put Doudou down now!" the little girl ordered.

"Oh." Xiao Zhan let go instinctively.

"Mu Mu, why here?" Lin Jie asked. "Shouldn't you be in class?"

"We had an ability assessment exam," the little girl said. "Finished early. Came to see Doudou."

"Oh? How did you do?" Lin Jie stroked his chin.

"Qingqing and I got A Rank, Brother Lin!" Lin Mumu chirped. "Top ten in school!"

"Really? Our Mu Mu is amazing," Lin Jie said, ruffling her hair.

"Of course. Qingqing and Mu Mu aren't like you three D Rank trash," the little girl declared.

"What a blunt kid," Glasses Bro chuckled dryly.

"Let's play with Doudou," Qingqing said, pulling Mu Mu inside. Then a scream—she dragged a bewildered Mu Mu out. "You big brothers are all perverted scum!"

Inside, they saw Doudou standing in white liquid, licking it. Pixelated Stain Remover Rods wriggled in the mess.

"Crap! We haven't cleaned!" Xiao Zhan realized.

"Wait! Listen—it's not what you think!" Xiao Zhan said. "Doudou took those out himself."

"Exactly! True," Lin Jie grabbed the girls.

"I won't listen! I won't listen! I won't listen! Calling police! Arrest all three perverts!" Qingqing shook her head. "Teacher said never believe perverts!"

"Wait! I admit those two are perverts, but not me!" Glasses Bro protested.

"Just listen!" Xiao Zhan said. "Those are actually my weapons—"

"And you deny being a pervert!" Qingqing shot back.

"Damn, this is worse!" Xiao Zhan sighed.

"Let me go, or I scream," Qingqing warned.

"Hear us first. If I let go, you'll call police. My reputation's ruined," Lin Jie said.

The girl under his arm ignored them.

"Aaaah!!" A piercing scream erupted from Xiao Tower's rooftop. A sound wave radiated from her, shattering all glass instantly.

Finally, after much effort, Lin Jie and the others explained everything. Qingqing glared at them like non-recyclable trash. They saw the girls off under her scum-of-the-earth stare.

The Husky happily licked "milk" on the floor inside.

Lin Jie, Xiao Zhan, and Glasses Bro sat down.

"Your fault! Why hold that kid!" Xiao Zhan yelled.

"What?" Lin Jie shouted. "I can't hear!"

"Why grab that kid and not let go!" Xiao Zhan yelled back.

"Ah! How knew she'd scream so loud!" Lin Jie shouted. "If not for your pixelated rods, this wouldn't happen!"

"What?" Xiao Zhan asked.

"If not for those rods, none of this," Lin Jie yelled.

"How dare you!" Xiao Zhan shouted. "If you hadn't dumped a Husky at my place! I just left rehab! Others rest at home! I endure this torture! Without my strong spirit, I'd be back in rehab!"

"What happened during your training?" Lin Jie asked.

"Thirteen showed up! Training went haywire! Glasses vanished! We ended like this! No details—I won't remember!" Xiao Zhan yelled.

"Glasses is bleeding strangely!" Lin Jie said, looking at Glasses Bro sitting aside, bleeding from eyes and nose, vacant-eyed.

"Holy crap! What happened! That sound wave shouldn't be lethal!" Xiao Zhan exclaimed.
