"Admitting your mistake?"

I narrowed my eyes slightly, hands cupped under my chest, and stared coldly at Lu.

"Mhm, I was wrong!" Lu, already soaked in the bath, nodded eagerly. "I was wrong, I was wrong! Don’t be mad, Amelia."

"...Alright, I’ll let you off this time."

I raised an eyebrow, then couldn’t help but smile at her.

After my words faded, I slipped off my clothes, tied my long hair up, and stepped naked into the bath.

"Mmm… so comfortable."

Once fully seated and immersed in the hot water, that heavenly warmth made me lean against the bath wall with a soft moan.

Amelia’s original race was the Phoenix—a fiery bird who adored bathing. She’d even soaked for days in active volcanoes. To enjoy it naturally, she once chased off a male red dragon mid-bath. But she happily shared the water with friendly female dragons.

"Haa… haven’t felt this good in ages."

Right after I leaned back, Lu twisted in the cramped bath and scooted toward me. I chuckled, pulling her close.

My hands brushed her smooth skin, gently tugging her into my arms. Lu giggled, resting against my chest and rubbing the back of her head against my neck.

"Mmm~ so comfy!"

She nuzzled me like a kitten, letting out a pitifully sweet sound.

"Temperature okay?"

I stroked her long hair lightly as I asked.

"No problem at all~ Amelia, forgot already? With my body, I could bathe in volcanoes with you!"

Lu grinned cheekily.

"You’re full of it." I tapped her little head. "I remember clearly—last volcano trip, you fainted every hour. I had to rush you home. And you dare bring it up now?"

"Ugh… th-that was ages ago! I’ve grown a bit now! So… so it’d be totally fine today!"

Lu, still in my lap, whined and turned red-faced to argue.

"Grown a bit? Doesn’t look like it."

I pinched her tempting little cheek.

"Mmm… do I need a body like yours to count as grown up?"

Lu puffed her cheeks, spun around, and grabbed my chest, burying her face against it.
